392: Chapter 392: Special Event 392: Chapter 392: Special Event The hospital sent news that the husband’s life was saved, but whether he could wake up was still a question.

This baffled Su Hui, she had already seen photos of the couple, the wife was obviously physically weak, and the husband was robust.

Even if the wife suddenly went crazy and gained the upper hand in a fight, how could she harm a strong and sturdy man to such a degree?

Couldn’t the man run away?

By her own admission, Su Hui felt that even with her skill, it would take a considerable amount of effort to inflict that level of harm, which isn’t sothing an ordinary woman could do.

So what exactly was going on?

With these doubts, Su Hui went to et the wife and found her still trembling with fear.

Su Hui then asked, “So, tell , how did you manage to beat your husband so badly that he had to be rushed to the hospital?”

The wife imdiately shook her head: “I don’t know, I don’t know.”

Su Hui challenged: “Neighbours were outside at the ti, none of them saw any other people running out, aning there were only you two in the house.

Did you hit your husband with your own hands, don’t you know that?”

“I don’t know, I really don’t know, I fainted at that ti.

When I woke up, I saw my husband lying in a pool of blood, I don’t know what happened.” The wife spoke in a crying tone, as if she really didn’t do it.

Su Hui knitted her eyebrows slightly, feeling that the wife’s emotions were very unstable and nothing could be asked, simply asked a professional to check if the wife had any ntal problems.

However, after the expert’s assessnt, it was found that the wife had no ntal disorders, just like a normal person.

This was really strange, how could a normal, physically weak woman severely injure a tall, strong, and robust man, getting him admitted to hospital for ergency care, and he hasn’t awakened yet?

Su Hui strongly felt it was unlikely the wife did it, maybe soone else did.

However, according to the neighbours’ testimonies, and not from just one neighbour, they said they heard loud noises and ca to the door fearing that the wife was being mistreated too severely.

Just as they prepared to call the police, they heard the husband shout for help.

The voice-filled with despair, was particularly sad.

They waited for a while, then all was silent.

Just as the neighbours were puzzled, they heard a piercing scream from the wife, as if she had seen sothing terrifying, so they quickly dialled for help.

aning, what exactly happened in the house, apart from the couple, there were no other eyewitnesses.

Moreover, several neighbours were keeping watch outside, before Su Hui and her team arrived, no other suspicious people were seen entering or exiting.

Su Hui had already made checks, they had searched all possible hiding places in the house and found none.

They also checked the surveillance, there was no one climbing in or out of the windows.

From this, it can be inferred that at the ti of the incident, only this couple was in the house.

Unless the husband was foolish enough to abuse himself, the only person who could have so severely injured the husband was his wife.

The husband is unconscious and cannot speak.

The wife is unstable and nothing can be obtained from her.

In such a situation, all they can do is temporarily set it aside.

Su Hui felt that sothing might have been overlooked, hence she returned to the scene for a recheck.

She paced in the room, going around in circles, then closed her eyes and tried to feel, imagining herself as a wife who is enduring dostic violence, fear is all that’s left in her heart because she’s unable to resist.

“What kind of force, exploded within the wife.” Su Hui tried hard to imagine, but couldn’t no matter how much she racked her brains.

Therefore, she went to the balcony to survey the surroundings.

This was a twenty-story residential building, and this couple was residing on the seventeenth floor, which was quite high.

The road was outside with people coming and going; there was also another dwelling opposite.

If anyone dared to climb up from the outside window, they would definitely be seen.

She found nothing suspicious at all.

Just when Su Hui also thought the wife had to be the one who did it, she noticed the ss on the floor, besides the wreckage created during the couple’s fight, there were quite a few things that didn’t match.

Many cabinets in the room had been opened.

Why?

Clearly, there were many items inside that had nothing to do with the fight, why open them?

Su Hui noted several blood-stained towels on the floor.

The husband must have been severely beaten internally and bled profusely.

She believed that the wife must have tried to stop the bleeding with the towels.

“But…that’s not right.” Su Hui saw so many opened cabinets.

Among them, only one contained many towels.

Why were all cabinets opened?

The cabinet with towels had obviously been searched, proving soone was looking for a towel to stop the bleeding for the husband.

Suppose Su Hui was the wife who accidentally severely injured her husband.

Upon realising her grave mistake, she hurriedly searched for a towel to stop the bleeding.

But the wife should have known where the towels were kept in the house, why open so many cabinets?

One possibility was that the wife was entirely confounded at the ti and therefore couldn’t rember where the towels were kept.

The second possibility was that soone unfamiliar with the ho environnt did it, hence couldn’t know where to find the towels.

The amount of blood coming out of the husband’s mouth was too much; the towels in the bathroom weren’t enough.

Therefore she had to rummage through the cabinets to find more towels.

Since it was verified that no one else had entered or exited while the incident occurred, Su Hui could only believe the first possibility.

“But?” Su Hui still felt sothing wasn’t right, so things didn’t make logical sense.

Suddenly, Su Hui saw a damaged portion on the wall, and judging by the height, sothing had strikingly hit it with great impact, and it was quite big.

Su Hui felt that it must have been a person who hit the wall causing the damage, but how could it happen?

How could a tall, strong, and robust man be thrown into the air?

Even with all her training, she couldn’t do that, let alone the wife.

“There must be a problem.

If normal circumstances can’t explain it, then it only leaves the abnormal…” Su Hui’s brows furrowed deeply, after experiencing so many incidents, she knew that so people couldn’t be asured by common sense.

Originally, Su Hui planned to call Lin Xi to have a look.

Perhaps, she could discover sothing.

But on second thought, she decided against it.

Su Hui felt perhaps she was overthinking.

Maybe when the husband wakes up, or when the defensive line of the wife’s heart is broken down, the truth will be revealed.

Maybe things were quite simple after all?
