"Huster, didn’t Carolina say she was coming back the day before yesterday? Why isn’t she ho yet?"

A sexy, sultry female vampire extended her enticing red tongue, licked the crimson blood from the corner of her mouth, then looked at her husband, who was still feeding on a girl’s neck, and asked.

"How would I know? She probably ran off to so ’food’s’ house again! Hasn’t this happened many tis before?"

The man lifted his head, his face sared with blood, looking indifferent.

"Dad, wipe your face! Mom said we’re vampires; we should be elegant!"

A little boy had just retracted his fangs from the wrist of a girl on the table. He looked at his father’s blood-covered face with so displeasure.

"Alright, alright, Daddy will listen to Dandy."

Huster smiled, grabbed the girl’s clothes from the table, and carelessly wiped the blood from his face.

"That’s more like it!"

The little boy nodded in satisfaction and then plunged his fangs back into the pale wrist of the girl on the table.

The pupils of the girl on the table were now slowly dilating. It seed she was about to leave this painful world.

"Mom, is she going to die? Why does she taste a bit off now?" the little boy asked, raising his head again with so dissatisfaction.

The woman glanced at the girl on the table. "Hmm, she’s about to die. But I have a way!"

With that, she rummaged through a small bag beside her, pulled out a syringe of adrenaline, and injected it directly into the girl on the table.

A single tear slowly slid from the corner of the girl’s eye.

"Alright, we’re here!"

The car carrying Chu Feng and the two others finally stopped outside a villa in the suburbs of Paris.

"Bishop, is our trial target a Bizarre this ti?" Father Dans asked, looking at the villa before turning to Chu Feng with a confused expression.

"No, no, no! This ti, our target is a Dark Creature. Vampires—you’ve heard of them, right?"

"Vampires? But can’t they only co out at night?" Father Rojas furrowed his brows upon hearing this.

"Rojas, vampires can co out during the day now. Haven’t you read the records from The Holy See?" Hearing this, Father Dans quickly pulled his colleague aside, looking embarrassed.

"Well... I only glanced at the records and didn’t really see anything about vampires." Rojas, realizing his blunder, looked instantly ashad.

"Alright, you two can discuss this in private later. It’s ti for business! Get your gear out."

Chu Feng interrupted their professional discussion impatiently. Upon hearing his words, the two Fathers quickly opened their briefcases and, from a jumble of items inside, pulled out a bottle of Holy Water, a silver dagger, and a Silver Cross.

"Wait! You’re going to face vampires with just these? Are you living in ancient tis?" Chu Feng looked at the items in their hands with an incredulous expression.

"Bishop, is there a problem with these? What tools do you use for Exorcism?" The two puzzled Fathers looked at each other, then back at Chu Feng.

"SIGH..." Chu Feng heaved a long sigh and said in a stern, reproving tone, "For Exorcism, you need *this*!"

An AA-12 shotgun, entirely engraved with Mystic Runes, instantly appeared in Chu Feng’s hand!

"HUH?!"

"HUH?!"

The two Fathers were utterly stupefied by Chu Feng’s weapon.

"Alright, since that’s all you have, there’s no helping it. As long as you use them well, they’ll do."

Chu Feng waved his hand, ushering them towards the villa.

The two Fathers behind him glanced at the items in their hands, then at the shotgun in Chu Feng’s, their faces simultaneously showing extrely complicated expressions.

In front of the villa’s main gate, Chu Feng tossed an exquisite Array Plate high above it.

"Bishop, what was that thing you just threw?" Fathers Dans and Rojas, hurrying to catch up, watched Chu Feng’s actions with confusion.

"You’ll know soon enough. Don’t worry about anything else for now. It’s your turn to act!" Chu Feng pushed the two of them forward, a grin on his face as he spoke.

"Bishop, aren’t you coming with us?" Father Dans looked at Chu Feng in disbelief.

"Of course. I’m just the rookies’ babysitter. My only job is to ensure you aren’t eaten by vampires. As for the actual Exorcism process, you’ll have to rely on yourselves."

Having said that, Chu Feng sat down on the steps in front of the villa’s door, watching the two Fathers’ actions.

The two exchanged glances and involuntarily swallowed.

After all, this was their Exorcism trial—their rite of passage, so to speak—and there was no escaping it.

"May the Lord protect us! An!"

Finally, Father Dans mustered his courage and rang the villa’s doorbell.

Watching the young Father’s action, Chu Feng secretly shook his head.

If it were , I probably would’ve just kicked the door in and barged right through, giving the vampires no ti to react.

A good while after the doorbell rang, a little boy finally opened the door. The mont it opened, the boy’s pupils constricted sharply.

"Good evening, Fathers. May I ask what brings you here?" The little boy seed scared of strangers, hiding his body behind the door with only his small head peeking out.

"Hello. Is anyone else ho? We’d like to speak with your parents, if possible."

Although he hadn’t figured out the boy’s identity, Father Dans was astute enough to carefully avoid revealing their purpose.

He didn’t notice Chu Feng behind him, who looked as if he wanted to say sothing but was holding himself back.

"My parents aren’t ho. If you’re looking for them, you can co back later." The boy said this and tried to close the villa’s main door.

"Wait! Can we co in and wait for them to return?" Father Dans pushed against the door as it was about to close.

"Oh, alright then. Co on in!" The boy hesitated for a mont, then opened the door wide and ushered the three of them inside.

Father Dans and Father Rojas went in first, with Chu Feng following, until all three were inside the villa.

With a loud BANG! the door behind them slamd shut with trendous force.

In the blink of an eye, three dark shadows lunged at them.

The little boy, now revealing sharp fangs, lunged at Chu Feng, who was at the rear. He closed the distance with incredible speed, but before he could fully bare his fangs, he saw his target’s lips curl into a sarcastic, mocking smile.

In the blink of an eye, Chu Feng’s right hand shot out and clamped firmly around the neck of the little ’bat’ before him. No matter how much the boy struggled, Chu Feng’s grip didn’t waver in the slightest.

Chu Feng then turned his gaze to the two rookies he had brought along.

Father Dans, attacked by a male vampire, had just hit the ground hard. It was clear he had taken a nasty fall.

Luckily, the Silver Cross in his hand had saved his life. When attacked, he had almost instinctively thrust the cross out in front of him.
