"I forgot to grab my shampoo."

Diana’s voice echoed from inside the bathroom.

This workers’ dormitory could accommodate 8 people, but Li Moyang definitely wouldn’t let Chen Ke and his companions cram into one room, so the dormitory had been modified to a three-person living space.

Lucina, Diana, and Wang Ailin lived together, Sleery and Xu Jing shared a room, and Parker, Chen Ke, and Li Moyang each had their own room. Staying here was mainly because there were thousands of workers around to provide cover. No one would think that this group would live alongside ordinary workers.

Wang Ailin was reading a book and, upon hearing Diana’s call, thought to get up to grab the shampoo, but Lucina was one step ahead. She had just finished 40 pull-ups and was about to line up for a shower, so she went ahead and got it.

Diana cracked the door open slightly and reached out her hand.

"Hmm... are you and Diana close?" Wang Ailin asked Lucina, who was glistening with sweat.

"Probably not as close as you are with her. What’s this about?" Lucina replied, puzzled.

"Nothing... It’s just that you two seem to be of the sa type," Wang Ailin said. She curled her legs into her oversized T-shirt and sat on the couch like a big rice dumpling.

"The sa type? What do you an?" Lucina asked with a smile.

"Build," Wang Ailin said.

"Oh? I don’t think I’m quite the sa model as her, girl. She’s in good shape, but there’s room for improvent," Lucina laughed.

"Um... can I see your... stomach?" Wang Ailin whispered, half her face hidden behind her book, her eyes fixed on Lucina’s figure.

Lucina didn’t quite understand what Wang Ailin ant but wasn’t bothered either and lifted her vest to show off her solid abs.

"Um... nice shape..." Wang Ailin blushed and whispered softly.

"Are you thinking of joining the fitness ranks? If you are, I can tailor a plan for you to shape up quickly. So strength training and aerobic exercises can help you burn fat and shape your muscles. Stick with it for a few months, and you could have a healthy and strong physique, becoming as sexy as the statues of Ancient Greek heroes," Lucina said with a laugh.

"Are you going to pass the shampoo or not?!" Diana yelled from the bathroom.

Lucina suddenly rembered this errand and stuffed the bottle into Diana’s hand. Diana’s hand withdrew back into the door, which then slamd shut.

"I think I’m good as I am... It’s enough that you guys are as sexy as statues," Wang Ailin said, the corners of her mouth lifting slightly under the cover of the book, seemingly fantasizing about so R-rated scenes.

Outside there was so commotion. Lucina moved to the window and parted the blinds, seeing many workers coming out of the dormitories, discussing among themselves and gathering towards the factory gates.

"Hey! What’s happening?" Lucina opened the window and called down to the workers.

"Don’t know, ma’am, seems like so people have arrived at the factory gates," a worker replied from below.

Most of these workers were local people from Opportunity City; they had been given jobs after Li Moyang opened his factory.

The city governnt of Opportunity City took Li Moyang’s factory venture very seriously, forgoing many inspections and restrictions, and gave him the green light directly, allowing him to hide the armor research and manufacturing site underneath the factory buildings.

The whole world was talking about the Red Sun phenonon that had gone on for six months, but under the influence of infection, most people had assud the existence of the Filthy Blood Clan.

"Boom!"

An explosion sound ca from the direction of the factory, causing the workers below to start panicking.

"What’s going on?!" Diana, still inside the bathroom, also heard it and opened the door a crack to ask Lucina.

"Don’t know. It looks like there’s been an explosion," Lucina said as she grabbed a jacket from the rack beside her, ready to head out.

"Wait! Chen Ke said we shouldn’t just go out," Diana advised.

"We’ll blend into the crowd and see what’s up. If the trouble’s not too big, we’ll leave it to the County Police," Lucina said.

Diana had nothing more to say and asked Lucina to wait a mont. She quickly dried off, got dressed, and then went out with Lucina, not forgetting to tell Wang Ailin to be careful before they left.

"Don’t make a sound no matter who knocks," Diana reminded.

Wang Ailin waved her hand.

The two descended the stairs, following the direction of the crowd toward the factory. Even though the sky was a brilliant red, the blaze and thick smoke from the factory explosion were still strikingly glaring.

The workers were anxious, so already pulling out phones to call for help, fearing the accident would cost them their jobs.

At the factory’s main entrance, a group clad in red robes had gathered. Holding up white signs, they were in the midst of a protest; the signs bore Li Moyang’s photo along with the words "Heretic in league with the Evil God" beneath.

"What is this...?" Diana was puzzled.

The security personnel at the entrance were already engaged in a fierce physical confrontation with them, the scene utterly chaotic. The burning workshop was a materials warehouse, and the red-robes were throwing gasoline bottles into the facility, igniting the glycerine stored there, which was ant for handling Spiritual Monster corpses, resulting in a massive explosion.

"Hand over your boss! He’s conspiring with the Evil God, destroying our world!"

"You idiots! You’re destroying my job!"

As the red-robed people yelled, the workers joined the ranks of the security staff, and all three groups tumbled into a fray, chaos reigned.

Diana and Lucina were uncertain of what to do, unsure whether to intervene or not. These were ordinary people, but it was clear they had been brainwashed by so religious faith, and all this was aid at Li Moyang.

"We should leave now, Lucina... Let’s leave this to the County Police and security." Diana tugged on Lucina’s sleeve. They were Witches, and if they acted, people could die.

"Lucky they didn’t bring guns." Lucina shook her head; there was no place for them to step in.

No sooner had they reached their dormitory than they saw Parker standing at the door, knocking.

"Open up! It’s Parker, I know soone’s inside..." Parker said while knocking.

"Parker, what’s going on?" Lucina stepped forward to ask.

"I ca to find you! Do you know what caused the explosion just now? And that slogan? Did Chen Ke tell you anything?" Parker sounded anxious.

"We don’t know, Chen Ke went to Langdon and hasn’t co back yet." Lucina shook her head.

They opened the door to find Aileen Wang sitting on the sofa, reading a book.

"See, I knew soone was here. I flew to the window and saw her, but she wouldn’t open the door," Parker complained.

"I have to pretend nobody’s ho, that’s what Diana told to do," Aileen Wang said.

"Where’s Li Moyang now?" Diana looked at Parker.

"He should still be downstairs. He’s been focused on researching his armor for the past six months; I barely get to see him," Parker said.

Silence followed.

The three had no solution to the current situation. Li Moyang was likely safe in the underground workshop; for secrecy, Li Moyang had only disclosed the entrance to the underground research facility to Chen Ke, leaving everyone else in the dark.

"I saw that soone already called the police, but all the people causing trouble are ordinary folks. Sothing’s not right," Diana said.

But with limited intelligence and clues, she also lacked sufficient information to make any judgnts.

Then, the dormitory door opened again, and Chen Ke walked in, behind him the Illusion Dream Center, where a bloodied person lay on the floor, and Chen Ke, was wiping blood off his hands.

All four turned to look at Chen Ke.

"He wouldn’t reveal much, but I still managed to dig so things out," Chen Ke said as he closed the door and faced the others.

"Weren’t you in Langdon?" Lucina asked.

"A group called the Savior School has set their sights on Li Moyang. Its mbers are ordinary people, but there’s Transcendent power supporting them from behind. I took Li Moyang’s private plane, which got hit by a passenger plane," Chen Ke said.

"Damn, that’s truly sinister..." Parker hissed.

"I have a feeling the other side doesn’t know where Li Moyang is yet, so they can only direct ordinary people to attack anything associated with him. It’s possible that the Lescott Building will also be targeted," Chen Ke said.

"So what can we do now?" Diana asked.

"Nothing, I’m going to see Li Moyang," Chen Ke said.
