But the next second, Charlotte Thompson’s jaw was roughly grabbed by soone.
The person in front of her was observing Charlotte like they were examining an object, looking her up and down.
"Is it this one?"
He then turned to the other kidnapper beside him and asked.
However, the answer from the other person was not of much value.
"Didn’t they say it was a female celebrity? Both these won look quite pretty, I have no idea which one it is."
Yet, for Charlotte, this single sentence was full of information.
Female celebrity?
They were actually after Annie Anne!
Charlotte anxiously clenched her palms and then saw another person walk in from outside the factory, who was clearly the man who had been driving earlier.
With a cigarette hanging from his mouth, puffing out smoke, he walked towards Charlotte and Annie Anne.
"Boss."
The two kidnappers who were initially standing in front of Charlotte and Annie Anne respectfully greeted the man upon seeing him.
The kidnapper referred to as the boss stood in front of Annie Anne, glanced at her, and then turned his gaze to Charlotte Thompson, whose jaw was still being held up by the kidnapper.
"Looks like she’s also a rich person." The boss touched his jaw as he spoke, his speech slurred by the cigarette in his mouth.
"Boss, you an... we could score another hit?" One of the kidnappers imdiately moved closer with excitent upon hearing this but received a harsh slap from the boss.
"Hit what? Did you forget what we’re instructed to do? Dare to have such crooked thoughts before the job is done, be careful, I’ll shoot you."
Upon hearing the boss’s words, that kidnapper shrunk his shoulders hard, quickly apologizing to the boss with bowed head and stooped posture.
"Keep an eye on them, don’t make any mistakes, I’ll go contact the other side." After his gaze swept briefly over the faces of Charlotte and Annie Anne, the boss turned and left the factory.
The two remaining kidnappers obeyed their boss’s instructions.
Although they were watching Charlotte and Annie Anne, in truth, the two won were already securely bound and had no ability to escape.
Thus, the kidnappers relaxed and moved to the side, picking up so partially drunk bottles of alcohol from the ground and started chatting softly.
"After all this fussing around, I wonder what we’ll end up with."
"I heard this is a big deal, should be worth at least this amount."
"Are you crazy, all this just for a woman..."
"Don’t underestimate won, sotis they’re the most crucial factor."
The two kidnappers huddled together, seemingly gesturing about sothing.
Charlotte had been closely watching the situation, hoping to glean so useful information from the kidnappers’ conversation.
At this mont, Charlotte was certain that the kidnappers were targeting Annie Anne.
However, Annie Anne hadn’t had any feuds with anyone in the entertainnt industry.
The only possibility was that these people wanted to use Annie Anne to threaten Oliver Hudson.
Charlotte looked at Annie Anne.
Annie was no fool; she seed to have realized this as well, making her expression sowhat complicated.
Then Charlotte suddenly recalled Annie Anne had said Oliver Hudson had people following her all along, which in hindsight might not be as Annie thought.
Nevertheless, Charlotte understood that even though she and Annie Anne were kidnapped and taken to an unknown location, the bodyguards would certainly notify Oliver Hudson as soon as they discovered the two were missing.
