229 Teasing
The road towards City H was finally cleared.
Even though there were still threats for the rank 7 giant mutated snake to co out again, they all wanted to rest. Not to ntion aside from the rank 7 giant mutated snake, there were still many giant mutated animals.
Thankfully, the people in City H could deal with the giant mutated animals.
They still have many awakened.
“This place is pretty good.” Marc nodded when he saw the houses that was dedicated for them all to stay for the ti being.
“Wang! Wang! Wang!”
Robby was also very excited. His master was usually very thrifty and rarely picked a good place for them to stay. Now that he had seen this area, he felt that this was the best place for a dog like him to live.
It was simply the best!
“Why do I feel that my dog is cursing ?” Marc looked at Robby suspiciously.

“Wang! Wang!”
Robby wagged his tail honestly.
Marc’s lips twitched when he heard Robby’s words and looked at his dog with resentnt. Who was the one who fed the dog most of the ti? And this dog still had the gut to actually say that he was only responsible for feeding?
Where’s your conscience?
But then again, does dog have a conscience?
Lotte laughed out loud when she saw Robby’s action. “At the very least, Robby is being honest that he only stays with you for food.”
“It’s not like that…” Marc looked at Lotte helplessly.
“Wang! Wang!”
At the side, Lucy couldn’t help herself and laughed out loud. She always liked dogs and seeing Robby acting like that, she really wanted to step forward and teased the good dog again.
She looked at Kate with arched her eyebrows as if asking why she wanted to stay away from Kyle for the ti being?
Now Lucy couldn’t play with Robby openly!
Kate noticed Lucy’s gaze and smiled bitterly. She just didn’t want others to think that Kyle was already so powerful that he could have another rank 6 in his team. If others were to find out that there were two rank 6 cooperating together in Kyle’s team, she could guess how much pressure he had to bear.
After all, there was no way others would let Kyle off after finding out that he had such high battle power. At the very least, they would want him to work for them and the military in order to make a good use of his team.
Kate didn’t want that.
She just wanted to live peacefully with Kyle as much as possible. There was no need to bother with the complicated political struggle and many others on the outside world.
Bang!
The door opened and two people walked inside. It was Petra and Robert. At this mont, they all looked very embarrassing with dirty body filled with unknown dirt or whatever. Not only them, their team behind them was not any better.
Kyle raised his head and saw Petra. He sneered. “Did you take a bath in the ditch?”
Petra looked at Kyle coldly. “It’s mud and not sh**!”
“Sa for .”
“Hmph!” Petra snorted and waved his hand, ordering the others to start moving to clean up as fast as possible. It was already very embarrassing enough for him to have this appearance.
Not to ntion that those with abilities were all very tired because they had exhausted their abilities. They didn’t have enough energy to clean themselves up.
Thankfully, this house was near the gate.
They didn’t need to be paraded on the street with such an appearance.
“Did you kill the rank 7 giant mutated snake?” Mr. Yuri asked the important question that he wanted to know.
“No.” Robert was annoyed. “There are two rank 7 giant mutated snakes. We’re ambushed and had to do whatever possible to run away. Thankfully, we still can seal the entrance so that those rank 7 giant mutated snake couldn’t get up.”
“Two?” Mr. Yuri frowned.
The others took a deep breath when they heard that. They were already very tired when they dealt with three rank 7 giant mutated snake. Now that they killed one, they found out that there were actually four rank 7 giant mutated snakes in total?
How was this going to be easier?
They all felt dismayed.
“In that case, I’ll go down with you tomorrow.” Kent volunteered. At the very least, he knew very well that he would be able to help a bit. His elent was wood and it might help to control the rank 7 giant mutated snake’s movent, even if it was only a little bit.
“Ok.”
“I’ll guard the outside and reinforce the defense first.” Mr. Yuri stood up. He didn’t want their rest to be disturbed with rank 7 giant mutated snake running loose, so he quickly stepped out.
“Ok.”
Kate looked at Petra and frowned.
While she herself knew that she might be more useful to the fight underground, she didn’t want to help Petra at all. Even though she was not clear about his dispute with Kyle, she wanted to side with Kyle more.
Behind Petra, Lotus walked inside. She also looked very embarrassing right now and felt very ashad to be here.
But upon entering, what greeted her was the eyes of Kate.
She stopped moving.
Fear sprouted from the bottom of her heart when she recalled her own death in the so called mory of hers.
Who would have thought that in this mission, this female devil actually appeared?
And they would have to stay in the sa location for a period of ti.
For Lotus, it was a terrifying nightmare.
But Lotus definitely couldn’t say anything and quickly lowered her eyes, running towards the bathroom as fast as possible. She didn’t want to stay even a second longer in the sa room as Kate!
