Rein inhaled and exhaled multiple tis, he then tightened his grip on his sword and cyclonically, fast but subtle. As he got closer the large wolf opened its eyes, red eyeballs with black sclera.

It growled softly at Rein who at once picked up his pace and ran at the Wolf, scratching his sword on the tiled floor, creating sparks and flying into the air above the large wolf that got up, as he descended upon the wolf–

The wolf let out a loud howl that sent Rein flying and smashing him into one.of the pillars.

They all looked at him from below.

"Looks like this won’t be easy" Theo said with an expression of pity.

Rein dropped to the floor and stood up, he dusted the debrises off his shoulders and smiled.

"What the hell? Did that monster just throw

away by howling...?"

The wolf stood, 12ft tall, it looked down at Rein who had to raise his head.

"Damn I hate the fact that I’m raising my head" Reinard said.

"It will take more than that flimsy sword to defeat ..." the large wolf, spoke. Rein looked back trying to trace the thick voice, he looked back at the wolf.

"I thought it was a lie...that powerful monsters in labyrinth can talk...I guess it was true afterwards" Samael said.

Rein gulped, "You can talk...a monster?"

’I an, I understand Pika’s case but this is a monster’ Rein said in his head.

"What does it matter to a rat" the wolf said with its thick voice.

Rein looked left and right, "who ?...?"

Without any warning the wolf’s large claws fell on where Rein stood, he flew away in the last second. The fang smashed the whole of the surrounding to bits.

’He’s surprisingly too fast for his size’ Rein exhaled and imdiately -

He sped off and appeared in the air behind the wolf.

"Looking for my blindspot?"

The wolf’s tail stretched and smashed him into the walls. Rein without resting dashed out and unto the wolf’s front crouching and plunging the sword forward.

The wolf’s fang slapped him faster than his sword could reach the wolf’s Jaw even though the wolf had not moved its paw two seconds ago when his sword was closing in.

His sword cut along the wolf’s right body as he ran past the wolf faster than it could follow.

"Shallow" he said as he slid and turned towards the wolf, without taking a breathe he took off again but the wolf’s tail crushed back into the wall behind were he was running from.

The wolf’s tail repeated smashed into the wall Reinard had crashed into. The wolf turned towards that direction. Reinard ca out slowly, with few bruises on his face and a torn clothe. He spat out the blood in his mouth and put away the white dragon.

"It’s been so long I used this..." he said opening his hand into the air. ’It’s still in its incomplete stage because the dwarves were not able to handle it, I’m hoping Katherin learns well and finishes it up for , but I’ll just use it like that...’

A gold rod appeared in his hand.

"A change of weapon will chang–"

The wolf found itself tumbling away as he was thrown away by the rod that suddenly hit

even though it shouldn’t have been able to reach him from the distance Rein stood.

The rod shrieked back to its normal length and Rein spinned it, simultaneously moving his leg in a rhythm that followed every downward swings. He hung the rod at his back and pointed one hand forward with his fingers curved as though he was imitating claws. His legs stood together but straight.

"Wow...I didn’t know Master was good in martial art" Samael said.

"That rod...looks different" Alia said.

"You can tell too, at a glance it looks like a deity’s property but I have no doubt master has done sothing to it." Samael chuckled. "Now I don’t know who to pity, the big bad wolf or Master"

"This is a side I never knew Master had"

"Well, you’ve never really seen him fight, even though he doesn’t have the skills anymore, father used to have a lot of martial art skills, and his body definitely rembers the movent..."

’Aish, thanks to the rod I was able to put the distance between us, all I can rember from the golden statue fight(Kazimir’s diary: first eting with Huemac also) is the beginning stance, after that...it’s been so long I can’t even rember if it’s first foot or second foot.’ Rein cried in his head.

As the wolf ran with high speed everywhere vibrated, Rein lost his balance as he couldn’t rember the next step, he was about to fall but used the rod as a support and sprang himself to the sky, from his back he swung the rod over his head and then downwards the rod extended as it reached downwards and smashed the wolf into the ground and imdiately shrink, Rein rolled in the air and barely landed well on the ground.

The dust cleared and the wolf stood up again, this ti dusting it body by shaking its body excessively. It slowly opened its mouth flas subtly burn within. It over its head repulsive to shoot the flas at Reinard but the rod extended at it faster and crushed his mouth together at the point he expelled the flas from its mouth, closing the its mouth on the already shot flas. The flas exploded in its mouth. Rein giggled as the gold rod shrink, he swung it sharply and placed it in front of him, one end in the ground and another end to the air.

Rein watched as the wolf staggered and suffered from the explosion.

"The battle tide changed drastically because of that gold rod..." Samael said rubbing his chin. "Apart from it defying the need of Master having to get closer, the gold rod must be very heavy, every hit crushes the big wolf"

"Are trying to say its all because of the rod and he won’t be able to defeat it on his own?" Alia said, glaring at Samael.

"Don’t mistake , Master indeed is skillful and strong...but that rod is playing a bigger role right now"

Rein exhaled softly, "Now let’s put an end to -

Rein paused as walls of fire surrounded him.

Even Theo freaked out, "This level of fire magic..."

The wolf slowly walked out, all its skin hardened and red, the skin took on the form of a volcano stone and make the wolf look naked. It’s eyes was flaming with fire. The hardened skin began to tear apart, within each tear magma rose from within and poured on the ground, lting the floor as it walked closer to Rein.

"I don’t know what tricks you had till now, but it all stops now...I will make you regret trespassing into my bio" The wolf said, picking up its pace.

The rod bounced back as it extended and hit the head of the wolf, even Rein lost his balance and almost fell into the wall of fire behind him. He quickly supported himself with the rod and was sprang forward. He tightened his both hand on the rod, and swung it down at the wolf, the rod didn’t not only extended but also fattened as he smashed the head of the wolf. The wolf dusted the damage off easily and dashed at Rein as he staggered by having to handle the increased weight of the rod.

The wolf plunged into him, forcing him into the wall of fire, both of them flew past the spectators, into pillars and finally into the wall.

Rein was thrown out the the wall they both crashed into, he crashed consecutively into three pillars and fell to the floor.

Blood dripped from his head as tried to get up. He touched his forehead and looked at his own blood.

"Father is bleeding, we should–

"Stop" Theo said pulling Azes back as Azes was about to jump in.

Samael sighed, "I don’t think Master will take my advice about-"

~THUD~

’What the hell, the atmosphere suddenly feels heavy and is itching my lungs...’ Samael’s eye widened as he traced the origin of the sudden change in the atmosphere.

Rein stood surrounded by a turbulent red smoke.

The wolf slowly and subconsciously began to step back.

"I’ve never seen Father so angry...." Azes said, looking at Rein from afar off.
