"Spiritual power?"

"As Exorcists, our spiritual power is already higher than that of most ordinary people, yet now we also seem to be helpless against this force. It looks like we can only use the Spiritual Power within us to resist the invasion of the red light’s Bizarre power!"

The faces of Lin Qiu and his companions were grim. Their Spiritual Power during Exorcism was already stretched thin, and now they had to use it to fend off the invasion of the Bizarre power. They feared they might lose their lives here at any mont.

Seeing their grim expressions, Chu Feng let out a light chuckle. "You’d better save your Spiritual Power to fight that force. As for dealing with the Bizarre, perhaps you can try using this gun!"

With a thought from Chu Feng, a brand-new, export-model AA-12 shotgun appeared in his hand in the blink of an eye.

Recognizing the familiar shape of the gun and the exquisite Runes engraved on it, Lin Qiu and his companions recognized it at once. Wasn’t this the very sa shotgun Chu Feng and Taran had used to save them earlier?

"Chu Feng, if you give the gun to us, what will you do? Besides, who knows how much more danger lies ahead? With just the two shotguns you and Taran have, I’m afraid our odds will still be slim!"

"Who said there were only two?" He tossed the shotgun he held to Lin Qiu, who fumbled to catch it. Then, two more identical AA-12 shotguns appeared in Chu Feng’s outstretched hands.

"So, is this enough now?" A slight smile touched Chu Feng’s lips as he calmly watched the stunned Exorcists before him.

"Chu Feng, is your Storage Space that large? No—no, I an, how are you carrying so many shotguns?" Dimo hastily corrected himself, suddenly rembering that storage equipnt was personal property, and its size and appearance weren’t things one would easily reveal.

Chu Feng shrugged. "Let’s just say I’m rather fond of my life."

"Right, here are the special drum magazines. Take them all and get familiar with them quickly. Don’t wait until you can’t even fire the guns!" After tossing the shotguns to Amita and Dimo, he threw six drum magazines to the group.

"System, keep an eye on those guns. Don’t let them misfire and hit one of us!"

"DING! Rest assured, Host. This system is constantly monitoring the export-grade weapons."

"That’s good."

Having instructed the System, Chu Feng ignored the others, who were huddled together studying how to use the shotguns. With a thought, he opened the system reward notification that had been flashing in his mind for so ti.

"DING! Congratulations, Host, for killing 9 Evil Spirits. You will receive the following rewards:

1. Strength Attribute: 20 points, Physique Attribute: 19 points, ntal Attribute: 24 points, Spiritual Power Attributes: 45 points.

2. Lifespan: 20 years.

3. Storage Space: Doubled."

The stats aren’t that impressive, huh! It seems this batch of Bizarre ones are as average as I thought. He shook his head and casually chose to apply all the rewards.

Host: Chu Feng

"DING! Host’s Spiritual Power has broken through to the First Rank. Spiritual Perception function enhanced."

Before Chu Feng could fully comprehend the System’s notification, he suddenly felt a BUZZ in his brain, as if sothing had instantly spread out from the depths of his mind.

What is this... In an instant, Chu Feng felt as if his brain had beco a radar. Within a radius of over ten ters, the presence of all abnormal energies was projected into his mind.

In the hospital room, Taran and the other three were like four bright light bulbs. Without opening his eyes, Chu Feng could "see" their presence very clearly.

Among the four, Amita, the Indian, radiated the most dazzling light, followed by Taran and Lin Qiu, and finally Dimo, the psychic.

As for Huang Chuanhao, still sitting quietly in the corner watching everyone, the light emanating from him was as faint as a candle fla.

Of course, the enhanced Spiritual Perception still had its limitations. Just as Chu Feng directed it outside the hospital room window, a barrier wreathed in fierce flas abruptly blocked its path, preventing it from advancing an inch.

「Outside the hospital building at this ti.」

"You damn police! You clearly want us to go in there and get slaughtered!" Over twenty Exorcists, ard with various weapons, were gathered between the police and the hospital entrance. Their faces were flushed with anger, and they were constantly spouting all sorts of colorful curses at the officers’ families.

At the head of the crowd, a middle-aged man in a black leather jacket waved his hand to calm the agitated group. He then turned, his gaze composed, towards the police cordon, fixing his eyes on Boris, who was holding a Glock pistol.

"Tell your chief that all of us here believe Miss Rosa’s divination. This hospital is now the Grim Reaper’s private garden. We absolutely will not go in!"

"That’s right, we definitely won’t go in!"

"Yeah!..."

Amidst the Exorcists’ chorus of agreent, Boris spotted a news van that had appeared nearby. He massaged his forehead in frustration before calling Sara to his side. "Tell everyone to maintain the standoff. Absolutely do not open fire!"

With that, Boris turned and walked towards the rear of the police cordon.

"Chief Pierce, shouldn’t we pause sending more Exorcists into the hospital? At least until the ones already inside send back so news?" Boris hesitated for a mont before voicing his suggestion, looking at the chief who sat in the backseat of a police car, his head lowered and face obscured.

"Pause entry? Boris, do you even know what you’re saying?" Pierce lifted his head, his expression savage as he glared at his subordinate. "Do you have any idea how many people in this hospital are waiting to be rescued? The internal dicine building, the surgical building, plus the ergency center right in front of us—are we talking about a few people? Dozens? Or hundreds? And you dare tell to pause the operation? I’m telling you, that’s impossible! Get those Exorcists into the hospital imdiately! Go!"

"But..." Boris’s face was grim; he wanted to say more, but Pierce cut him off, barking, "I said, GO!"

"Alright, alright! I’ll do it right now!" Faced with such an argunt for the ’greater good,’ Boris could only raise his hands in a gesture of surrender and back away.

After his subordinate left, Pierce slowly closed the car window, his body once again enveloped in shadow. Heh, indeed. ’Righteousness’ can be quite useful sotis.

Boris, anwhile, returned to the front line of the standoff, his face etched with worry.

"Boss, how did it go?" Sara, her face etched with anxiety as the situation grew more chaotic, hurried over to Boris as soon as he returned.

Boris simply shook his head, saying nothing.

"Then what do we do? Are we really going to open fire?" Sara glanced sideways at the reporters, who had edged much closer, her expression one of utter dismay.

"Stall for as long as possible! But we absolutely cannot let these people leave! What if..."
