Chen Ke and the others retreated to the Illusion Dream Center. Aside from Chen Ke, everyone appeared extrely exhausted.

Lucina leaned against a chair, let out a long sigh, and rubbed her waist. She frowned slightly, lifted her vest and saw that a large area of the white bandage had been dyed red with blood. The wound that was almost healed had cracked open again due to the intense movent.

"Do you want to re-bandage it?" Chen Ke asked.

Before, when they were preparing supplies, they had specifically allocated so to the Illusion Dream Center, stocking up on a batch of simple dical tools, drinking water, towels, and chocolate, etc.

"No need to bother," Lucina shook her head. She grabbed a bottle of mineral water, glugged down a big gulp, then tore off the bandage on the side of her waist and rinsed the wound with water.

Diana was exhausted. She reached her limit long ago and walked towards the bedroom, leaning on the wall. Just as she entered, Chen Ke heard the clangs and clatters of the armor reverting to Holy Diamonds and dropping to the floor.

"If I had known there’d be this fiasco tonight, when you transferred the power of Fla to , I should not have shied away," Lucina said to Chen Ke as if feeling sowhat guilty.

In the recent days of conflicts, Lucina was pushed to her tight limits by injuries, exhaustion, and several near-death experiences. As the only ordinary person in the team, Lucina was also on the verge of her limit.

"Li Moyang is right, we need ti to rest. After all, ti has no concept here, right? Why don’t we stay for a few months or a year or two? Have a good rest?" Parker also suggested.

"We need to do more than just rest... we need to think carefully about what to do next. And after all we’ve gone through, I’ve suddenly realized... shouldn’t we conduct so targeted battle training?" Chen Ke spoke up suddenly.

"Battle training? Like what?" Lucina asked.

"Look, each of us has so strange tricks... but every ti a battle starts, we all fight independently, rushing up and facing the enemy alone; we’re not acting like a team," Chen Ke said.

"Diana and I coordinated quite well," Parker said.

"That’s not enough. You only worked with her once before getting sucked into the vacuum cleaner," Chen Ke reminded.

"How was I supposed to know there was a vacuum cleaner there?!" Parker spread his hands.

"I really want to help you, Chen Ke, but the enemies we face, I don’t know how to approach them. I don’t have a gun, and my fists don’t do much either," Lucina shook her head.

"Lucina, you just hide, the three of us can heal instantaneously, but you’re different. Look at your waist," Chen Ke said.

Lucina wanted to argue, but Chen Ke was right. She couldn’t provide substantial help to Chen Ke in terms of either offensive or defensive power and might even beco a burden.

Chen Ke noticed Lucina’s haggard look. He picked up a white towel from the side, wet it with a bottle of mineral water, and then sat down next to Lucina to clean the bloodstains from her wound.

"You should rest a bit. Just like Diana, have a good sleep," Chen Ke said softly.

"Heh, heh, heh... and co to kill while I’m half-awake and half-asleep? Is that your new trick?" Lucina smiled.

"If I covered you in a layer of strawberry jam, I bet the flavor would be great," Chen Ke chuckled.

"Enough! That’s enough from both of you! No more cheesy flirting!" Parker couldn’t stand it anymore.

"Back to the matter at hand... our objective is to collect all the green Holy Diamonds, you rember, don’t you?" Chen Ke tossed the bloodied towel onto the table and sat up straighter.

"What about Sleery?" Lucina asked.

"Li Moyang will keep an eye on her. It’s not that easy to find her now... after all, she is the Illusion Creation Witch..." Chen Ke said.

"Should I go call Diana?" Parker asked.

Chen Ke shook his head. Diana was too tired, and he didn’t want her to drag herself back into the fray with these dangerous beings while in that condition.

"This matter is very important to both and this world, but as long as we stay here, it is not urgent... The images Diana saw earlier are our only clue. In fact, I have so impression of that image. If we are lucky, I have a rough idea of where the second and third Holy Diamonds might be," Chen Ke said.

"You know? Where are they?" Lucina asked.

"One is in the year 1859, and the other... is in the hands of a witch. This witch is a mber of the company that attacked the manor," Chen Ke said.

Parker pinched his chin, his expression sowhat stern.

"Chen Ke, why do you have such a speculation?" Lucina asked.

"Witches can activate the green Holy Diamond; they can see images of another diamond. Li Moyang and I went to et with the company. The witch that received us recognized ," Chen Ke said.

"Li Moyang took you to see the company’s people? What was he thinking?" Lucina said angrily.

"He had his own plans, although they failed, but I admit he was brave," Chen Ke said.

"What about the other one? You said it’s in the year 1859? Have you been there before?" Parker asked.

"I have been to the year 1859 with the people from the Foundation to do so things... It was a long ti ago. Diana told the other green Holy Diamond was in the hands of a woman with white hair, wearing a Hunter’s tricorn hat with a feather stuck in it. I have seen a similar woman in 1859," Chen Ke said.

"It sounds like the one in 1859 might be easier to find. Perhaps we should go for that one first?" Parker suggested.

"I was thinking the sa, but let tell you, 1859 isn’t necessarily easier... If that woman really is who I think she is, she won’t be much less troubleso than the witch from the company... but I have friends there," Chen Ke said.

"I will go with you," Parker said.

"I want to go too," Lucina said.

"No, you two stay here," Chen Ke refused them both.

"I can understand your refusal of Ms. Lucina because she is injured, but why won’t you let go?" Parker questioned.

"That era is complicated. As the Foundation says, it is a ti when Spiritual Energy had not yet beco a global consensus, and it was during the industrial revolution. Even being seen by people from that ti with an artifact from 100 years later... history could undergo dramatic changes. Plus... I may need to deal with people from the Foundation. If it’s not necessary, I don’t want those on their side to know about your existence," Chen Ke said.

"Hmm... I understand, are you afraid they would capture to blackmail you?" Lucina asked.

"That’s exactly what I’m worried about," Chen Ke said.

"Alright, but you know, if you run into trouble over there, all you have to do is open a door, and I’ll rush over to help you," Parker said.

"Thank you, Parker," Chen Ke nodded.

"When are we going?" Lucina asked.

"No rush, since ti here is unlimited. We were too hasty before. This ti I want to slow down the pace a bit... We’ll start by becoming a true team first..." Chen Ke said.

If the Illusion Dream Center had sunrises and sunsets, then dozens of days and nights must have already passed here. The three of them explored how to use their abilities more efficiently, even how to cooperate and produce synergistic effects, and they clarified their roles within the team.

Diana currently could be considered the DPS role in Chen Ke’s team and the only ans of area attack. Her wide-ranging Fla’s high temperature and intense heat vision were enough to incinerate most enemies, and she was also the only mber of the team who could control her flight path at ease, though her flight speed and altitude were quite limited.

Chen Ke was the pinpoint DPH on the team, as well as the only ans of control and restraint. Any attack-type Spiritual Ability could be amplified by the Life Engine, and a shot from the Crystal Soul Gun could be enhanced to a terrifying level. However, Chen Ke was no longer satisfied with using just this one Skill. The Ti Bomb and Future Vision were his strongest area control Skills, and used well, they could ensure victory with a single move.

Parker was in a more awkward position; he possessed no offensive power of his own... Yet, combined with Diana’s Fla, he could transform into a deadly storm. However, as the second mber of the team capable of flight, his flying ability couldn’t last too long, and reaching a certain altitude could lead to a loss of control and he was extrely afraid of any siphon effect.

Lucina, for the ti being, could not join the team, which frustrated her... She began to harbor so resentnt towards Sleery, but that didn’t help the situation.

Once the strengths and roles of all the team mbers had been clarified, a thod of team combat similar to that of video gas gradually ford in Chen Ke’s mind. Sotis, just a little creativity was enough to play a variety of tricks.
