The pale-faced young master now wore a strange smile on his face and was muttering words under his breath, when suddenly a mysterious power enveloped him.
At that mont, a noise ca from the door, and in ca the maid Chun Tao with a joyful expression on her face, only to see her young master looking odd.
"What are you doing, Young Master? Hasn’t the physician told you to rest?" she asked with a smile, her voice filled with warmth.
From the first day she was designated as the personal maid to the young master, she had been preparing to beco a concubine. Therefore, she always acted as if she were the lady of the house, which was exactly why she was so anxious upon seeing the innocent and lovely Dong i.
However, her smile quickly faded. The young master, who looked extrely weak, suddenly turned his head, wearing a sinister smile that was chilling to the bone.
"Young Master, what’s wrong with you?"
Under his gaze, Chun Tao felt as if she had beco prey, overco by a sense of helplessness and despair. She asked with so fear, her intuition telling her that sothing was very wrong with the young master.
"Chun Tao, would you do anything for ?" the young master of the Chen family asked with a creepy smile, making this once delicate-looking man seem sowhat fierce.
Despite the fear in her heart, Chun Tao quickly nodded and said, "Of course, I am willing to do anything for you, Young Master."
At that mont, she began to fantasize that perhaps her young master had finally seen sense and wanted to give her a proper status.
But to her surprise, he let out a piercing laugh and added, "Even if it ans giving up your own life."
For so reason, Chun Tao felt that an imnse malevolence had completely engulfed her, and her legs began to tremble uncontrollably.
"Young Master, what do you an?" Chun Tao asked, shivering.
"Exactly as it sounds, are you willing to die for ?" the young master asked in an eerie tone.
Enveloped in trendous fear, the ambitious maid slowly backed away, murmuring softly, "No, please don’t!"
"Indeed, the so-called sincerity of mortals is always deceitful," sighed the Flood Dragon regretfully, though his voice held a hint of disappointnt.
Then he turned to stare fixedly at Chun Tao, who was retreating. His eyes had lost all human emotion, resembling the most heartless predator in the world.
"Well then, let’s start with you for nourishnt!"
No sooner had he spoken than Chun Tao felt a sharp pain in her stomach as if sothing was about to burst forth.
The intense pain made this human woman scream in agony. Unfortunately, none of these sounds could escape the house.
Chun Tao watched in horror as countless disgusting maggots crawled out of her body, the white larvae squirming about before gradually growing transparent wings, resembling oversized green houseflies.
Once free, the flies buzzed as they took to the air, seemingly carrying a mystical power that further dizzied her mind.
More and more maggots burst forth from her body, transforming into revolting green flies, and Chun Tao’s life slowly ca to an end, the monsters feeding on her life and soul.
The flies hatched and buzzed happily around the Flood Dragon.
The Flood Dragon then opened his mouth wide, allowing the flies to fly in, after which his pale face started to regain so color.
"Not enough, still not enough. It’s just a pity you shouldn’t have co at this ti; I was actually thinking of keeping you for a few more days," the Flood Dragon coldly glanced at what was left of Chun Tao—a re human skin—expressing his regret.
After all, compared to the emotionally oblivious female demons, Chun Tao’s figure and serving skills were indeed superior. He had truly considered bringing her to serve in his Cave Mansion.
"Next, it’s that little girl," he murmured to himself.
The Flood Dragon, with just a thought, stimulated the insect eggs within Dong i.
Unaware of the impending life or death crisis, Dong i lay fast asleep. Inside her belly, a tiny insect egg began to hatch, and a white maggot started wiggling its creamy-white head gleefully, in search of delicious food.
But at that mont, the dicine Dong i had drunk began to take effect. It changed into a strange essence, which had until then been lying quietly inside her.
The mont the egg hatched, this energy suddenly seed to co alive, frenziedly rushing towards the location of the maggot.
The newly hatched maggot hadn’t had the chance to rejoice when it sensed this odd force. Its limited intelligence told it that this power seed to be its natural enemy.
Without the slightest hesitation, the maggot turned tail and prepared to flee, but the mysterious essence seed to beco excited and chased after it madly.
The two energies began a wild chase inside Dong i’s body. If the little girl hadn’t been in a deep sleep, she might have already been in unbearable pain from the commotion.
However, having ingested an entire bowl of dicine, the strange essence that converged from all directions soon corralled the maggot.
