Hearing this, Diana finally relaxed, the flas on her slowly extinguishing. Chen Ke imdiately went to Lucina’s side, picked her up, and checked the wound at her waist, which looked like it had been viciously stabbed with a dagger and then cut open.
Diana hugged Wang Ailin, wanting to check if she was injured. Wang Ailin shook her head without speaking.
"What happened on your side after we fell?" Chen Ke asked.
"After you fell down, we jumped down too... but we didn’t find you. Then we found ourselves in Lucina’s ho..." Diana sighed.

Coming out of the corridor, they found themselves in a round underground central hall connected by many passages, with a tower in the center reaching up to the ceiling.

"How are we going to get out of here?" Diana asked.
"There’s a vehicle lane underneath the circular prison that’s used for transporting large containnt items," Xu Jing said at this mont. "The tunnel is 40 kiloters long, stretching from underground all the way to the surface, but we might not be able to get a car."
"I can help with that... After Lin Yaying brought here, they granted high-level access," Wang Ailin said.
"You just happen to have car keys?" Diana asked.
"Foundation vehicles don’t need keys, just authorized access to start," Xu Jing said with a smile, as if laughing at a country bumpkin.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Lead the way," Diana glared at Xu Jing.
Mobile teams that had been cleared out seed to appear from nowhere, fighting and retreating. Led by Xu Jing, they reached the specialized parking lot for the Foundation’s containnt transfer vehicles, which ca in many sizes, from large ten-wheelers to small four-wheelers. Since there were five of them, Chen Ke and the others chose a pickup truck.
Xu Jing unfolded an electromagnetic force field, and the deford mobile teams were blocked at the parking lot’s entrance like mosquitos zapped by a bug zapper, as Chen Ke also set up a Ti Position behind the electromagnetic field to block incoming bullets.
Wang Ailin patted the car door, and after a brief authorization, it imdiately popped open. She got into the driver’s seat, the only one who could start and drive the truck.
Chen Ke placed the unconscious Lucina in the back seat and asked Diana to sit in the back to protect her. Then he got into the truck bed and set up the Gatling gun there.
"Let’s go!" he shouted at Xu Jing, who was holding the rear.
The truck started, and Xu Jing shot out a fierce arc of electricity to create an opening, then turned and flew towards the vehicle, grabbing the rear rack to hang on outside. She used the electromagnetic field to form a bulletproof area, ensuring the driving Wang Ailin wasn’t shot dead in the car.
The pickup drove along the 40-kiloter underground tunnel, with the mobile teams swarming behind like locusts. They were flying close to the tunnel, squeezing against each other. So mobile team mbers were even squished to the ground by their own, rolled over by those that followed, like a horde of steel puppets or cha zombies, fearless of pain and death.
Chen Ke pulled the trigger, the Gatling gun roared, and Divine Blood Bullets burst into the iron stream, exploding into flas and blood mist. Xu Jing also unleashed Lightning, taking down many in one sweep.
Inside the driver’s seat, Diana was stroking Lucina’s hair. The other woman still hadn’t woken up, but the wound on her waist and abdon had healed. Diana laid Lucina’s head on her thigh, her left hand gently placed on her abdon, feeling Lucina’s heartbeat and the rise and fall of her body with each breath.
"It looks like the gate ahead is closed..." Wang Ailin said worriedly. The display screen in the middle of the dashboard flashed a warning, suggesting that a white line on the screen was cut by a red one.
Diana leaned forward from her seat, looking ahead, asking, "Can you open it?"

Wang Ailin nodded.
Diana flung open the car door and shouted at Chen Ke, "Chen Ke! There’s no way forward!"

"There’s no way forward!" Diana called again.

"How far have we got out?" Chen Ke asked.

"Hold tight, don’t slow down," Chen Ke said, pulling out a soul, ready to open the gate.
Diana buckled her seatbelt and held Lucina tight. Xu Jing didn’t know what Chen Ke was planning but instinctively leaped into the truck bed, holding on to the edges tightly.

Startled, Wang Ailin stomped on the accelerator, and the SUV sped off the cliff. Xu Jing had leaped down before the vehicle plumted, rolling on the ground few tis with a stifled groan before getting up. She saw a giant white creature with seven eyes lying on the edge of the cliff.
The giant glanced at her, and then a hand reached up from below the cliff, catching the still-accelerating SUV and flipping it onto the ground.
