Lette sat with his back to the dining hall, basking in the sun on the corridor.
Lilith leaned against the window, teasing his ear with her hair, "What are you thinking about?"
"I was thinking, since Emily is an all-elent Mage, the original seven witches might not have been divided by elents.
Initially, I thought she was the Wind Witch, then I learned about the Blood Witch and the Light Witch.
This led into a mistaken assumption.
Co to think of it, Elental Mages are just one branch of the broader category of mages.
There are also Sorcerers, Alchemists, Blood Sacrifice Sorcerers, and Druids.
Their witch plan must be grander, not limited to magic elents.
That was my habitual thinking."
Buzz!
A magic array unfolded within the dining hall, and Emily, covered in wounds, fell to the ground. As the blessing’s light on her body shone, she suddenly sat up and gasped for air.
Lette didn’t turn his head, "How much ti this ti?"
Lilith calculated briefly, "Thirty-eight seconds, a great improvent. I think that’s enough for today."
"Is that all?"
"The problem is, she has no clothes left to change into."
On this point, Lette was also helpless. His Divine Arts could preserve Emily’s life and restore her physical injuries.
But when it ca to the clothes on her body, there was nothing he could do.
Of course, it was only after Emily was first teleported back that Lette realized this problem.
To avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, he chose to sit in the corridor and let Lilith handle the supervision.
Lette sighed, "Well... alright then."
"Waaa!!!! Wuuu wuuu wuuu... you heartless madman! Wuuu wuuu..."
Upon hearing "alright then," the battle-weary Emily finally burst into tears.
Her emotions were truly complicated.
Learning she was an all-elent Mage should have been a joyous thing.
Becoming an all-elent Mage was the dream of every Elental Mage!
But now, being an all-elent Mage ant that the challenge of withstanding one hundred seconds in the Wind Elent Subspace extended to all Elent Subspaces!
Moreover, according to Lette, there was a primary plane where all attribute Elental Elves existed waiting for her!
At that mont, Emily’s heart was shattered!
But the collapse only led to one more encounter where she was defeated by the Elental Elves.
This heartless man even specifically altered the blessing, allowing her to use only Wind Magic in the Wind Elent Subspace!
How could a human possibly compete with Elental Elves in Wind Magic? Especially in the Wind Elent Subspace!
Heartless! Absolutely mad!
But after her hysterical outburst, Emily gradually cald down.
She also admitted that in this less than a prayer ti, her understanding of the Wind Elent, her use of Wind Magic, and even her comprehension of the Wind Law had improved by leaps and bounds!
"Have you cried enough?"
Lette turned around and leaned on the dining hall window, smiling at her, "Many human behaviors are poor imitations of nature, magic included.
Have you noticed that the attacks and defenses that those Elental Creatures use instinctively have similarities with your magic?"
Emily wiped her tears, "Indeed... it is true."
"So, they are your best teachers."
Lette stood up from the windowsill, "Didn’t you say you didn’t want to be a pampered lady living in peace, nor a helmsman who follows orders?
Instead, you want to be a captain who faces life’s storms head-on!
Why, have you collapsed at the first sign of rough seas?"
Upon hearing this, Emily struggled to stand up again. Though her limbs still trembled, her gaze was much more resolute.
"Who said I’ve collapsed? This captain! I’m determined! Open the teleportation portal! Let’s go again!"
"Re-port! Cap-tain!"
Lette smirked while gesturing, "Please stop shaking; your clothes are already in tatters. If you keep shaking, you’ll end up completely exposed.
I personally appreciate your Venetian blind-style captain’s uniform, but this is the Holy City, where the folk are conservative. You’d better keep that in mind."
"Ahh!!!!!"
Emily let out a sharp scream, then, like the wind, dashed to the living room and raced back to her room on the second floor, leaving Lette outside chuckling continuously.
Lilith curled her lips disdainfully, "Alright! Look how pleased you are with yourself!"
"What’s wrong? Miss Lilith, who has nothing to flaunt?"
Lilith suddenly pouted with tearful eyes, spreading her hands to gather energy as several sealing spells began to surface on her body!
"Waaa!"
Lette panicked imdiately, flipping in through the window and dashing over to embrace Lilith, firmly pressing down her hands.
"No, no, no! I was wrong! I’ll never joke about this again!"
"Let go! I’m breaking the seal today! I won’t tolerate this from you anymore!"
"I’ll give you a bag! A whole bag of Dark Magic Crystals!"
"What kind of person do you think I am!?"
"Ten bags!"
"Oh, you should have said that earlier, you charr!"
Watching Lilith gleefully lower her hands, Lette suddenly felt he had fallen for a trick.
"Hiss!!! Sothing’s not right! Was this all part of your plan? You never intended to return to the Demon Realm!"
"Of course! Being with you is fun and free, why would I go back to the Demon Realm?"
With a playful wink, Lilith tossed a flirtatious glance at Lette. Even when sealed, an Enchanting Demon is still enchanting.
Lette covered his face in frustration, "I’ve hunted geese all my life, but today the goose bites back! But ten bags is too much!
Let’s make a deal, three bags!"
"Is this a discount? This is more like cutting off a limb above the knee!"
"Then, split it at the waist! Half and half!"
"Alright~!"
Lilith wriggled out of Lette’s embrace and tapped the tip of his nose, "I’m not asking you to provide them all at once; pay back slowly over ti.
Guests are arriving at the gate, better go greet them."
As Lilith pointed out, Lette noticed two strong energy surges at the manor’s entrance.
"It seems I’ve let my guard down recently... is it because I feel more relaxed back here in the Holy City?"
Recomposing himself, Lette quickly headed to the manor entrance.
Outside the gate, stood two figures, one in black and the other in red.
"I didn’t expect both archbishops to arrive together. Fortunately, I didn’t bet on it, or I’d have lost badly.
So, how long have you both been here?"
The Black robed Archbishop Cadwen let out a cold snort, "Not long. We just arrived and coincidentally heard so girl’s screams."
Lette chuckled awkwardly, "Don’t mind those details! Now that you’re here, let’s go inside for a chat, shall we?"
Unexpectedly, the Red Archbishop waved his hand, "No rush, no rush, there’s soone else coming."
"Soone else?"
Lette paused briefly; among the Three Great Sanctuaries, the White Archbishop position is temporarily held by the Pope, and he certainly wouldn’t co.
So, who could it possibly be, with both archbishops waiting here?
As Lette pondered, a series of rapid hoofbeats echoed from afar, followed by a rough shout.
"Lette boy! Prepare to die!"
A figure launched itself from the distance, raising a massive Holy Hamr with a world-crushing might aid at him.
The two archbishops instinctively dodged to the side in inspiration.
Lette’s expression changed dramatically as he quickly summoned his Holy Sword Sin Light and enveloped himself with Holy Healing Technique·Revised, instantly maximizing his physical capabilities, not forgetting to shout in protest.
"Teacher! Mind the manor gate!"
