(From Cyan's Perspective)
"He needs to be destroyed," lina said urgently.
"Who?" I asked. "That small child who is not even a month old?"
I could not keep the mockery from my voice.
"He is dangerous. You don't understand. I can see it. His future. He is… dangerous."
I looked at lina, a woman in her mid-twenties. She was a dark mage, but one that hated Azure. Azure killed her brother who was also a dark mage. The reason was never clear. But I guessed it was just a random thing.
lina had a very special power. She, although very rarely, could have visions of the future.
"He will be the death of many," lina said. "We must get rid of him."
"I am not killing my sister's son," I said.
"Your sister's son, but he is dangerous. You must understand, Cyan," she pressed. "I also don't want to kill a child. But we have no choice."
"We have. We just let him be. We don't have to care what he does with his, whatever it is, power later on. I won't be alive till then, so why bother?"
"You really don't care about our types. Not Azure or his followers, but the other dark mages. He will destroy them, I'm telling you."
"Forget it, lina. If he destroys them, it's fine. He is just one person. If dark mages cannot deal with just one, then they deserve to die anyway," I shrugged. "Now, tell , why Azure is after the kid."
"I don't know that. Millie told him sothing."
Millie was lina's twin sister with the sa ability. But they did not get the sa visions. They got them at different tis too and their visions were said to be inevitable, though not many believed so.
"Does your sister know anything about it?" she asked.
"No. I haven't talked to her in a while, but it looks like I am going to," he said. "But I heard about it from her husband. He sent a letter and asked about sothing."
Mainly, he did not send a letter to inform about what happened, but to ask about what to do in case Blue did not turn back to her human form. I did not know what to do. It entirely depended on the dark mage. Besides, I had no experience about whatever she could turn into. After all, no matter how much I tried, I could not transform.
"She killed all of them."
"Her husband did too, but yeah, she did kill them. Obviously, she wasn't going to just sleep through the night when her son was getting kidnapped."
"I kind of idolize her, although she is younger than ," she said. "I an, how many people can fight like her? So brave and fierce. Yes, she was given that power, but she has learned how to use it like that. And that dragon… Even Azure could never make a living creature when he has more power than her. It's impressive!"
"If you t her in person and talked to her, you wouldn't say so," I grumbled. "She is weird and sotis, gets on my nerves."
"But she is good, isn't she?"
I thought for a while. "Yeah, she is."
I teleported to the palace the next day. lina gave all the news she could about Azure. She went back as soon as possible, so no one found out about her.
I t Blue's husband first, who asked about the exact sa thing he ntioned in the letter.
"I have no idea what to do externally to bring her back. It all depends on her," I said, a little irritably. This subject always pissed off. "If she doesn't want to co back, she won't."
"She does want to co back. Why won't she? She has a family, okay? She has a husband and two kids. Of course, she wants to co back," he said forcefully.
"Then, she will every ti she transforms. It all depends on her as I said. If she wants to co back, she will, no matter what."
"Are you saying it was difficult last ti because part of her did not want to co back?" he asked. He sounded concerned and angry at the sa ti. Only he could sound like two emotions at the sa ti.
"Maybe," I shrugged. "It can happen."
I decided to ss with him a little.
"Mind is a very peculiar thing, you see. You never know what's going on in soone's mind. Soone can even plot your murder and you might not know."
"I know about everyone other than her," he said. I did not get the reaction I hoped for, so I was a little dejected. Sotis, it felt like he could read minds.
"Where is she?"
"Why?" he asked. It was like he was interrogating .
"I am literally her brother."
"But you don't really care about her that much." Stay connected with My Virtual Library Empire
"Maybe not. Listen, I have to talk to her about sothing. I am her brother. What do you have to worry about?"
He then took to her.
Blue was in what looked like a kid's room. There were two cribs, but I knew for sure that none of the kids slept here, but in the Royal bedroom with their parents.
"Look who is here," King Detrius said, although she has turned towards the door beforehand.
"Oh, Cyan, it's been a while," she said.
My sister looked very tired. It was like she had not slept in a week.
The older one, Dion, was running around the room with toys. He was placing them here and there and sotis brought them to his mother. The other one was very little and in Blue's arms.
Blue motioned for to co closer, which I did.
"Take a seat wherever you can," she said, almost in a whisper. "And don't talk loudly. Demian doesn't like loud noise, including loud voice."
I was shocked when I looked at the child called Demian. He was a splitting image of his elder brother when he was only two weeks old. How could two kids look so similar?
Besides, how could two kids look like a single parent so much? None of Blue's kids looked anything like her. It was like only their father made them.
"You haven't t Demian, have you? So, this is Demian Easton, our second son, two weeks and three days old. And Demian, this is your uncle Cyan, Mama's brother."
"How can he understand that? That's so dumb."
"I am saying because it's only fair. That's how you introduce two people. Demian doesn't need to understand everything yet."
"Oh?"
I was not a fan of children, but her children were exceptionally good looking. Had to say King Detrius had so good genes.
"You probably can guess why I'm here," I said.
"I can guess," she said. "However, I prefer you telling yourself. That will make much more sense."
