Abrielle ran into the kitchen through the back entrance her sudden entry through the back caused the maids to panic. "I need soone to help this cat imdiately." She announced her intentions drawing everyone attending to the stray cat clinging onto the princess in her arms.

It has eyes that would draw anyone to help it. Listening to their mistress Instructions they quickly got into action. Abrielle didn’t leave the cat’s side the entire process despite having loads of paperwork she had to go through.

The cat’s blood was from a large bite mark on its leg, but luckily, the leg wasn’t broken. After it was cleaned and wrapped, Evelyn gave it a quick al it gingerly ate.

"It is such a sweet thing," Evelyn said, running her fingers through the cat’s soft fur. It was super soft and comforting, to touch. She understood why the princess could not stop. Abrielle was also squatting, rubbing its fur.

"Do you plan on keeping it?" Evelyn inquired; the princess’s hands froze. "Am I allowed to do that?" She asked Evelyn, her eyes basically pleading.

"I see no problem in it, although the prince has never kept one before I don’t think he would oppose the idea." Hearing that made Abrielle’s eyes sparkle with excitent.

"I would love to have it kept in my room, then." She suggested Evelyn had a little frown on her face hearing Abrielle’s request. "Although the prince might not have an issue with you keeping a cat he might if you bring it to your room. " She stated her concern, hearing what the won were talking about. The cat glanced at Abrielle with its eyes wide and teary; even the kitten did not want to be too far.

"At least let it be close. That aside, I need to think about a na." She muttered trying to co up with one. It was a pure white cat, so she ca up with the most stereotypical na.

"What do you have in mind?" Evelyn asked; the little cat was already done eating, and Evelyn was cleaning up where it was eating. "How about Yuki?" She suggested.

"Yuki, I have never heard of it before, but it sounds like a nice na," of course, there was no way Evelyn must have heard of a na that wasn’t from this world. Yuki was a Japanese word aning snow and it felt perfect for a white cat Abrielle found in the middle of winter

"Yuki, then, do you like your na your na is Yuki?" She asked little Yuki, who rubbed its head against Abrielle’s hand, approving of the na. "I guess she loves her na. My little Yuki." Abrielle chid with a soft smile that sparkled with her eyes.

"It is actually a male, not a female cat ." Evelyn corrected Abrielle. She was an embarrassnt as a forr cat owner and couldn’t tell the difference between the genders. Now she understood why her cat died a few days after it was bought.

When she was six, her mother got her a cat as a birthday present after a year of begging, and the cat died 2 weeks later after being run over by a car. She cried for days after that, and of course, she never got another cat again because, according to her mother, it died due to her carelessness.

Even when she was old enough to get one she didn’t have the ti to take care of another living thing due to her schedule.

"So Yuki is a he, how cute." she praised, she was curious how a small cat was able to Walk all the way from deep inside the forest to the castle.

"Yes, he is; by the way, your Highness, you should get your dress changed. It is covered in cat blood. You don’t have to worry about Yuki. I will handle him." Evelyn suggested with a firm look. Abrielle knew she could not say no and hesitantly agreed.

"I will be back soon, behave while I am gone." Her hand rubbed Yuki’s head before getting on her feet. Yuki owed at her as he watched her move away.

A quick bath was prepared for her to clean off the blood. She had to go over her morning routine all over, but another light dress was chosen for her that didn’t require a corset.

Zoltana was among the maids helping her; Abrielle was seated in front of a mirror while Zoltana’s hands weaved through her hair as she brushed it. "We need to talk," Zoltana whispered into her ears. Abrielle’s eyes narrowed. Understanding I’m Zoltan, I wanted them to have so privacy.

"The rest of you can leave, Zoltana will finish up on her own." she waved the maids away. They obeyed the princess’s words, taking a bow before leaving. As soon as the last person was through the door Zoltana spoke.

"The arrangents are almost done," Zoltana vaguely ntioned while braiding Abrielle’s lovely ginger hair. "Do you an the unsealing?"

"Yes, I have confird everything. All that is left is finding a perfect day to..." Zoltana was explaining her arrangents when the door was suddenly pushed open after an urgent knock.

It was Elias he hurried walled into the room. "I am sorry for intruding unannounced, but his highness demands your attention imdiately," Elias said urgently; Abrielle’s brows pulled together because Cedric was not ant to return anyti. He should still be in the palace.

"Cedric is back," Abrielle ntioned puzzled why. "Yes, he is, and you need to see him imdiately." Elias urged again, which made Abrielle have a bad feeling in her guts, but she followed after Elias. She didn’t really have a choice.

Elias led her to a door she knew led to Cedric’s chambers which left her more confused. Why was he calling her here? The door was pushed open, and Abrielle stepped in, followed by Elias. Cedric’s chamber was large, containing several rooms, including another private study.

"This way," Elias said, walking quickly and taking her to another door. He opened the door and urged her to go in. Abrielle was sceptical and wondered why Cedric wanted her urgently, but she guessed she would have her answers after seeing Cedric.

She hesitantly entered the room but was unable to see much because of the mist and vapour that filled it. It was his private bath house with an indoor spring. The door was shut behind her the banging sound made her heart skip a beat.

"Cedric," she called out, still unable to understand why he wanted to see in a bathhouse. She didn’t get an answer. This felt creepy, and she changed her mind, turning to get the door.

Before she could reach for the door, she was stunned, pulled, and slamd against sothing wet. It was Cedric. His entire body was dripping water, and he was completely naked; Abrielle’s heartbeat skyrocketed. What was happening here?!

There was this heated look in his eyes that seed to have lit sothing in her. Instinctively, she knew she should get away from a naked man whose body was abnormally hot; Cedric beat her to it when he slamd her back against the wall, and his naked body pressed against her as he captured her lips. Sothing was pressing against her stomach, he was freaking hard.
