Chapter 282: The Labyrinth
Uriel and Micheal stood opposite each other, stating at each other for so ti as silence itself broke the definite silence between them.
Micheal sighed, "So? What is it you want?"
"I want to go to Abeir Toril, I will keep your secret and report and then you help
convince the council that I should go to Abeir Toril, what so ever stunt you are trying to pull with the gods is not our concern"
"...Just that?" Micheal asked.
"Just that, see? Compared to before I didn’t ask for much" Uriel said raising his eyebrows with a smirk.
"Hmm, except that you would still tell Raphael and Lashtrael about it in a hundred years ti"
"We are close so we discuss this and that" Uriel said, using his hands to comb through his long blonde hair.
"I don’t care what business you have in Abeir Toril, but I would try my best to convince the council, since all matters in council is handled by votes, I suppose you already have more of them on your side..."
"Not really, of course Raphael and Lashtrael are with
though theybstill have their doubts about what I intend to do, all this is left is Viryn, Felarathael and Gabriel"
"So three against three uh..." Micheal disappeared into thin air imdiately after.
Uriel smiled and gazed into the sky Micheal was looking at.
"Thank you for having a lot of ss, looks like I can get what I want sooner than I expected." He said, closing his eyes as he enjoys the breeze.
....
Labyrinth are a different level compared to dungeons, a dungeon is considered a floor of a labyrinth. A labyrinth consist of different environnts alongside different and unique species of monsters. Which are much stronger than monsters found in forest or dungeons.
"Labyrinth are complicated...finding their gateway is hard I hear" Rein said, looking around trying to find the door of the labyrinth. All he could see was a stony plain filled with valleys and dust, he had seen much more so how a labyrinth and an unexplored one as at that could be here didn’t surprise him.
"Or we could just blow everything up" Samael said.
"No, definitely not Samael, we are in this labyrinth for a reason, you won’t do that"
"Don’t worry father, he was just teasing you, no being has the destructive power to destroy a labyrinth" Azes said as he slowly descended and transford to his human form, still looking line a black haired kid, with purple eyes. Theo much bigger than Azes also landed and polymorphed.
Azes looked into the air, a large purple coloured magic circle imdiately appeared, imdiately a thick fog filled everywhere.
"Wow..." Rein exclaid softly as he watched Azes unlock the gate of the labyrinth without even chanting.
"I must admit, he’s magical prowess surpasses mine" Theo said.
"Really, even though you are way older?" Reinard said.
"Of course, normally there is no way a two year old dragon should be that big, but there is an exception when it always cos to the strongest, the black dragon is the strongest of all chromatic as—
"—the gold dragon is the strongest of all Platinum dragons" Reinard completed Theo’s statent.
Rein and the rest of them entered into the thick fog and disappeared as they as the fog covered them.
They opened their eyes to a changed environnt, the first thing that struck Rein was the intense heat, he had never in his life felt so much heat.
"Even with my resistance for fire attribute, I’m still feeling so much heat" Rein said, taking off the black thick coat he was wearing, only to be left with is turtleneck silky black shirt, that had a suspender strapped to it.
"Do you feel the heat?" Reinard said to Theo.
"Of course, I an... it’s too much...I’m not a red dragon, I’m not even a chromatic dragon at all..."
’Makes sense, while Chromatic dragons were created with nature as its basis, Platinum dragons were made based on materials, Bahamut and Tiamat were quite the intelligent deity, to be able to think of such brilliant creation’ Rein said in his head.
He sighed as he looked around.
"A labyrinth sure is different..."
"Actually it’s still too early for that" Theo said.
"Looks like we have company" Samael said along.
Large red coloured wolves, surrounded them. They had a short horn on their forehead, their fur was red and their eyes was dark.
They gnarled and drooled at them.
"They look like they’ve not had visitors for centuries..." Alia irritatedly said.
Rein pulled out white dragon and swung it as he saw the wolves information window.

"Fire is a no—"
~Thanggh~
A large magic circle appeared and imdiately bursted forth a large fla upon all the wolves.
Rein annoyingly and slowly turned his head, "w-h-o t-h-e h-e-l-l d-i-d t-h-a-t?" He said forcing a smirk unto his face.
"I obliterated them" Azes said with confidence.
’They resisted a dragon’s spell, even though its just magic...they resisted...’Theo was shocked in hie face as well as in his mind.
"Oh my God, how can a dragon be so dumb" Rein said slapping his hand to his face. As the fire cleared, the wolves walked out of the smoke, the fur they hard completely disappeared and turn to a thick skin. Flas danced in their mouth as they growled slowly and at once dashed.
~Raaaawwwrr~
They ran at Rein and jumped into the air, midway -
~Krrrgh~
Rein flew underneath with his speed, the wolf showed a shocking reaction as Rein dragged white dragon along its belly expecting that he was going to split the wolf in two by the ti he landed but it was as if he was trying to cut a stone.
He landed and before he could even turn the wolves jad redirected their movent and were already coming at him. Samael appeared in front of him and caught one of the wolves by he head, he crushed the head and the wolf dropped dead to the floor. Not wasting a breathe second Samael punched through the second one, the purple blood splashed all over him, he was about to reach the third when Rein swept past him and stabbed white dragon into the mouth of the wolf as it opened its mouth to Roar at Rein. Rein forced the sword leftwards-ly out of the wolf, the purple blood splurged like a turbulent water outlet as the wolf dropped the floor, while Azes and the rest had taken care of the rest of the wolves.
[You have leveled up]
’Eh? Just from killing one?’ He said in his head and faced them.
"I’ll say this..." Rein looked at all of them, "I’ll say this, from henceforth, it will be
killing all the monsters, I’m the one that needs to grow not you guys"
"Father?"
"It’ll indeed be hard my lord, these are a different type of monsters from those that you have ever fought"
"It’s fine Theo, I will take care of it..."
Rein continued into the labyrinth with the rest of them, all through all he could fight was red dire wolves. The nature of the monsters pose a question in Rein’s mind as he slayed them projecting deeper into the labyrinth.
After a while, Rein had gotten familiar with the attack pattern of the dire wolves.
The red direwolves approached him as usual gnarling but Rein noticed a black haired one amidst them.
"There’s a black one..., information..."
[Status]
Monster na: Ferry black dire-wolf
Monster level: 170

"You must be f**king kidding ...it’s level 170, how does it make sense that you don’t know the important info, uh Ariel?"
[Master please, this is the system, don’t talk to , talk to the system]
"Oh, I see... you must be angry because I didn’t take you with "
[You are in a labyrinth, such things as levels do not matter, my judgent may be wrong or correct...]
[What I’m saying is, expect anything, atleast I trust that you won’t die]
"This girl jas grown so balls alright"
Rein said swinging the sword and slowly proceeding forward while Azes, Theo, Alia and samael watched.
~whish~
~whish~
He disappeared and following his movents the head of two red dire wolves flew into the air. He stabbed into the air with his sword charging towards the head of the black wolf.
~whim~
Rein’s eye widened as the black wolf swung itself sideways crashing into the rocky walls in order to weave his attack.
He paused and looked back, everyone except him seed to not be surprised about it.
"My lord all that you have been fighting before now are just bunch of dummies compared to the monsters here." Theo said, folding his arms and sighing.
"Okay I think I may have underestimated the labyrinth, maybe a little"
