184 Communication Line Restored
Lucy was surprised. She looked at Kyle and then smiled brightly. “Got it. Don’t worry, I won’t do anything that will harm Kate.”
No way.
Kate has always been helping her to go through her most difficult tis in the university, so she would make sure that she could help Kate now. Anyway, being able to beco stronger is her priority.
She had been roaming alone in the wilderness, not being able to trust anyone because these people only wanted to take advantage of her. if not because she was of enhancent ability and could beat them up, she might have long beco extrely miserable and unable to even live properly.
The world had beco an extrely unsafe place to live.
But there was no other place that could be considered safe anymore.
Her reason to follow this group was mostly because she knew that they were strong and that her best friend was here. She wanted to get stronger faster so that she could truly protect herself.
She didn’t want to be put in embarrassing position ever again in her entire life.

“Good.” Kyle nodded and walked to the group again.
After hesitating for a bit, Lucy decided to co while following Kyle.
“She’s your student, right?” Lotte asked when she saw Lucy following behind Kyle. When they were in City D, that was how Kyle introduced them to Lucy when they first saw her.
“Yes.” Kyle glanced at Lucy. “She’ll be part of our team now.”
“Really?” Jake was surprised.
Dylan looked at Lucy and then nodded. “Nice to see you.”
“Our team is getting more and more complete.” Lotte giggled. “Let reintroduced ourselves again. Lotte, wind and wood elent. This is Jake, tal elent. Dylan, water elent. Little Kitty, space and healing elent. Marc, earth elent. Robby, tal elent. Oh right, our professor Kyle, fire and lightning elent.”
“I’m Lucy, enhancent elent.” Lucy smiled.
There were only a total of 12 elents in total with the last 2 were usually unknown, so only 10 had been recognized so far.
Black is hallucination or shadow elent, Chocolate or brown is wood elent, red is fire elent, orange is enhancent elent, yellow is earth elent, green is healing elent, blue is water elent, purple is lightning elent, grey is tal elent, white is wind elent, transparent is space elent, and transparent black is transformation elent.
If one were to pay attention carefully, their team had each of every elent. It ant that their formation could be made in accordance to the elents. Though, for so elents, two or more were wielded by the sa person.
The formation still needed to be adjusted.
But having more people from different elents were definitely sothing to be celebrated. After all, it ant that they would be covered in various sides and could hold on from various different attack.
All that needed to be done was for them to practice their coordination and team work.
“Complete,” Dylan comnted.
“Yeah, it’s very complete.” Lotte nodded in agreent.
Lucy smiled when the introduction was finished.
“In that case, when will we take new mission?”
“Next week.” Jake grimaced. “During this ti, we’re tasked to use our elents to help rebuilding the city and then used the crystals to recover our energy.”
“That will stabilize your rapid increase of power through the gem.” Kyle glanced at Jake.
They were all advancing rapidly through the use of these gems. While advancing faster had its benefit, their control would be relatively poorer. They had to learn how to control their ability better to be able to maximize their current rank.
It would be useless if they only increased their force.
What Kyle wanted was for them to get used to their ability faster, so that they could kill the giant mutated animals on the wilderness more effectively.
Jake looked at Kyle and sighed deeply. Whatever, he just knew that he had to trudge in this path a while longer and beco the builder that can be ordered left and right by everyone. He silently wondered why he couldn’t get more powerful elent?
Not that tal was not powerful, but he didn’t want to be ordered by the others so much!
The group talked happily.
In the afternoon, their phones rang, telling them that the communication line was already fixed.
Dylan looked at his phone and the text ssage that his father sent to him. His eyes turned a bit cold.
“What is it, Dylan?”
“Go back.” Dylan stood up and put his phone away. “I’ll be back soon.”
The others looked at each other but they nodded. “Ok.”
He was told that the communication line was already restored and that he had to gather with his family mbers. Bidding farewell to the others, he returned to his own ho.
“Will Dylan be fine?” Lotte asked, a bit worried when she watched Dylan’s back.
“Don’t worry. Even though those people in his family are sowhat annoying, Dylan can handle them.” Jake shrugged. “If he need help, I or Kyle can help out.”
Kyle nodded at Jake’s words.
He also trusted that Dylan would be able to settle this succession problem that had plagued him ever since before the red rain and these giant mutated animals appeared. But if Dylan ever needed help, the two of them wouldn’t hesitate to lend their helping hand.
They would not let Dylan faced it all by himself.
