(From Blue's Perspective)

"What you are saying is the truth. Not entirely, but yes, there are so truths in it. I wanted you here and that's why I went to your son. I also want your son though. I want him to realize his true worth. I want him to know what he can do, how far and beyond can he go. But I can actually live without him. I mainly want you here. I want you to fulfill my wish," Azure said.

"Why? What do you want to give you a… grandchild?" I asked. I could understand little of what he actually wanted.

"I will keep that child here, with and you can have your whole family back then. I will not intervene."

"Ridiculous!"

"I am telling you the truth," Azure stated calmly. "I am not lying to you. I will not lie to you about anything."

"There is more to this wish, isn't there?" I asked. I could feel it. I could almost hear the condition. "What is it? Why don't you co clear about this?"

"You will know when it's ti."

"If I were to give you a grandchild, I would need to get pregnant and as I have said many tis before, I need my husband for that."

Azure stared at . I stared right back.

I saw sothing in his eyes. The answer that I had been looking for.

"No," I murmured. Before I could say anything else, soone banged on the door.

I knew who it was just by the sound of the banging.

I opened the door and it turned out I was right. It was my son.

His black eyes were angry as he glared at Azure.

"So, that's why you pretended to want . You wanted my mother all along!" Demian yelled.

"Co now. I also want to teach you how to use your power. It's a win-win situation for all of us," Azure said. He seed amused. I wanted to kick him, slap him, kill him.

"All of us? I don't see how it's beneficial for Mum," Demian said. "You want her to get pregnant again? Go through the sa kind of pain that she went through before? How is that a win-win situation for her?"

"She went through this before. She knows how to handle it. Your mother can handle a lot of pain. Another pregnancy is nothing," Azure said.

"Azure, I cannot do this. I know what you are thinking about. I won't do this," I said.

"Let Mum go," Demian said. "She leaves today. She has nothing to do here. Do what you want with ."

"Are you fucking stupid?" I was disappointed in my son. I thought he was smarter than this. "What the fuck are you begging him for? You think he will take pity? Seriously, Demian. Your father and I taught you to be better than that."

Demian grabbed my hand and started pulling with him. He turned to face Azure.

"I want my mother to stay with ," he said. "In my chamber. If you won't let her leave, then let her stay with all the ti."

"That I cannot guarantee," Azure said simply. "But I can make sure that your mother is safe. And I can allow you two to spend so ti together and talk without anyone else presence. Other than that, I cannot guarantee anything."

"This is ridiculous!" Demian growled.

I was done with them both. I did not want to see any of them, to be honest. Demian brought this on both of us. I was angry at him for that. And Azure kept making things worse and worse. At so point, you would think that things could not possibly get worse than this when Azure would show you otherwise.

"Let's talk, Demian, okay?" I said, squeezing Demian's hand. "Then we will see. There is no point of…-" I gestured among the three of us- "this."

Azure kept smiling as Demian led to his chamber. His chamber was bigger than mine. It was not well-lit though. The flickering of the candles was making my head hurt. I was getting dizzy.

I sat on his bed while he closed the door. He faced and sank to his knees in front of . He bowed his head.

"I'm sorry, Mum. I'm sorry. I never should have… I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have trusted him." He was begging for forgiveness like his life depended on it. This was how I knew that he was not as much like Detrius as I previously thought. Dem would never apologize like this. It was one of Dem's biggest faults. Apologizing did not an weakness and he did not know that. No, the worst part was that Dem thought he was not to be blad. Well, it turned out that at least, our children did not get that bad quality from him.

'Bree is like Dem. She is just like him. She is young and is already showing signs.'

I ignored that thought. Bree had a lot of growing up to do before I could judge her.

"It's done, Demian," I said calmly. "There is no point in forgiving you now."

"Please, Mum…"

"Co sit beside ," I said.

Demian did as he was told. He sat beside . I took his hand in mine. It was bigger than my hand. He was built like his father. Well, that was good. It was good that he was not short like .

"Listen," I said as calmly as I could, although I did not feel calm at all, "I cannot forgive you for what you did."

Demian looked at like I said the worst thing in the whole world. But he needed to face the reality. He needed to know that he would not be forgiven no matter how shitty kind of things he did.

"What you did is a really bad thing. Not just bad. You are not a kid anymore, Demian. You should have known better. What is power anyway? Is it more important than loyalty? Than family? Than everything else? Then, I won't say that you have done the wrong thing because if power is everything to you, then you did the right thing by betraying your family.

"But you asked for forgiveness. It ans that power is not everything to you. It is not enough to make you leave your family. In that case, Demian, I have the right to say that you have made a grave mistake. And, I don't want to say it, you cannot undo this mistake either since we are already deep in the hole and Azure has us in his grasp."
