The following day.
Laura woke up at 7:00 in the morning. She didn't leave the bed yet. She stared at the ceiling, recalling what happened last night at the bonfire dinner party.
Oh boy, Graven can sing and plays the guitar real good! Horace also has a nice voice!
That was a fun evening bonding with them, enjoying good food, beautiful music, and nice company.
Today is another day. Ti to see Luke!
Laura rose to her feet and entered the bathroom.
A few minutes later, she exited the bathroom, there was knocking on the door.
"Miss Laura, breakfast is ready... I'll wait here outside your room," Sally said.
"Okay, I'll get out in a minute," she responded.
Laura styled her hair in a ponytail and exited the room.
They walked in the hallway and went downstairs, heading to the dining room. Sally stopped at the door while Laura proceeds to the dining room.
"Good morning, everyone!" she conveyed her greetings.
"Good morning, my dear!" Rebecca said replied.
Graven and Horace flashed their smile to Laura.
Laura lowered herself on the chair beside Rebecca.
They began eating in comfortable silence.
One hour later, they finished their breakfast.
Graven addressed Rebecca and Horace. "You can go ahead to the cave, you know the drill," he said.
"How about ?" Laura asked in confusion. She looked at Rebecca.
"It's okay, Laura. Graven will take care of you. You're in good hands," Rebecca said.
They exited the dining room area and went upstairs.
Laura saw Rebecca entering her room followed by Horace. Her brows knitted together in confusion. Huh? Why would Horace enter Rebecca's room?
She looked at Graven in confusion.
Inside the room.
Horace looked at Rebecca. "Let's go!" he said and reached for Rebecca's hand.
They disappeared from the room in seconds.
Outside.
Laura glanced at Graven. She didn't see any jealousy in his eyes, he looks like he wasn't affected at all. She was about to ask him why, but Graven entered the room, she followed him inside.
Her eyes widened in shock after seeing the empty room! Where did Rebecca and Horace have gone to? Why they disappeared all of a sudden? She walked towards the toilet and opened the door, it's empty as well!
She looked at Graven who's smirking in the corner. "Where are they?"
"Don't worry sister-in-law, they already went to the cave. I sent them early there so that they can scout the area if it's safe or not for us to be there," he explained.
"Huh? They went flying going to the cave?" Laura asked ignorantly.
Graven shook his head. "No. They teleport themselves to the cave," he answered.
"What does teleportation an?" she asked in confusion.
"Teleportation ans... traveling to another location...the act or process of moving of a person or object into another place that will only take a few seconds or minutes depending on the location," Graven explained. "Don't worry, you will experience it yourself later. You and I will teleport to the cave to save ti," he added.
"Okay..." Laura replied even if she finds the teleportation process puzzling. "So, what I'm going to do?" she asked.
"Go to your room and prepare yourself. Bring so clothes because we will rub oil all over our body to prevent the snakes from attacking us. Then we need to wash our bodies with soap in the stream to get rid of the oil, so we need dry clothes as well," he said.
"Okay," Laura responded and exited the room going in the direction of her room.
Graven closed the door of Rebecca's bedroom and walked towards his room.
Half an hour later. Graven was outside Laura's room. He knocked on the door twice. "Laura it's now ti for us to go to the cave!" he said.
Laura opened the door, she was wearing a knapsack on her back containing dry clothes, a towel, and a soap. "I'm ready..." she said.
"Let's do it inside the room," Graven said.
Laura opened the door wide for him to enter and closed it behind her.
Graven looked at Laura. "I want you to close your eyes and never open it until I say so...okay?"
Laura nodded her head. "Okay, I won't open my eyes no matter what," she said.
"Now give your hand," he ordered.
Laura raised a brow. "Huh?" she asked in confusion.
"How am I suppose to teleport with you to the cave if you don't give your hand?" Graven asked.
Laura bit her lip.
Graven looked at the hesitation in her face and chuckled. "Eh? Don't tell you're shy? We have done more than holding hands in the previous..." he didn't finish his statent.
Laura's face turned crimson red. She bit her lower lip.
"Hmm, sorry...I didn't an to remind you about the past," he said.
Laura pouted. "So...you are aware that...that..." Damn! She can't finish her words out of sha.
Graven understood what she ant with her question, he raised a brow. "Honestly, I do...when you and my brother make love in that bed, simultaneously we are making love also because it's my body that he was using. So literally, I hear every moan that escapes your mouth," he said, his eyes gleaming with raw lust and desire pulsating in his veins for her.
He advances towards her.
Laura stepped back.
Her eyes widened in shock. It dawned on her that she was making love to two guys at the sa ti? Holy cow! This is so shocking and appealing!
"Don't co near !" she shouted into his face.
Graven groaned upon seeing the fear leaping in her eyes. "Laura, calm down, relax...I'm not going to do anything bad to you. Don't worry, I won't ntion the past anymore..." he said.
Laura lowered herself on the edge of the bed. "I...I can't believe that I'm making love to two guys at the sa ti..." she said over and over again. She felt humiliated.
Graven sighed. He blas himself for ntioning the past at the most unfortunate tis. He raked his hands through his hair. "Hey...don't bla yourself, okay. It's just an accident," he said.
She glared at him. "Accident-? I feel humiliated!" she said.
Graven grabbed the chair and sat in front of Laura. "Let explain..." he released a deep sigh. "You don't have to feel humiliated, okay? I enjoyed making love to you and you enjoyed making love to and my brother, it's mutual enjoynt between the three of us. It's just and my brother, it's not other people...so there is nothing to be ashad of," he said trying to convince her to let go of the matter.
Laura was shaking her head. "You don't get it! I'm not okay with it!" she argued and yelled angrily at him.
Graven's mouth twitched. "What is not okay with you? You love my brother, so you did the deed with him as a symbol of your love and affection towards him, there is nothing wrong with it."
"I did, we did! But you and I...? What we have done? How can you explain it?" Laura said.
Graven sighed and rubbed his chin. This whole situation is making him tense. "I told you that I enjoyed making love to you. I love hearing you moaned while you are writhing in ecstasy beneath my body as I pumped my seed deliriously inside your silky wall. You have no idea I dream about those steamy scenes in my mind a thousand tis. But I know it's wrong - wanting and having feelings for you like this because my brother loves you. You are my brother's woman!" he said confessing his emotions and feelings to her.
Laura was stunned by her revelations.
Graven looked at her with gentleness and adoration in his eyes. "I adore you, okay? I always feel this way since the first ti I laid my eyes on you. But my brother got you first, I'm not going to stand in his way. So, now you know my feelings for you. Don't worry, I won't take advantage of you because I know who is the one inside your heart," he said sadly.
Laura was speechless. His outpouring of emotion shocked her. He's always been treating her with a cold shoulder. She didn't expect that he was harboring hidden feelings for her.
"Don't worry, I will support you and my brother. I will support your happiness. I won't do anything that would destroy the special bond you had with my brother. I will try to kill these feelings I had for you," he said.
She looked at him in confusion. "Why are you telling all this? How about Rebecca?" she asked.
"Rebecca is just a little sister to . We pretended to be engaged so that Cooper won't get jealous of ," he said.
Laura was astounded by his revelation. Now she realized why Graven is not romantic towards Rebecca. That's the reason why.
"Can you leave the room for a few minutes? I need to compose myself. I need to be alone for a while," she said.
"Okay, as you wish. I'll be back in half an hour. I hope by that ti, you are ready to go with to the cave," he said. He looked at her face for a few minutes getting drunk with her beauty. Then after getting his fill, he left the room and closed the door softly behind him.
When Graven was already out of the room, Laura's body crumbled into the bed. She buried her face in the pillow wanting to cry, wanting to scream in anger after learning the truth.
She groaned in frustration and gritted her teeth in anger.
But what can she do now? It belongs to the past already and no matter what she's going to do, she can't turn back ti and she can't erase what happened between her and Graven. The only thing she can do now is to put on a brave face every ti she sees him.
The situation between him and Graven will be awkward from now.
