137: save1 The First Skirmish
The Liu Lili of this world seed to reflect Lu Lele's own past self, especially regarding her initiative. It truly gave a strong sense of déjà vu; they were both the type to actively seize the rhythm.
As the two interacted, Liu Lili did not stop walking, having already delivered Lu Lele to her boudoir.
Once back in her familiar recliner, Lu Lele's emotions stabilized significantly.
This was especially true now that her own person was by her side. Zhang Yuelu, a little maid around fourteen years old with chestnut hair, had taken over Helena's position as personal maid and had participated in the plot to eliminate the Head Maid, Wang Xiran. She was small in stature but incredibly strong, working with speed and efficiency. Otherwise, she would not have earned the appreciation and trust of the previous Head Maid.
Unlike Helena, this little maid could not strictly be considered one of Lu Lele's confidantes. Although she had participated in the plan to take down the Head Maid, the Earl had directed her actions the entire ti.
In other words, she was actually the Earl's person. Of course, she could approximately be counted as Lu Lele's person as well.
But this "approximately" was not equivalent to "equal." There was a certain difference, one that required careful discernnt to taste the subtle nuance.
Zhang Yuelu's presence made Lu Lele feel as though she had returned to her ho turf. She unconsciously beca a bit more proactive, having the two exchange greetings and perform a simple self-introduction.
Subsequently, hugging her little bear doll, she spoke to Liu Lili, who was maintaining a smile to the side:
"I have been thinking, let us just cancel that little punishnt for using the wrong address from now on."
She had originally intended to use this to close the distance between them, creating a minor punishnt that could be easily exploited for banter.
But Lu Lele never expected that the distance between them didn't need her to actively close it at all.
Liu Lili was not so harmless little animal afraid of everyone she t. She was a man-eating tiger, the type that would go crazy at the re scent of blood.
Now, having witnessed Liu Lili's capabilities firsthand, this rule only had negative effects for Lu Lele. Naturally, she had to find a way to abolish it. Otherwise, keeping it around would lead to who knows what kind of tricks Liu Lili might play with it in the future.
Hearing this, Liu Lili paused for a mont and asked back:
"But didn't Lele say she hoped to use this more intimate form of address?"
Lu Lele replied:
"Forget it, forget it. Lili, you can call whatever you want. I won't force it, okay. Besides, I see you keep getting it wrong, Lili. That implies you actually prefer calling 'Young Lady,' right?"
Liu Lili shook her head earnestly:
"That won't do. How can an order given by Lele be changed so easily? My father told that changing orders morning and evening isn't a good thing. Especially for a great noble like you, Lele, your word should be as solid as a nail. Otherwise, you might be disliked by your subordinates, you know?"
"I think you just feel that calling cute embarrasses , so you are intentionally getting it wrong, right?"
"But that was what Lele said personally. If you break the rules, you have to say it. And just now, Lele's expression looked like you were enjoying it. That implies Lele actually likes it when others call her cute, doesn't it?"
Liu Lili paused, covering her mouth and whispering:
"So the Earl's daughter is a little Tsundere. That is really cute."
Zhang Yuelu, watching from the side, was stunned by their conversation but still played her role as a vase perfectly, standing with hands down, appearing indifferent to their exchange.
And Lu Lele, her defenses crumbling at Liu Lili's comnt of "so you are a little Tsundere," said in exasperation:
"I am not a Tsundere. Lili, do not just slap labels on people!"
No matter what, Lu Lele was also a Yandere, the type who would stab people with a cute little machete.
For a true Yandere, being called a Tsundere by soone else was a very, very depressing thing.
Although in this world she might not even have the strength to stab soone with a machete, it didn't an Lu Lele had been expelled from the Yandere mbership. Who said an Isolation Induction Yandere was not a Yandere?
Hearing Lu Lele's words, Liu Lili deliberately responded with a rather perfunctory tone:
"Okay, okay, not a Tsundere, not a Tsundere. Although Lele did things a Tsundere would do and said things only a Tsundere would say, she isn't a Tsundere. I understand."
She really catches an opportunity and unleashes a barrage of output.
Lu Lele took two or three deep breaths before barely suppressing the urge to punch the smiling face in front of her.
Honestly, Liu Lili was getting a bit too carried away. She dared to tease the Earl's daughter like this. Was she really not afraid Lu Lele would get angry?
She really forgot herself once she got into the groove.
However, Lu Lele had her own way of dealing with it.
Is it not just being shaless? Who cannot do that?
Lu Lele knew very well how to use her status to her advantage. As a cute little loli, she could naturally say so willful things, and the other party would not have much recourse, mostly just having to submit.
So, she pouted, putting on a look of having been wronged:
"Wu, Lili, you are a bully. I do not like you anymore. Unless, unless you apologize to right now and promise to do things my way, I will not forgive you. Otherwise, just leave now. I do not want to see you!"
"In that case, I will go organize my luggage first. Young Lady, if there is anything you need, please feel free to send your personal maid to find at any ti."
Leaving these words behind, Liu Lili floated away without leaving a single cloud behind.
Lu Lele stared at Liu Lili's retreating back, montarily dumbfounded.
Huh? She really just left like that?
So decisive?
When she reached the doorway, Liu Lili's pace slowed slightly for two seconds, but Lu Lele resisted the urge to call out to her and did not make a sound.
Lu Lele knew that if she really stopped Liu Lili now, she would lose completely.
And after Liu Lili discovered Lu Lele had not called her to stop, she did not linger either, leaving cleanly and thoroughly.
This ti, Lu Lele had completely retracted her underestimation.
The Liu Lili of this world was much harder to deal with than imagined, even a little bit scary.
Not only was she proficient in all sorts of tricks, but she could also counter-tricks, completely catching the Lu Lele of just now off guard.
After Liu Lili left, the aggrieved expression on Lu Lele's face vanished instantly, replaced by a faint smile and excitent.
The stronger the prey perford, the richer the joy of the hunt would be upon success.
Zhang Yuelu, having watched all this from the side, did not say a single word the entire ti.
