Capítulo 765: Chapter 764: The Enemy of Humanity
“What is going on?”
The aircraft maintenance workers, having narrowly escaped danger, were not only relieved to have survived but also amazed by the strange Ti Magic that had just occurred.
Shen Yun had never seen Chen Ke use Ti Ability before, but she was ntally prepared, and although slightly surprised, her expression soon returned to normal.
Fire engines and airport ergency rescue teams rushed towards the crashed planes, ready to carry out firefighting and rescue operations. It was more of a recovery of bodies than a rescue since there were no survivors.
Chen Ke, watching the burning planes, suddenly rembered sothing.
He had activated four fragnts of the Blasphemous Dagger and learned two new tricks, one for Ti Rewind and one for Ti Absorb.
If Ti Rewind really worked as the na implied… then Chen Ke might be able to take the masked man out and question him.
Shen Yun saw Chen Ke walking towards the burning planes and asked, “Mr. Chen?”
“You go back first. Li Moyang will probably send soone to pick you up. I have so things to handle,” Chen Ke replied.
Four fire trucks stopped 20 ters away from the wreckage to avoid the intense heat of the flas, shooting high-pressure water jets at the plane. Charred bodies littered the ground around them, although they had died before the crash.
The flas were fierce, and the water jets from the fire trucks were ineffective, as useless as little kids peeing into a steel furnace.
A few people saw Chen Ke approaching and wanted to stop him, but the next second, they froze in place.
Chen Ke activated the Ti Domain, which covered both the crashed plane and the firefighting team; the water jets froze mid-air like icicles, and the flas stopped flickering.
He stepped on the black skeleton of the plane, dressed in An Helei’s requiem attire, and entered the charred cabin, staring at the paused disaster, beginning to use his Ti Rewind ability for the first ti.
Ti began to flow again, Chen Ke could see the flas start to flicker again, but everything was moving in the reverse direction.
The flas gradually withdrew from the cabin, small parts and fragnts moving back to their original places from the direction they had burst forth, the ground-based firefighters and rescue teams moved backward towards the airport terminal, and many charred bodies flew back into the cabin, sitting down in their seats, the burns on their bodies also disappearing.
Chen Ke felt the plane slowly moving, rising backward into the air, everything returning to the mont before it touched down. Li Moyang’s private plane was also restored to its original state, the nose of the comrcial plane returned to normal, and the hooded, masked man stood once again before Chen Ke.
Ti stopped again, he stepped forward, grabbed the masked man’s arm, crushed his soul, and opened a Teleportation Gate to the Illusion Dream Center.
He only had a mont, but with the gate in front of him, it was enough.
Chen Ke ended the Ti Domain, and the next mont, the masked man, looking astonished at the armored figure before him, was clueless.
Chen Ke brought the man into the Illusion Dream Center, and almost simultaneously, the plane crashed into the ground again, breaking into several pieces…
“Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!” the masked man scread, his body and mind still stuck in the mont of the crash, shaking intensely, Chen Ke heard not fear in his yell, but a climax-like pleasure and a certain twisted pride.
He threw the masked man onto the ground and stood there watching him.
“Ah… ah… what… what is this place…? This is…” the masked man looked around, the landscape of the Illusion Dream Center was bizarre and distorted, a huge white creature on the side playing with an SUV, paying no attention to the two of them.
Chen Ke remained silent, his helt concealing his face, his pitch-black armor giving a mysterious and terrifying impression—exactly as he intended.
“I understand… I… I have completed my mission, I am sanctified? Are you… are you the Herald Knight?! Are you here to take to the Millennium Kingdom?! Right? Right?” The masked man exclaid ecstatically.
Chen Ke didn’t respond. Intentionally ignoring the man, he moved behind him, taking a aningful breath, his muffled breath sounding through the helt.
“I did it, I have no regrets, I never regret! I showed my greatest sincerity, right? If you are the Herald Knight, please respond to ! As I proceed to the Millennium Kingdom, to enjoy eternal bliss,” the man crawled forward, lifting his head eagerly.
Chen Ke realized that he was just an fanatic, a re pawn manipulated by others. He kicked the man over and stepped on his chest, shedding all his armor and revealing his true identity.
The cultist, recognizing Chen Ke, was utterly horrified, clearly aware of Chen Ke’s background.
“You have co to hell,” Chen Ke said.
“It’s you! It’s actually you! Enemy of humanity! The man who will destroy the future!” the man said in fear.
“Enemy of humanity? That’s quite an accusation. What’s your story?!” Chen Ke asked in a deep voice.
“I will not yield to you! I bear the mission to save the world, and you and your friends will be stopped in the near future! Even if you capture , you cannot change that fact,” the masked man retorted harshly.
“Committing terror attacks that jeopardize the lives of all passengers—is this your way of saving the world?” Chen Ke mocked.
“Salvation cos with sacrifice!” the masked man argued.
“Let’s see what kind of person can utter such shaless words,” Chen Ke said as he ripped off his mask, revealing a face that even Chen Ke frowned upon seeing.
Bald-headed with his nose chopped off leaving only nostrils, his lips cut away to expose his bare teeth; only the eyes remained intact. His face and forearms were covered with indecipherable runes.
Chen Ke tossed the mask aside. The man quickly crawled to retrieve and re-apply it.
“I have endured much pain… My mind has passed the test! Our faith is imnsely strong, you fake god! When we eradicate you, the future generations of humanity will forever curse you and seal your na…” the masked man ranted on.
“Tell what force is behind you, or I’ll let you know what hell really is,” Chen Ke threatened, summoning the Blasphemous Dagger, standing before him with a nacing look.
“Your deeds… will only hasten my entry into the Millennium Kingdom…” the masked man trembled as he spoke.
“There is no Millennium Kingdom, no heaven or hell here. Here, there is only ,” Chen Ke crouched and sneered.
“God… give courage… to face this darkest shade of humanity… I am willing to sacrifice my life for you…” the masked man prayed, appealing to sothing nonexistent.
“Let’s see if your god will co to help you,” Chen Ke said coldly.
Using the dagger, he sliced open the masked man’s clothes to reveal that his whole body was covered in various runes. The man was eerily thin, his body full of scars from cruel torture.
This man was just an ordinary person brainwashed by a cult, physically and ntally abused beyond human endurance, clinging only to the promised “Millennium Kingdom” and “eternal bliss” promised by his leaders.
The man’s words revealed the doctrines and goals of the organization behind him, all targeted at Chen Ke and his group.
