Odin

"Are you done playing, Your Highness?"

The girl's voice carried a hint of dissatisfaction. Being held and cuddled like a housecat by soone else was a blow to her dignity as a Goddess—even if it was by Her Highness, she still felt so resentnt.

"Your Highness? Are you talking about ? You must be mistaken. I am Yinhua. This should be our first eting. By the way, what's your na? Did you get separated from your mother?"

Yinhua noticed the girl seed a bit angry and released her embrace.

'Separated from her mother? How could that be? At this level of monster... tsk,'

Zhixi thought.

The air around her seed as heavy as if it had been filled with lead, pinning her motionless; not to ntion movent, she could barely speak.

Even just standing was exhausting. From the look of sweat streaming down Aili's face beside her, it seed her situation wasn't much better.

"You don't recognize ?"

The girl's eyes were full of doubt. Having lived together with the Gardener for hundreds of thousands of years, she found it impossible to mistake the person before her.

She stood on tiptoe, placing her hand on Yinhua's forehead, and a magic circle appeared in her palm.

Seeing this, Aili, worried for her master's safety, desperately wanted to stop the girl, but at the mont she was powerless.

She could only watch helplessly.

"So, that's how it is. Your Highness, you beco more and more unfathomable to ,"

Odin sighed softly. After reading a portion of Yinhua's mories, she now roughly understood the events that had occurred.

"I am Odin."

A very brief self-introduction—she stated only her na.

The mont she heard the na Odin, Zhixi almost stopped breathing.

She knew well that the Absolute God of the Sky—Odin—was the absolute nesis of the demons. She was the one the entire demon race had always feared.

The divine domain she had always guarded—Valhalla—was a place the demons had been unable to conquer for tens of thousands of years.

After fighting a life-and-death war against the Gardener in the World Tree's garden, she had vanished without a trace.

So, it turned out she had beco one of the Gardener's followers.

'The Absolute God of the Sky... Is she still alive?' Zhixi wondered.

"What a revolting, nauseating air,"

Odin walked up to Zhixi and Aili, instantly rendering both of them immobile.

"This is a simple ssage transmission. Please listen to quietly."

"I am called Odin."

"I now grant you the right to speak fairly with . I want to stay with Her Highness. Of course, I'm not interested in hearing your opinions on this matter—I am simply informing you. You have no right to refuse. Everything happening now will not be known to Her Highness."

"How... how could we... possibly... let soone as dangerous as you... stay with my master,"

Aili stamred, still not recovered from the earlier oppression.

"As I've said, I am not interested in hearing your opinions."

"I am simply granting you the right to speak, not to refuse, so do not push your luck."

"If I so wished, I could erase your mories and turn you into two exquisite dolls. I guarantee Her Highness wouldn't notice a single abnormality."

The ruthless look in Odin's eyes showed she could fulfill her threat without hesitation.

Zhixi tugged at Aili's sleeve gently and whispered, "Calm down. She's in complete control now. We have no ability to resist. It's either obey or be killed."

"Since you understand so well how things stand, then I trust you know what to do next,"

Odin smiled faintly. She deactivated the divine domain, and the three of them found their awareness returned to reality.

"Aili, Aili,"

Yinhua waved her hand back and forth in front of Aili's eyes, noticing her companion had been distracted ever since monts ago.

"Ah, sorry, master. Did you need sothing?"

Aili snapped to awareness and answered quickly.

"Well, miss Odin seems to be a friend of this body's original owner. She has nowhere to go. May we let her stay with us?"

Yinhua asked with a hint of pleading.

"Of course, we still have plenty of rooms at ho."

Before Aili could reply, Zhixi answered for her.

Still, Yinhua looked at Aili. Helpless, Aili nodded, signifying her consent.

"Thank you!"

Yinhua ran quickly back to Odin's side to share the good news.

Odin, for her part, revealed a smile as if everything had gone according to plan.

"Please take care of again, Your Highness,"

Odin extended her hand.

"Ah, pleased to et you, miss Odin,"

Yinhua grasped Odin's petite hand.

"Well, let's go ho,"

Yinhua said as she took Odin's hand.

"Wait a mont, Your Highness."

Odin moved closer to Gungnir in Yinhua's hand and touched it lightly.

Instantly, Gungnir transford into four blue beams that etched themselves onto Odin's dress, looking as though they had always been part of its decoration.

"What's this?!"

Yinhua gasped in surprise.

"There's nothing to be surprised about. This is originally my divine weapon."

"Miss Odin, your divine weapon? Is it a weapon? Why was it with ?"

Yinhua asked, puzzled. Ever since she had woken, the four blades of light had been at her side, though she didn't know when they had first appeared.

"Who knows."

Odin showed a mysterious smile that could not be read.
