"Motherfucker,"

Leo sneered, his crimson eyes locked on the charging Behemoth.

He summoned his voltsteel gloves, the knuckle weapons appearing in his hands.

He fastly equipped the glove and started channeling lightning mana into it.

[Skill activated: Mana Surge.]

[Skill activated: Precision Strike.]

The beast charges toward him, its enormous body trembling the earth with each step.

Leo didn’t move.

He charged at the creature to face it head-on, arcs of lightning following him in lines of energy.

The distance between them closed in seconds, the battle reaching its peak.

The Behemoth lowered its horn, and aid to pierce Leo. But Leo had already locked onto its weak point, a thin seam in its armored forehead, just above the eyes.

He raised his fist, the voltsteel glove blazing blue as mana pulsing through it like a thunderbolt.

The horn of the beast scraped Leo’s side, cutting through muscle.

However, Leo bellowed, his concentration intact as he punched his fist into the Behemoth’s face.

The impact was devastating—lightning erupted from the glove, striking deep into the weak spot.

A deafening BOOM! echoes through the forest, the shockwave shaked the ground as blue light burst through the seam in the creature’s armor.

The Behemoth’s skull shattered under the force. Its massive body faltered mid-charge, collapsing with an earth-shaking thud.

The forest was silent now.

From their hiding spots, the students staring in disbelief, unable to process what they’d just seen. Leo stood, his hand dripping blood from the hand, his breath heavy and ragged.

"No way..." Rowan muttered, his voice trembling as he stared at Leo. "He... he took it down with one strike."

"He’s... a monster," Kareth whispered, looking at the sight of two defeated A-ranked beasts.

Varkas swallowed hard.

Olyraa, her heart racing, stood up and rushed toward Leo, her concern overcoming her fear. "Senior! Are you okay?" she asked, her voice trembling.

The other students slowly followed, hesitantly closing in around him.

Leo looked at them, brushing sweat from his forehead. "Everybody okay?" he said firmly, though he was clearly tired out.

They nodded quickly, relief filling their faces. Olyraa cos closer, already beginning to channel her healing magic.

As a glow surrounded her hands, Leo shook his head slightly.Just make the bleeding stop. No need to heal completely," he said.

Olyraa nodded, her magic focused on sealing the wound on his side.

Then he looked upward, staring at the do above. "Try activating your ergency bracelets," he instructed, his tone sharp.

The students looked down at their wrists, fiddling with the chain-like devices. But no matter how hard they tried, the bracelets remained unresponsive. "It’s not working," Rowan muttered, frustration lacing his voice. "It’s just... useless now."

Leo sneered. "Figures. The damn thing’s blocking the signal," he muttered, irritation clear in his voice.

Olyraa finished healing his wound, her hands trembled slightly as the soft glow of her magic faded.

She stepped back, her eyes lingering on him with a mix of worry and admiration.

Varkas asked, his voice uncertain. "What is that do?"

Leo wiped the blood from his side. His tone was calm. "I don’t know," he admitted. "But I can tell you one thing—it’s the reason these monsters are here when they shouldn’t be."

Kareth muttered nervously, his voice barely audible. "What... what are we supposed to do now?"

Leo’s gaze turned to the group. "We survive," he said simply, the weight of the word sinking into them.

"First, we’ll head toward the edge of the do. If we’re lucky, we might find a clue about what’s going on. And it’ll be better if we can et up with other groups there."

The group nodded hesitantly, drawing closer together as Leo’s voice hardened. "Stay close to each other. No wandering off or you will end up dying brutally."

Elsewhere, in a dim cave hidden among the dense trees, Velmira knelt on the cold stone floor, her entire body trembling.

Her eyes filled with tears, her hands clasped tightly over her mouth to muffle the sob that was about to escape.

In front of her lay the remains of her senior’s body, ripped brutally in half.

Only the upper half remained, lifeless and bloodied. It’s like sothing forcefully tore her into two.

Her breath hitched as the faint sound of wings reached her ears. Her heart raced as she turned her head just enough to glance toward the entrance.

Several Shadowrend Harpies had landed, their twisted, bird-like forms moving slowly and deliberately, their razor-sharp talons scratching against the ground as they searching for the prey.

Velmira froze completely, she couldn’t move, couldn’t breathe, knowing that even the faintest sound would give her the sa fate as her senior in front of her.

Her lips trembled as she whispered a desperate plea. "Please... soone..."

At another part of the forest, Lucian’s blade clashed against the heavy axe of a Bonecrack Orc, sparks flying as steel t steel.

Around him were the bodies of fallen orcs on the ground.

His breath was shallow, his energy draining fast. He’d taken down most of the monsters himself, but they keep coming, like spawning from sowhere.

The orc roared, weapon swinging for Lucian once again. He dodged smoothly, years of training keeping him alive as he prepared for a counterstrike.

But then, he heard death scream. His head turned around, eyes wide as he saw one of his teammates in the hands of another orc. The boy struggled and scread, kicking uselessly at the monster’s massive hand.

"NO!" Lucian shouted, but it was too late. But it was too late. The orc grinned cruelly as it tightened its grip and ripped the boy’s head off with brutal ease.

Blood sprayed as the lifeless body crumpled to the ground.

Lucian froze, his hands trembling. His mind struggled to process the scene, the helplessness rooting him to the spot.

The towering orc behind him raised its axe high, ready to strike him down as Lucian remained trapped in the mont.

Outside the forest, near the do, far from the gathered people, Rin stood frozen in disbelief.

She stared at Erin, her breath catching as her pink eyes darted between her and the do. They were far enough from the others that no one could overhear their conversation.

"You... you want to enter the do?" Rin muttered, her voice trembling with shock and uncertainty.

Erin’s calm smile never wavered. Her violet eyes glead with quiet confidence as she tilted her head. "Yes, Senior Rin," she said softly, as though it were the most natural thing in the world.
