Graven's eyes widened in alarm. "W-what are you planning, Laura?" he asked, bothered by her statent.
Laura breathed deeply. "I want to see Luke when he awakened. Then after that, I'll go sowhere so that you and your brother can continue where you left off. I don't want to be the cause of your rift with your brother," she said.
Graven shook his head. "No! You don't have to go away. We already agreed upon it. You and my brother can stay in Bay adow and raise a family peacefully. I won't get in the way of your relationship with him. The mont he's back, you will no longer see . I won't be visiting Bay adow anymore... unless... it's a matter between life and death," he said.
Laura was silent.
Graven was shaking his head vigorously. "Laura, I don't want to be the cause of my brother's pain. I also don't want you to be sad. You and my brother deserved a happy ending," he said, trying to convince her not to leave his brother.
She looked at him. "B-but how about you?"
Graven sighed. Sadness overflowed in his eyes. "If you and my brother can live a happy life and can create a wonderful family, then it's all worth it," he answered.
Laura stared at his face for a long ti. "I'm sorry...for you..." she said earnestly.
"I'm sorry for myself too," he said, teary-eyed.
Laura breathed deeply and fixed her stare on the floor, avoiding his gaze that's filled with sadness.
"Can I ask you sothing?" Graven asked. "I want you to answer honestly. Please?" he begged.
Laura raised her head and eyed him. "What is it?"
Graven looked at her eyes, his piercing gaze trying to reach her heart. "If you didn't et my twin brother first, will you fall for ? Will you love ?" he asked, holding his breath while waiting for her answer.

Graven smiled brightly. Happiness radiated from his face. "Thank you..." he said softly.
Laura saw the twinkle in his eyes. He was very much pleased with her answer.
Graven moved, and before she knows it, he lifted her and deposited her on his lap.

"I hope so," replied Rebecca. "Because if Laura and Graven were getting attached. It will be hard for them to avoid each other, and when Luke finally awakened, we will have a storm brewing in the distance," she said.
"Agree..." Horace replied.
One hour later.
They stopped over beside an eatery located a few ters away from the road.
When Rebecca and Horace went to the first carriage to inform the couple that they're stopping for lunch, they found out that the vehicle was empty!
"Oh, where are they?" Rebecca asked in a surprised voice.
Horace smiled. "I think they went sowhere on a date. What do you think?"
"Where did they go?" Rebecca's brows furrowed.
"To a place that they can have so privacy," Horace answered with a naughty grin.
"What are they going to do in that place?" Rebecca asked.
Horace chuckled and shrugged. "Let's ask them when they return," he said.
Rebecca sighed. She hopes that Laura guards herself against Graven's charm - for her sake and Luke.
Horace already had a wild guess running in his mind. But he chose to stay mum and wait for the things to unfold. He was confident that Lord Graven knew what he was doing and the consequences of his actions if he still pursue Laura despite the awareness that his twin brother Luke is returning to the land of the living soon. "Let's get inside the eatery along with the drivers and eat lunch," he told his companion.
"Okay." Rebecca nods her head.
They walked towards the eatery and entered the open-air establishnt to eat their als.

Graven had already awakened from his slumber. He stared at Laura's beautiful face with adoration shining in his eyes. She's still sleeping soundly. He smiled with contentnt in his heart. He wished they could be like this forever, but he knows they can't.
Unless...
