anwhile, in the Dragon Clan’s territory.

The Torch Dragon, transford from Mael Valerius, tore through the clouds, diving down with fierce winds, stirring the mist in the valley into an endless churn.

"Greetings, Young Master."

The Dragon Clan Guards instantly recognized him and ca over to pay respects.

Just then, a commanding voice ca from the tallest peak: "Rebellious child, you still rember to co back?"

Mael Valerius landed and transford into a human form, a trace of impatience flickered in his dark golden eyes.

He looked up toward the source of the voice, only to see the Clan Leader, Horace Valerius, had appeared at so point, his gaze frosty.

"Father."

Mael Valerius called softly, without any emotion in his voice.

Horace Valerius instantly appeared in front of him, the pressure of the dragon’s might palpable: "Three years, you’ve been gone for three full years. The wedding pact with the Phoenix Clan, you treat it like child’s play? The affairs of the clan you’ve abandoned, suddenly returning today, what’s your purpose?"

Mael Valerius’ lips curled into a cold smile: "Wedding pact? When did I agree to it? Isn’t that thing crushed by ?"

"Outrageous!"

Horace Valerius struck and shattered the boulder beside him, "This is a pact made between two clans, not for you to behave recklessly."

"Rules?"

Darkness surged in Mael Valerius’ eyes, lips curled in mockery: "When the Sorceress cast the Lost Face Curse on Luna, why weren’t rules discussed?"

Horace Valerius’ face briefly showed tension, but it quickly returned to normal as he coldly replied: "Who told you this?"

The Lost Face Curse had been ordered by the witch doctor, unbeknownst to anyone, he was actually the mastermind behind it.

In his view, a female from the Lower Domain had no right to be his son’s mate.

If it wasn’t for saving his son in childhood, he would’ve sent soone to kill her long ago.

Even her Wolf Tribe would have been obliterated.

Mael Valerius suddenly laughed, his expression cold, lips curved in ridicule: "I figured it out myself, can’t I?"

With that, he transford into a specter and rushed toward the Hall of the Shaman God.

"Boom..."

The door of the Hall of the Shaman God was blasted open with enormous force.

When Mael Valerius rushed into the inner chamber filled with murderous intent, the Sorceress was dripping dark red liquid into the Crystal Ball.

"Young Master?"

The Sorceress wondered why he suddenly ca here, filled with murderous aura.

She frowned, just about to speak.

Her neck was suddenly gripped by dragon claws, imdiately making it hard to breathe.

"Young... Master, what is the aning of this?"

The Sorceress’ eyes widened; her wrinkled old face instantly turning crimson, breathing hard, trembling trying to speak.

In that mont, she seed about to suffocate.

"Who gave you the courage? To dare cast the Lost Face Curse on Luna, huh? You really deserve to die."

Mael Valerius’ expression was icy, dark golden eyes raging with killing intent, fingers tightening steadily.

The Sorceress’ breathing beca more labored, her neck, like dead wood, crackled under the pressure.

The old woman’s cloudy eyes bulged, her voice squeezed out in shattered syllables: "Clan... Leader..."

"Snap!"

The black-robed old woman’s head fell limply, like an old crow with its neck snapped.

The Dragon Clan’s Great Witch never thought, even to her death, she would die at the hands of the Young Master she carefully assisted.

Mael Valerius tossed aside the body.

He did not notice the Sorceress’ dying smile, eerie and twisted, her words like venomous snakes brokenly uttered: "The one you love... died long ago... now that one... is..."

Before finishing, her life breathed out completely.

He suddenly looked at the Sorceress, madly grabbing her not yet stiff shoulders, "What did you say?"

The old witch had already died, an eerie smile frozen on her lips.

Mael Valerius stood frozen, as the words "The one you love died long ago" from the Sorceress drilled into his ears like poisonous snakes, leaving him bewildered.

Unable to grasp what happened.

Luna was visibly alive and well, what did she an by died long ago?

"What do you an by died long ago?"

He violently shook the corpse, Dragon Scales erupted from beneath his skin, dark golden eyes flared with crimson: "Make it clear, what is it all about, explain clearly—"

Yet the Sorceress was dead, unable to respond no matter how shaken.

After a long ti, he finally stopped shaking.

Staring blankly at the Sorceress’ corpse.

Suddenly recalling what Luna asked at The Redstone Gorge: "If I’m not the one you think I am..."

His heart tightened violently, dark golden eyes grew even redder, Dragon Horns appeared faintly atop his head, scales multiplied on his body.

In his mind, a picture suddenly erged from when Luna was five.

A little girl with braids, wiping tears, secretly applying corrosive grass juice on his thorn-scratched wounds.

The little dragon quivered from pain.

She whimpered saying: "Does it hurt a lot? Let blow on it, if I blow, it won’t hurt as much. Matron said this herb can heal, you’ll get better quickly..."
