Chapter 99: Chapter 98: Blood rain 4

It was a sudden retreat, probably they would have dealt with it but all of them felt that urgent need for a sudden quick retreat, a boss monster that was capable of crowd control, with the arrival of the red orc chief, the red orcs started moving with coordination they were directly receiving orders from every of the chief’s cry, not to ntion the chief was cunning and tricky, it made the orcs served as bait and it began to hunt them, Rein didn’t want to lose anyone has one of Goldevia’s comrade was heavily wounded and even Dion had a light wound that needed to be tended to imdiately, fortunately, they had a healer.

Riana stepped forward and began to heal Tanika who was from the beastfolk tribe, her deeps were very deep and she was in deep pain and it was looking like Riana’s healing magic was not enough, despite the whole situation Goldevia was calm and collected but it could still be seen on her face, her desperation to save her teammates. At this Rein could not hold back anymore. This was the type to test the experint he had been working on.

Rein ca forward and told Riana to move away, she imdiately did as she had high respect for Rein.

He opened a small bottle containing a red liquid substance and poured it in his mouth, he bent down and poured it directly into her mouth, lips to lips, the atmosphere beca tense, even Goldevia who gathered a girls-only party and was very protective of her party could not say anything, they all watched. Afterwards, he sat on the floor and belatedly realized what he just did, his expression distorted at the thought that he had just given away his first kiss for free, the kiss he thought Alia was gonna have when he ca back.

Everyone laughed at his reaction.

Rein showed a beautiful side of him when it ca to prioritising human life, a side that showed urgency and how deeply he cared about those around him, it was a side he was seeing for the first ti as this was the first chance he was being a chance to care for people.

Her wounds healed quickly and her body began to stabilize, Dion’s wound was healed by Riana.

Riana stared at Rein with amazent as he healed soone even she couldn’t.

Everyone was curious about the type of portion Rein used, a portion with imdiate ability was nowhere in this world, but they were regular potions, the best healing potions could do was increase healing speed, that is a wound that would heal in two weeks originally would heal in one weeks or at best 5 days but the potion had to be consistently taken till the wounds were healed, potion efficacy was very bad in the real world probably there was one thing that distinguished it from the ga.

The ability to make potions was from Rein’s profession the ability to acquire any skill so far he understood the process, he once played a ga as an alchemist where he had to learn to make different kinds of potions, and then when he stumbled upon a recipe in the Hornetaurs dungeon back at the academy he was able to fully utilize his skills as a gar and create potions with higher efficacy.

But he couldn’t explain all that to them, they would not even understand.

To his surprise, they didn’t ask, even though they seed like they wanted to know badly. These people were conscious that they were only in a temporary alliance and could be enemies anyti so they didn’t expect Rein to tell them such huge secrets, if the explanations were not complicated he would have said and have been taken for a pushover, sotis luck was on his side.

"We shall pass the night here and then when it’s the morning we shall continue"

"We can’t" Rein voiced out.

Fodel, Dion’s right-hand man was flustered. "Why not..."

"Have we forgotten our mission here, we are supposed to stop the red orcs from joining, if we keep stalling ti here the orcs will probably continue their journey, we have seen the might of that orc, we surely can’t let that thing reach the main battle which should soon be starting."

"...*sigh*..." Nozick stood up and mounted Grunder his white lion. "I feel your tenacity, co let’s go get the head of that orc together while the others focus on the small fries"

They felt insulted but none could voice out, the atmosphere Nozick wore seed to be restricting airflow.

Rein stood up. ’Belet’

Large darkness erged from his shadows and behold Belet walked out from it in his demonic form.

Rein surprises co when he least expects them. It was true that Belet was getting used to his new self over ti, but it never occurred to Rein that it would have developed its predatory sense since it was a demonic beast after all.

Rein looked at Belet status ’appraisal’

Rein was very amazed at what he saw, ’...the stamina... immortality, things can’t stop getting interesting, Rein was very tempted to look at the status of everyone but he would save that for another day. He was about to mount Belet which everyone won’t stop staring at but realized Belet was too tall, the dark horse bent to his knee and Rein comfortably mounted it. Everyone’s eye shone with admiration, especially Braschiold who had never seen anything cooler than this.

"Let’s go..."

’tsk... he has a knack for always stealing the spotlight from ’

The both of them rode out, even though Rein resisted the urge to appraise all of them because of ti he had the perfect opportunity to see Nozick’s capabilities.

But then....

Rein continued his journey towards the orcs with frustration.

Jon finally reached the rendezvous point, it seed like everyone was waiting for him and everyone seems to be so uncoordinated. Jon had no ti for motivational speech, they had until daylight before they ended this. He had planned it so well that it was intended to be a one-sided massacre. Jon smiled at the thought of rcilessly slaying the Fangdorrs and even taking them as prisoners. Zolin stood in front of the army which were positioned 300m away from the Fangdorrs.

He spread his arms, "I knew you would get out!"

Jon ignored his hands and went to Quetz, "Is it ready?"

"Yes," Quetz nodded. it would originally take longer to conjure spells like this but thanks to the thod you taught

it was faster and my skill proficiency seems to have increased too."

Jon smiled, "I’m glad to hear that. Well, shall we rain fire on them now..." Jon faces Zolin. "Tell everyone to get ready the fire will be the attack signal for other parties, we must not lag, rember this is Redmoon, we are supposed to be spectacular."

Zolin imdiately received his orders and pulled back towards the end of the cliff which they stood at the edge, he began to address the soldiers as Jon watched him.

Jon had deliberately made Zolin study speech books, literature books, motivational books and a substantial amount of history, he was relieved that the words that Zolin spoke was pleasant to the ear and riling up the hearts of the Artician soldiers for a war even though they know they won’t be coming back in one piece.

After Zolin was done, Jon nodded to Quetz, who imdiately began to chant a spell, "Heed , oh guardian of FIRE, enforce

with thy heat and extend thy flas for my plea! CO!! ETERNAL BURN!!!"

Dark clouds began to form around the Fangdorr’s habitat. It looked like rain was gonna fall, both the orcs and Fangdorrs ca out, it was a good thing that rain was gonna fall, after all the Fangdorr plains were not blessed with consistent rainfall.

"Lord! this is a blessing! this shows that the gods are with us!!" They leapt with joy as the dark clouds got stronger and drops began to fall.

With this they were sure that the battle was the right decision, Dor’thuk smiled as he watched them, he felt proud of his decision to start this war, to make the Fangdorr be acknowledged as an equal race not so lesser barbarians that needed to be kept in check not that the rest of the Fangdorrs particularly cared about his reasons since they a very low intelligence which often irritates him sotis, but it made it way easier for him to lead them. He was the only one that understood what he wanted. The only thing he just needed to sugarcoat for them was his aning of true freedom.

The orcs and Fangdorrs continued in their joy when the orcs began to sniff, orcs were blessed with an innate skill of perception, while their five sense was more developed, the Fangdorrs’ were denser, so the Fangdorrs could not easily relate as the orcs instinctively began to take cover.

"...smoke" Dor’thuk murmured.

Just then a large outpour of flaming arrows began to fall from the dark clouds, it was indeed a dance of joy. Dor’thuk fell to his butt as he watched his tribesn burn in despair, leap and jump in pain.

From afar Jon grinned, "Let the hunt begin"
