Chapter 105: Chapter 104: The Apostles
Neza’s combat ability wasn’t a fluke, with the killing intent he showed flexed, Jon was sure he could beat Rein ten tis over handicapped.
Neza had a goal, he knew how much he needed to be so good at the one thing his brother lacks, he wonders if he will ever be able to catch up to his reputation, he angers because his brother is weak, too weak to lead the Forgan empire. The crowning of a prince isn’t determined by the emperor alone in the empire, even though the prince may have the emperor’s support, it’s still up to the nobles to decide especially the Dukes of the empire. So every prince has a little hope of having the throne so far they could prove their worthiness, Neza was the only prince aspiring to be Emperor, and his mother was the strong backing he had, his mother’s words resonated every second in his ear, ’Go out there, be strong enough to defeat even your father and no one would be able to oppose you’
this was Neza’s motivation, he treasured his training tis and always makes a breakthrough upon every wall he hits, making him grow stronger and stronger within the few months of being in the academy, and he was still ready to go further because he knew that this was not enough to overpower his father.
The party that had gone for the red orcs subjugation hurried arrived on their beast mounts each one of them glorious and extravagant. Bbraschiold jumped down from black-skinned with yellow strips subterranean lizard which was the common beast mount because of its speed and affinity. He ran to Jon who was still scanning for Rein.
"Sir Rein had been taken to the academy!" Braschiold huffed as he talked.
Jon looked at him, ’a lot seems to have happened’
At this point the party leaders reached Jon and everyone was already gathering together Neza’s party including. Goldevia was the one that spoke, her voice boosted of confidence, her smoothed use of words and power-centric accent was particularly splendid and had a way of controlling the crowd, it wasn’t easy for males to approach her with the way she spoke, she grew up learning not to depend on n since her father was a whore and her mother believed all n to be the sa, she took greater detest in n though her opinion might be changing.
"The orc chief was a lot stronger than we all expected, even the normal orcs were as strong it took too much of us..." Jon looked around and saw how the whole party was looking tattered but no one except Nozick, Sigrid, Grim and Reinard, he continued to pay attention to her.
"....but Sir Wimberly was able to take on the Orc chief alone, to be honest none of us was confident enough to..."
Neza cut in, "...even the white-haired Northerner"
"You an Sir Nozick, I don’t know what happened but Rein took care of it alone..." She paused tightened her fist and continued, "I’ve seen many beast will manifestation but I swear I’ve never seen his. He was ...no one could define how strong it is...Sir Rein is severely injured, his leg bones have been severely fractured"
Jon’s eye widened, ’dammit I told him not to push himself too hard’ Jon still managed to compose himself in this situation, Zolin ran out of the crowd, he had no composure to even begin with and was being dramatic, Neza looked at him and gsve6a face of irritation which Zolin now cared less about, the him back at the empire and the him now were different Zolin. Quetz kicked his ass, "gets your shit together it’s not like he’s dead"
Jon faced Quetz, "We’ll be leaving things in your hand, I have to go with Zolin to Rein imdiately"
Quetz was surprisingly calm and collected, "I understand I’ll take care of everything around here"
Jon held on Zolin and both of them was enveloped by large dark clothing which disappeared into thin air.
’This bastard is he hiding his skills’ Quetz had never seen Zolin talk about a skill that could space travel so her guess was Zolin was trying to hide his skills but he didn’t seem to be hiding it from Jon and she knew if Jon knew Rein would also know. ’Co to think of it, it all started with just the three of them’ She looked around, the crowd murmured amongst themselves, Neza’s face was filled with envy seeing the way Rein’s party mbers were so emotional about him.
But he dismissed the thought. ’I have no luxury to be desiring such nonsense’
"Well then, the Ervale party would be taking custody of the Fangdorr leader, at-"
The whole crowd began to yell at him, he was ashad and disgraced, ’perhaps I should never have said that’
Goldevia and Natasha shook their heads in disappointnt.
********
News of the Fangdorr’s defeat quickly spread around, both alliances were disappointed they sat around doing while the rest fought had, but they were never concerned anyways since the day the two alliances were ford they have begun a different movent from the rest of the students, they have taken a different path from the rest of the student hence they were less concerned but they still had to keep their place in the academy or the real objective of both alliance would be futile.
Nonek stood in the middle of the Resilience alliance round table to give his report of what exactly happened.
The round tables comprised of students like them too, but Nonek had no idea why, these students were far stronger, Nonek needed to know what exactly was the alliance about this was the curiosity that made him join at first, 11 parties rged and ford two alliances that are friendly towards each other leaving the remaining parties in school to be fifteen.
The round table consisted of seven students and they were called apostles, they wore a veil over their faces and used voice-altering magic each ti they spoke so even amidst the alliance their identity was unknown. Nonek fell in love with the system the alliance built, prioritizing the students’ growth and pouring resources into making them stronger just what Kroft wanted to take action.
"We demand your statent, B1" one of them talked. they often regarded themselves with codes hence they didn’t care about knowing each other na, it was more like a cult than a party.
"A3 was careless 7th apostle, B1 does acknowledge the alliance effort to make the students stronger but B1 also strongly thinks A3 was using it to his advantage at the expense of the lives of others, the raid was bound to fail from the begin, A3 knew this and still ventured ahead careless, B1 strongly thinks A3 needs to be punished for wrong judgent and careless treatnt of his comrade’s life"
"Hmm I do agree with him, any apostles that think otherwise"
There was silence.
"What about you? 9th apostle, you are A3’s sponsor"
"I am deeply disappointed in him"
"So are you just going to throw
out!" Kroft badged in, with swords in his hands. "What do I care anyway, you all are a bunch of fanatic students, saying you have been chosen for the greater good and exercising stupid and worthless authority over the rest of us when you all are just like us, he swung his sword and swiftly cut down the two that approached him from outside the tent.
The 9th Apostle stood up, his long dark gown fluttered as he moved towards Kroft, the black veil covering his face made it hard to tell what kind of expression he had, "I’ll take care of this irregularity"
"like hell, I’ll let you!!" Kroft dashed at him intending to cut him down but he crashed to his knees as the 9th apostles stretched forth his hands, and his skin sharply rots till his bones scattered on the ground. "...what a dirty soul he has"
Nonek was surprised and scared, he had never seen them in action so he never anticipated that they were going to be so strong.
The 4th apostle spoke, "kneel B1..." Nonek quickly fell to his knees.
"I bestow upon you the title A5, gather more achievents and climb the ladder, I am willing to sponsor you" He pointed one of his fingers and a speck of gold dust flowed from the ring in that finger into Nonek’s nostrils,
He imdiately felt a rush of power and strength.
’what...life energy’ Gezrou was flustered at how a human could be using energy force Nonek asked him, ’what is it? what is life energy?’
.’nevermind’
’...hmm’
The 4th apostle continued, "I have high expectations for you A5, do not disappoint "
"Seeing as you are being sponsored by an apostle in the higher strata, luck must be on your side" The 9th apostle spoke.
"A5 confidently says to you, that up until now and even from now forth, A5 as only used his pure strength and will and do not believe in concept such as luck"
"haha..." The 9th apostle left out short laughter, ’that was supposed to be sarcasm...well thanks to you I’ve lost a disciple’
Nonek withdrew from the presence of the apostles he staggered as he reaches outside the tent they were in, be bent on his knees and sighed to floor as he thought, ’they are monsters, how did student manage to be so strong ...such pressure ....is the school even aware of them..." He stood up and left.
