Ruan Xia didn’t have anything to do all day. The manager didn’t assign her any tasks and only had her read a summary of the company as well as relevant information about it. The manager even very politely said to her that if she was feeling bored, she could leave work early. Anyways, the hours for employees in the Overseas Departnt were very free.
Ruan Xia assud the manager was letting her leave early because she saw that she had nothing to do, but for the manager to say words like that on her first day of work... Ruan Xia suppressed her surprise. Although she was feeling very bored and wanted to leave work early and go ho, she had the conscientiousness to stay at work until the manager left at least.

The manager continued to smile. “Then is your husband here? If he’s here, then you should take off early. There’s not much to do today. I’ll assign you a custor on another day. You’ll handle his orders.”
Ruan Xia imdiately nodded. “Okay, then I’ll leave first.”
“Go on.” The manager seed as if she wanted her to quickly leave work.
Ruan Xia tidied up, picked up her bag, and said goodbyes to her coworkers before heading out. She lingered at the front desk and happened to see motion inside the office from her peripheral vision. She looked and saw her coworkers and her manager packing up.
Could it be that they had the sa ideas as her? Waiting until soone else left first?
Well, she couldn’t play the waiting ga any longer. Song Tingshen and Little Wang were waiting for her in the parking garage.
After Ruan Xia said goodbye to the receptionist, she left the office. The elevator happened to co and she walked in. There was no one else in the elevator, so she took out her compact mirror and lipstick to fix up her makeup. In the past, she hadn’t viewed Song Tingshen as a man that she could have any developnt with, but after the day when he held her hand, she couldn’t help caring more about how she looked in front of him.
The parking garage for this building was quite large, and Ruan Xia’s sense of direction wasn’t good. After circling the parking lot, she saw Song Tingshen’s car. Just as she was about to quickly walk over there, the driver of a nearby parked car suddenly started his or her engine and the headlights of the car were also turned on. The parking garage had originally been quiet, and Ruan Xia was startled by the sudden noise.
She very conscientiously stepped aside for the black, off-road vehicle to let it leave first.
The windows of the car weren’t down. Due to the window film, she only saw the driver and didn’t get a clear look of the person in the back seat.
