Abrielle’s plea broke the last of Cedric’s restraint. In a blink, his warmth pinned her against the alley wall, his lips crashing against hers in a kiss that carried both apology and claim.

It started to snow lightly around them, but the cold didn’t bother them the slightest. They were in their own world. His heat surrounded them, like a little fire was lit around them..

Her hands rose instinctively, ant to push him away, but instead they fisted into his cloak, dragging him closer. The heat of his body devoured the chill of the winter air, his kiss leaving no space for resistance, only fire.

Abrielle gasped against his mouth, her back pressing into the cold stone to anchor her spinning thoughts. The coldest was a contrast from the heat she felt emanating from him.

Her hands clutched his shirt pulling close desperate reluctant as if he would disappear from her hold

But Cedric was not going anywhere, once her lips, which were cold and tasted salty from the lingering taste of her tears she had shed for him. Once he tastes those lips again.

He rembered that desire felt like it once more. They did not need words to speak of their longing. This was enough to break away whatever little resistance he had left.

His lips moved with a rough desperation, almost punishing, almost pleading, and she could feel every ounce of the tornt he had been holding back.

She hated him. She missed him. She wanted to scream, and yet her lips parted to him, giving in despite her own pride. It felt like she finally found a part of her she had been desperately searching for.

His tongue swept against hers, demanding, claiming, and her knees nearly buckled from the force of it.

"Cedric," she whispered like a song of long, a soft moan slipping out of her lips once his fiery tongue finally t her. Hot and possessive. He humd against her, ready to suck whatever little breath she had left in her lungs.

Cedric’s hand slid to the small of her back, holding her as if he feared she might vanish again, while the other tangled into her hair, tilting her head to deepen the kiss. His breath mingled with hers, warm and ragged, as though he was drinking in her soul.

Abrielle trembled, but not from anger anymore. Her fury bled into sothing else, sothing hotter, weaker. The sound she made was half protest, half surrender, muffled into his lips.

He pulled back only for a heartbeat, his golden eyes darkened, hungry, the look of longing in her eyes. The way they glared at him while still clinging to him. He smirked at her and her cheeks flushed. "I was expecting a welcoming kiss like this." He whispered in her ears, before sniffing her hair.

The distinct rose and strawberry scent which put the storm in her at rest. It felt like ho.

While breathing the sa air, he felt more at ho than anywhere else. It was intoxicating how badly she affected him, but he didn’t hate it either.

Abrielle smirked at him, "Where were you expecting to run your arms and welco you with a big kiss?" she sneered, listening to his chaotic heartbeat, which was not any better than her situation.

"Sothing like that but I did earn that slap." He chuckled. His laugh was soft in her ears. It was the greatest assurance that this wasn’t a dream or her vivid daydream.

She finally smiled, her eyes staring straight at him. Cedric’s laugh died once he sensed his intense gaze. His heart skipped a beat, feeling the emotions in her glassy blue eyes.

"It’s not too late to fix it, but this doesn’t change the fact that I am still mad at you." She said in a firm voice, Abrielle stood on her tiptoes struggling to reach out for his neck.

Cedric held her waist, lifting her off the floor before her lips crashed into his again. She took the initiative this ti and dear goddess his little ginger had grown so much...

Cedric purred into her mouth. His heart was brimming with pride and satisfaction. He let her take the lead and pour everything she was holding back on him.

This kiss was worse, wilder, fiercer, burning with everything they both refused to say aloud.

Her heart pounded violently in her chest, her hands held onto his neck, gripping him like he was both her greatest enemy and her only salvation.

The alley, the cold, the world beyond them, it all vanished beneath the blaze they set against each other. The distance parade chants and music were far echoed now to her.

And for the first ti since his return, Abrielle let herself fall into it. Into him, it was a silent confession.

A horse neigh caught their attention just when she was about to run out of breath and they were both drawn out of their world. It was Abrielle’s parade horse, and it started stomping its hooves on the ground and flaring its nose at them.

Abrielle glanced at the horse with an amused look. His eyes glinted while she still held onto him. "It seems soone can’t bear to watch." She teased..

Cedric’s face crooked in his neck, his nose brushing against the fla tattoo on her neck. The tattoo was weirdly glowing, recognising his presence.

"Then we should take this elsewhere." He suggested, his breath was hoarse. She could feel the desire emanating from his skin. One he had held back for just so long. His mber was hot against her stomach.

And dear, she wanted him as much as he wanted her. She released a rough breath barely holding on to her last thread of reason before they end up being entangled under the moon. "It’s my stead, we can’t let him, Cedric. " She reminded him.

Knowing he could impatiently teleport her away from her without the horse.

Cedric stepped back, hissing irritably. He muttered a few words of cusses. Abrielle’s legs were swept off the floor. A short scream slipped out as her heart skipped a beat.

Cedric carried her against his chest, her butt resting on his single arm effortlessly.. Abrielle instinctively held her neck. He approached the white horse and secured her on the saddle.

"Hold on tight." He gave a short warning. It felt like the ground under them shifted. Dark energy, like smoke, circled around them. The horse was startled, clearly not used to teleportation or Cedric’s dark energy.

Abrielle squealed, pressing her eyes together while Cedric tried to keep the horse at bay. The stead was too frightening to relax and before the black smoke cleared, he galloped pushing Abrielle off his back

.

Cedric caught her on ti, and the horse broke off his control just in ti. The dark energy cleared, and they appeared within the high walls of Aurelius Castle.

The large estates were a bit empty since the majority of the security was busy at the parade. Abrielle was startled and amused seeing the horse run off. "There is no need to worry. He won’t be escaping the walls." Cedric inford her just before a strong wind surrounded them and he took off from the ground.

The princess gasped, then held onto her husband. Her wide eyes stared back at him dumbfounded. She wasn’t expecting him to suddenly take off.

His wings looked different as if they had gotten larger and more powerful. Abrielle stared at his face under the moonlight while he flew to the balcony next to their room.

His wings were not the only thing that changed. It was subtle, and Cedric was hiding it perfectly well, but she could sense it. He had grown stronger, way stronger than he was before. She could sense it from every energy pulsating from him.

Cedric was completely different from how he was when he left. Her smile grew..she closed her eyes and rested her ears against his chest. She was glad he was fine.

He wasn’t the only one who had grown. Abrielle was looking forward to showing him how much she had also improved during this period.

The wind whistled around them, blowing through her hair. It felt like a perfect song combined with his periodic heartbeat. Everything felt perfect that mont flying over Aurelius castle

Cedric didn’t bother about anyone seeing them because they couldn’t. He camouflaged with the darkness perfectly. He slowly descended on the balcony with her in his arms. Once his feet touched the marble floor his wings disappeared.

The doors opened on their own and Cedric walked into the room. He placed her over the bed, and his fingers rubbed her cheeks. Soft sparks lingered on his fingertips. She looked like an angel when her eyes were closed.

Seeing her peaceful face surged up his desire, and his mber twitched within his slacks. He rembered the last ti she took the initiative and his body didn’t react. How terrified he was that day

That was the past and tonight he was going to show her how much he missed her. He captured her lips again, this ti he was gentle, trying to savour each mont..

Sothing felt off and he pulled away. His gaze was watching her keenly. A defeated smile graced his lips.

"You are indeed a dangerous little one," Cedric mumbled. His wife had fallen asleep leaving him hanging.
