They Hated Me in My First Life, But Now I Have the Love System Chapter 577: Will Somebody Freaking Help Me Already?!”
They had seen Rick discipline n twice his size with a single blow, and now he could not shake off a girl who barely reached his shoulder.
"Wait, did she just... flip him over with one hand?!" soone gasped, almost choking.
"Oh heavens, she’s smiling! Why is she smiling while punching him?!"
"It’s terrifying! But... also kind of... impressive?"
"Don’t be deceived. Head Trainer Rick is just letting her have her fun."
"That’s probably true."
"I agree. Those punches look so soft."
The lobby trembled with half suppressed laughter at the show Rick was probably putting on for Nnenna and anxious murmurs from those who believed Nnenna’s punches were real, all eyes glued to the absurd but frightening spectacle of their head trainer helpless under the princess’s fists.
"Uhm s–ouch, s-sir!" Rick wheezed between punches, trying to squeeze out so explanation.
But Daniel cut him off sharply, raising a hand. "It’s alright, Rick. I will back you up later. His Highness can’t possibly not believe us, and look, all these witnesses are here. Don’t hold back." His voice was cold, steady, dripping with authority.
Rick froze, a punch landing squarely on his shoulder. Back up later? Don’t hold back? What nonsense was Captain Daniel talking about?!
A few minutes crawled by, each one dragging like a century. Rick, who had thought his savior had finally arrived, grew more dumbfounded with every second.
I am literally being beaten to a pulp and he’s telling to show no rcy? His thoughts burned with fury. Doesn’t he see this is a one sided massacre? She is not even breathing hard!
What made it worse was the illusion Nnenna had created. To the others, it looked like she was simply tossing out light, almost playful punches with her small wrists. To them, Rick’s yelps were overly dramatic, almost a performance to appease the princess.
"Oh, co on," soone whispered from the crowd, "look at her. She’s not even sweating. She’s just... tapping him with precision."
"Yeah, tapping. Then why does his face look like it’s lting?" another guard whispered back, biting his lip to keep from laughing.
"Maybe he’s pretending? Acting pathetic so she’ll stop?"
"Acting? With that squeal just now? No man makes that sound willingly."
anwhile, Nnenna remained graceful, her movents fluid, not a strand of hair out of place. Each strike landed with effortless precision, as if she were sparring casually, while Rick, head trainer, man three tis her size, was reduced to flopping and yelping like a caught animal.
To the lobby onlookers, the scene was equal parts terrifying, ridiculous, and oddly srizing.
It was after a few more minutes that it finally dawned on Rick. These people think I’m letting her hit on purpose?! Are they blind?! I’m freaking bleeding here!
But it was what it was. Knowing no one would help him if he did not speak up, he cried out,
"Captain Daniel, please save ! She’s stronger than !"
But instead of help, laughter rang through the lobby.
Head Trainer Rick was indeed a funny person. Even while being pumled, he still had the ti to make jokes.
"This is not a ti for jokes, Rick," Daniel said, amused. "Finish this. I still have sothing to do." He waved dismissively and even turned, as if ready to leave and get back to work.
But a desperate shout froze him mid step.
"I’m not pretending, sir! She is really stronger than ! Will sobody freaking help already?!"
The air turned heavy. Silence fell. Then gasps swept through the lobby like a wave.
"Wait, did he just say she’s stronger than him?" one guard whispered, eyes wide.
"No... that can’t be right. He must be exaggerating!" another said, though his voice shook.
"But look at his face, he’s serious!" soone pointed out nervously.
"Rick? The Head Trainer of the Royal Guards? The man who tosses us around like sacks of rice, crying for help?"
"That’s... that’s insane. Is this even real?"
"Her Highness... she looks untouched. Not a single hair out of place, and he’s the one begging for rcy?"
The lobby buzzed with disbelief, their voices a mix of awe, fear, and utter confusion.
Daniel finally snapped out of his daze and rushed forward, grabbing Nnenna by the shoulders to pull her off.
At first, he used minimal strength, almost casual, because how strong could she really be? But to his surprise, she didn’t budge an inch.
Frowning, he applied more force, his grip tightening. Still nothing. She stayed rooted, her fists raining down like she hadn’t even noticed him.
Daniel’s jaw clenched as he finally used his full strength... and his eyes widened. It was like trying to lift a mountain. His muscles strained, sweat gathered on his brow, but Nnenna didn’t move, not even slightly.
The lobby froze.
"Wait... is Captain Daniel struggling?" soone whispered.
"No way. He must be holding back," another muttered, though his voice cracked with doubt.
"Holding back? He looks like he’s about to pop a vein!"
"This... this is impossible. That’s the captain of the entire security departnt! He once lifted a warhorse with one hand!"
"And yet Her Highness isn’t even flinching... She’s still... punching."
The disbelief in the air turned almost suffocating. Daniel’s pride scread, his arms trembling as he gave one last pull, only for Nnenna to finally stop on her own.
She turned her head, gave him a calm glance, then with effortless grace, she shifted her shoulder and brushed him off to the side as if he were nothing more than a stubborn fly.
Daniel stumbled back, eyes wide, feeling utterly stupid.
The lobby erupted, half gasps, half stifled laughter.
"Did... did she just toss the captain aside like a sack of flour?"
"She didn’t even push. She just... shifted."
"Gosh... if she can do that to him, what chance do we have?"
"Is he pretending too?"
"No, no, no. I refuse to believe this. Soone wake up, this has to be a nightmare."
