The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system Chapter 294 - 294 Top ranking again
294: Top ranking again 294: Top ranking again In bed alone with two cats, Alix got the opportunity to ga as much she wanted but she didn’t plan to spend much ti at it.
She had already logged into the virtual world and she was hiding behind so thickets opposite a long road leading into a heavily populated city on the island.
With a weapon in hand, she stayed by the side of the road which had dirt and watched as she dug the ground with a single hand.
Despite leading to the only city on the island, the road was rather deserted which was a good thing for her plan.
It was silent out there, with the only sound coming from space ships that flew by occasionally.
She had seen many birds in the forest but out here, there were hardly any.
Alix controlled her breath and ignored the botherso trail of sweat running down her neck.
One thing she didn’t enjoy about this third world was the heat.
Day or night, it was hot on this world.
“What are you waiting for to find targets and start shooting?” the system asked her.
She moved her fingers around and highlight important information.
“I am thinking of a quick way to kill the most targets in the shortest possible ti.
This is a road and according to information on the forum, everyday, trucks carrying supplies and weapons for the bad general leave the city and are taken across Packer’s ocean to the other side which we cannot access yet.” She and many other players had tried to cross the ocean and get to the bad general’s headquarters but a barrier was keeping them out.
Alix guessed that it was like the dark wizard’s tower in level two and access would be granted when the ga desired.
“Nice, so you are thinking about shooting the drivers and guards of the trucks.
Great idea.” The system rejoiced at Alix’s quick thinking.
“That’s not it exactly.” Alix responded.
“I am going to blow them up.
That’s why i am hiding on the section of the road which is dirt.
I am going to bury myself in the ground and attach explosive devices to the bottom of the trucks.” The island was often patrolled by drones and she spotted one approaching from a distance so she activated camouflage and invisibility features.
She stayed still until the patrol was gone, then she resud her digging.
“Why do you suppose he doesn’t use spaceships to transport his goods?” she asked the system.
“It would be much faster and much more efficient.” “That’s how the ga is designed.” It replied.
“I am running a simulation of your plan to see where the best spot for you to bury is.
We should avoid any unnecessary accidents like you being run over before you can succeed.” Alix and the system cooperated and she hid herself.
From there it was a long wait, going into an hour.
It didn’t take long for her to start complaining.
“This sucks.” “Patience is key for your plan.” the system told her.
“Maybe i should just sneak into the city and shoot up the bad guys.” she suggested.
“Maybe we should discuss sothing else, like Dahei trust managent.
Look, this is a list and images of everyone attached to the group.
Do you want to play guess who the bad guy is?” It asked her.
Nas and images floatef across the virtual screen screen.
While she was glad to be receiving help, she also didn’t have the slightest idea on where to start.
These were too many people and all were strangers to her.
She shifted herself and so dirt that was covering her moved.
“Just co out with it and tell who the likely candidate is.” As if it was making a business presentation, the system responded talkatively, “Well, i have looked into your husband’s past and cross referenced…..” “No, no….just a single answer.
Show an image and give a na.” she insisted, agitated.
As per her request most of the images disappeared from the virtual screen and the list of nas dwindled.
“I have two images for you host, Fu Yichen and Lai Yanfang.
Wait until you hear….the trucks are arriving, it’s go ti.” Alix was already eager to unearth herself and sleep.
Thoughts of the hidden enemy vanished quickly and she concentrated on the ga.
“How many?” “Eight.” it responded.
“Eighty nine renegades all together.
The trucks are protected heavily from all sides except the bottom.
You made a good call host.” A proud smile ford on her face.
“Now aren’t you happy that your intelligence has increased thanks to ?” it asked.
The smile which had been ford turned into a frown.
Leave it up to the system to take credit for any small accomplishnt of hers.
She clamped her lips tight and waited patiently for the first truck to pass by her.
The explosive devices she was using were small but strong.
As each truck passed by, she attached one to the bottom.
The trucks were always accompanied by drones in the air.
It was extra security to ensure that anyone that ca close would be killed.
After the last truck was at a safe distance away, and the drones so far, Alix sat up.
Dirt fell from her face and body, and so she inhaled.
She couldn’t hold back the sneeze which escaped her nose.
She didn’t think dirt in a ga could actually make her sneeze.
“This ga is too realistic.” she mumbled.
She looked down at her wrist and figured that was good a ti as any.
“All systems go.” she muttered and tapped an activate option.
There was no countdown like she expected.
The trucks imdiately exploded with a bang at the sa ti.
They released blue fire and flas that went off with sparks dominating the sky above like fire works.
Alix laughed and captured an image.
She had no idea what the trucks had been carrying but the blue flas were very beautiful.
“The drones are coming.” the system warned her.
The kills she had achieved were still being counted rapidly on the gaming screen.
On the solo ranking board, Alix’s position quickly stated moving up from sixth to fifth and fourth.
She was sure that she would be at the top before morning ca.
“Ti to bounce.” she told the system.
“Thank you for playing.” it responded.
She logged out of the ga imdiately, chugged down a sleeping potion from the second world and fell asleep imdiately.
The system elf watched her and shook it’s small head, looking at her with displeasure.
It figured that it might have been too quick in praising her for her intelligence.
How did she lose sight of important things?
“She has already forgotten to ask about her husband’s enemy.
What a fool.” The system filed away the images of Lai Yanfang for later.
Until she brought the matter up, it would not remind her.
Unless she was danger, it would not interfere because her dramatic life was very entertaining.
As it envisioned what she would like when she found out about her husband’s ex-girlfriend, it laughed like a villain that was hatching a plot.
