’Hidden Vestiges of Physicality’

Thanks to my reading of Arnar’s mories, on more than one occasion, I had a rudintary idea of the potential of this Skill, along with why it had such a massive price tag.

If I could extract people’s skills through their mories, it would be one thing, but whenever I looked through Arnar’s mind, all I saw was a blurry haze when it ca to this Skill, and all I could gather were bits and pieces of the changes the man underwent when using his Circulation Skill.

Most Circulation Skills only work on one of a person’s physical stats, such as how the one I created nurtured only my Intellect.

While there was so precedence of specified Skills increasing more than one stat, this one not only nourished both Physical Offense and Defense, but there was a slim chance of other things growing very slightly, setting it in a higher bracket than other skills, but that wasn’t all.

As its na implies, it would reveal the full hidden potential of a person’s body, and the higher one’s Racial Classification, the more hidden strength could be found in the body of a being.

Since Arnar wasn’t human but one of the Myriad Races, he naturally had a different genetic makeup and, thus, a higher potential of power hidden within his genes.

’And now, I, as a 6C existence, should be able to benefit greatly from this Skill.’ Running my fingers over the raised lettering again, committing its texture to mory since the book would soon vanish from the world, I steadied my thoughts.

’Stored within the pages of this thin, golden booklet is the key to making up for my one weakness in the future, but enough of that, let’s get to it.’

Laying down on my back and pulling my blankie to cover my body, I held the book over my face, opened it, and began reading.

Like what had transpired with the Technique book, my eyes glazed over, and soon, I found myself standing not in a blank open room but, this ti, in a vast, ever-expanding plain.

Miles of green fields, trees, and even a babbling brook could be spotted in the distance, and the scenery was enough to present a calming environnt, one which would allow for optimal learning.

"Hm, this is…different from what I expected," I mused while walking around and observing the scenery.

"And it looks like I’m still in my kid body, to boot," glancing down at my childish attire, I rolled my eyes before noticing a figure sitting off in the distance under what I could only describe as the largest tree I’d ever seen.

’Oh? Are we getting the Old Man Teacher trope,’ I thought while making my way through the field towards the person resting under the tree.

Sure enough, upon reaching the said tree, I noticed an old man wearing a woolen robe. If I had to describe him in one or two words, it would be Wisened or Ancient Mage.

Arriving at the foot of the tree, the old man, who was sitting on the ground with his eyes closed, stirred slightly before opening them and examining from head to toe.

"Hmmm, I didn’t expect soone so young to co for my legacy…" he said in a voice filled with years and years of experiences over a long life.

"Interesting, so young, one, no almost two years old, yet your body is that of a four or five-year-old child…hm…ah…I see, so you’re a Sixth Classification Race, intriguing." While speaking, he stood up slowly, the old man’s bones creaking and popping with each movent, revealing him to be stunningly tall, if I had to guess, well over eight feet.

"Your eyes speak volus of intelligence, which I find unusual for soone so young; why is that?" Leaning forward to get a better look at , he asked.

"What can I say? I grew up fast," lacing my words with sarcasm and underlying aning; I glanced up at the tall, old man unflinchingly.

"Hardly young one, your words say one thing, but your soul says another…Ti Magic is radiating from your mind and soul; hmmm, it looks like Arkadia is up to her old tricks again…"

In an instant, my façade crumbled as I looked into the man’s deep, abyssal green eyes for answers.

"Hah, you didn’t think yours was the first incident of Arkadia bringing warriors back in ti and giving them a chance at survival; I will say it’s quite rare but not unheard of." Wearing a crooked smile, the old man stood up fully and began walking away from the tree, indicating that I would follow.

"Although no one knows why it does the things it does if there is anything we can say about Arkadia, it’s that it is a Fair existence. The situation on your planet must have been extrely lopsided, and as its host, your people weren’t nearly worthy enough to contain its eminence."

"Sensing that its host was unable to continue going on, it gave you a one-ti offer, probably issuing so special item, and in turn, giving itself a chance to grow along with you, am I right." Glancing over his shoulder, down at , for a response, he paused.

"Yeah, that’s correct. I can’t speak on the reason, but Arkadia indeed sent a number of us back in ti." Practically running to keep up with the long strides of the old mage, I answered.

"Well, you are lucky then, and because of that, your body will be able to handle my Skill; if you were weaker, let’s say anything under 3rd Classifcation, your body would explode from the pressure applied by the Particle Circulation thod I developed."

’Well, that would have sucked,’ chuckling to myself, I followed the man for a while until we reached the edge of the babbling brook, or creek, which was surrounded by dense vegetation and trees.

"My ti here is limited, so although I wish to converse further and learn about your life experiences and culture, we must be hasty in your training. However, let warn you, learning my Hidden Vestiges of Physicality is no easy task, nor is it pleasant in the beginning." Gracefully sitting down with his back to the water, he motioned for to do the sa.
