Capítulo 759: Chapter 758: Overwhelming Intelligence

Chen Ke pushed open the door at the end of the hallway, revealing an even longer corridor, yet the environnt and atmosphere were markedly different. The walls on both sides of the gray-toned corridor were equipped with side lights near the floor, making the environnt sowhat dark, relying solely on the faint light underfoot to barely see the path.

“Wow, this is the containnt facility beneath the institute…” Wang Ailin recognized it imdiately, having worked there for several years.

Chen Ke glanced back; the door had disappeared, and they stood in the middle of the corridor.

If they didn’t find a way to break the cycle, given Chen Ke’s experiences, they would eventually succumb to a replay of so mory.

Wang Ailin followed behind Chen Ke, both treading carefully as the air around them suddenly beca unbearably hot and dry.

This abnormal rise in temperature caused the sweat and blood on the skin of Chen Ke and Wang Ailin to imdiately dry up, emitting a foul odor, and their clothes turned stiff.

At the end of the corridor, a blinding white light suddenly burst forth, and a white sphere of light ca hurtling toward them.

“Damn, a holy sphere…” Chen Ke recognized it instantly.

He imdiately dropped a ti bomb on the spot and covered Wang Ailin with it. While the ti stop didn’t affect those beyond ti, it still physically blocked flying objects and solidified the environnt within its range. At least, the area where the ti bomb exploded no longer increased in temperature.

The holy sphere flew slowly. Chen Ke shouted to Wang Ailin not to move, then leaped out himself and fired a Spiritual Power Crystal Gun at it. The energies collided and exploded, lting and deforming the walls and floors with high heat.

Amidst the dazzling light explosion, a Demon leaped out, punching Chen Ke in the chest, shattering his ribcage and sending him flying.

The clone reappeared, this ti stronger, now able to use Chen Ke’s Demon Transformation and holy sphere skills.

Wang Ailin watched as Chen Ke flew over her head, landing at the other end of the corridor. The clone, in its Demon Form, summoned a Moonlight Greatsword and approached Wang Ailin with heavy steps. Even within the domain of the ti bomb, it was unaffected and raised its sword, preparing to strike down.

Chen Ke had turned into a Demon by then and rushed over with a Moonlight Greatsword, stabbing at the clone’s neck. The two Moonlight Greatswords clashed, emitting a “clang” sound.

The clone grabbed Chen Ke by the neck and slamd him against the wall, creating a large dent. It then retracted its Moonlight Greatsword, transford out the Blasphemous Dagger, and started stabbing at Chen Ke’s side.

Chen Ke was prepared, headbutting forward. The horn on his head pierced the clone’s left eye. He grabbed the lower half of the clone, executing a wrestling throw to bring it down, then mounted it, furiously hamring punches on the clone’s face, cracking the unidentifiable material of the floor.

“Boom!”

The clone suddenly snapped its fingers, causing a burst of Spiritual Energy that blasted Chen Ke into the air. His back slamd hard against the six-ter-high ceiling before falling back down.

The clone summoned the Moonlight Greatsword again, stabbing at the falling Chen Ke. Mid-air, Chen Ke counterattacked with a burst of Spiritual Energy, knocking the clone to the ground. Then he pulled out the Moonlight Greatsword, plunging it into the clone’s belly as he descended from the sky.

Chen Ke stepped on the clone’s neck, then thoroughly thrust the blade in, and slicing sideways, he cut open the muscular abdon of the Demon. He ground the blade over the spine, slicing the clone in two.

The clone reverted to its normal state, its body cut in two, lying gasping on the ground.

Already cut in half, recovery would take so ti… Chen Ke had never experienced this kind of injury, but he felt that killing the clone might make its next appearance sooner.

He turned, grabbed Wang Ailin, and ran towards the other end without uttering a word. They ran along the long corridor for a long while as the walls began to change again.

This ti, the walls, initially gray industrial material, turned into the rusted hull of a ship.

“Damn, Conrad’s ship… it’s getting more and more complicated,” Chen Ke cursed.

But the environnt remained a corridor; only the wall had changed, and above was an impenetrable darkness, as if they had entered into a nightmare.

“It’s not all bad, look, the environnt is changing, but the basic structure is fixed, whatever is trapping us is getting more careless,” Wang Ailin said.

“What does this an? Is it losing patience?” Chen Ke asked.

“I don’t know, maybe soone is interfering with it?” Wang Ailin wasn’t sure either.

During their conversation, a huge tentacle of an octopus suddenly pierced through the cabin, blocking their path, and a large amount of blood water gushed from the damaged area, quickly subrging their ankles.

The suckers on the tentacle were enormous and very dense, unbearable to look at even with a re glance.

“Is this sothing… that you have seen before?” Wang Ailin asked.

“I guess so.” Chen Ke summoned the Moonlight Greatsword, intending to chop off the tentacle.

He knew his strength was not enough, so he transford into a demon, gripped the sword hilt tightly with both hands, and with a loud yell, he fiercely slashed at the tentacle.

However, the Moonlight Greatsword couldn’t slice through the flesh wall in front of him; the surface of the tentacle was slippery and had a gel-like feel, akin to chopping a tire, and using too much force might even cause it to bounce back.

anwhile, the clone sohow dragged its half-body towards them, taking on the massive white form… It lay on the ground with seven eyes glowing in green, its enormous body squeezing into the hallway, reaching forward with one hand, moving by grabbing the floor.

“That’s… that’s it! The deity that can manipulate ti!” Wang Ailin exclaid excitedly.

“That’s a fake.” Chen Ke said.

He walked over to Wang Ailin, leaving a part of the sword hilt extended towards her.

“What are you doing? I don’t have the strength like you do,” Wang Ailin said.

“I need to borrow your brain.” Chen Ke replied.

The Moonlight Greatsword was a magical sword that required intelligence attribute and ca with a secret skill called “Moonlight Torrent.”

Since Chen Ke’s intelligence hadn’t t the requirents of the greatsword, he had never used this ability.

“Hold on below.” Chen Ke advised.

“Are you going to chop it?” Wang Ailin asked.

“No…” Chen Ke shook his head.

The clone would regenerate endlessly; struggling with it was a futile effort. He needed to use Wang Ailin’s intelligence to chop off the octopus’s tentacle.

“Aim for that… co on, grab the hilt,” Chen Ke instructed. He raised the Moonlight Greatsword up, allowing Wang Ailin to grasp the lower half of the hilt.

When Wang Ailin’s hand touched the hilt, the Moonlight Greatsword suddenly burst out with a dazzling blue glow, a hundred tis brighter than before. The light wasn’t blinding; instead, it dispersed as energy into the surrounding space, with nurous blue specks twinkling like stars in the universe.

Amidst these star-like glimrs, a gentle blue energy swirled from the blade, enveloping the two like mist, as if they were bathing in the tranquil moonlight. Whether it was an illusion or not, within this serene blue radiance, all negative emotions vanished—urgency, restlessness, anxiety, and anger—all replaced by calmness.

This was why the sword was nad the Moonlight.

The sword’s inherent skill, Moonlight Torrent, no longer displayed “Insufficient intelligence,” but now showed “Excessive intelligence…”

Chen Ke attempted to use this ability. All the surrounding light suddenly converged into the blade, restoring the surrounding light and shadows to normal, while the concentrated energy began to make the greatsword tremble unstably.

“Aim… don’t let go!” Chen Ke told Wang Ailin.

He swung the sword downwards; the sensation wasn’t like that of a greatsword. It felt as if he had swung down a building. Just before him, a surge of blue waves exploded, like the colossal waves of the sea. The blue energy wave whooshed out, slicing the octopus’s tentacle into two halves, and the magic power cleaved through the walls, making the entire space beco unstable.
