"Hey, what are you standing around for?! Hurry up!" Sona said impatiently.
"Y-Yes, right away!" I replied quickly.
Imdiately, I followed Sona down the winding corridors of the ancient library. The shelves of books seed endless, stretching high into the air, their dusty spines whispering secrets of forgotten tis. The air felt thick, like it carried the weight of centuries of knowledge—or perhaps it was just the oppressive atmosphere that seed to follow Sona everywhere she went.
As we walked, I couldn’t help but steal glances at her. Her long golden hair flowed behind her, the soft glow of her red eyes cutting through the brightness like twin suns. Despite her beauty, there was no denying the raw power she radiated—it was like standing next to a storm, one that could strike at any mont without warning.
...
...
About fifteen minutes later...
Finally, we arrived at a massive door that seed to pulse with an energy all its own. Sona stopped in front of it, her fingers brushing lightly against the surface, and the door creaked open, revealing what looked like a massive dining hall.
Holy shit! That scared ! I thought it was going to be a torture room or sothing... Phew! Thank God I’m finally eting a normal person for once. Jeez, John, that Beastmaster guy and those aliens gave nightmares. Ugh, just thinking about those psychos again makes sick.
Yeah, I know I shouldn’t stereotype all vampires to be bad, but man, I just can’t help it. I an, it’s John’s fault anyway—he traumatized so badly and ruined the vampire race’s reputation. Ah, now that I think about it... Fuck you, John!
In the middle of this vast, luxurious dining hall stood an enormous table piled high with food. The aroma wafted through the air, rich and tantalizing. I couldn’t tell exactly what kind of food it was, but it all looked incredibly high-quality, and most of it seed to be at. Hmm, am I dreaming? This feels too good to be true for so reason.
Anyway, the real question is—why is Sona giving all this high-end food? Is this her way of showing gratitude, or am I missing sothing?
"So, how do you like it? Is all this food satisfying enough for you?" Sona asked with a bright smile on her face.
Dammit! Just what the hell is this bitch plotting?! I refuse to believe soone could be this nice to , especially when I’m just a stranger to her. There has to be a reason behind all this, but I can’t seem to figure it out.
Welp, whatever, I’ll just go with the flow for now. I just hope Sona won’t turn out to be another John—especially not John 2.0, or another psycho who enjoys torturing others for fun.
I couldn’t help but drool, my mouth watering at the rich aroma that filled the air.
Ah, it slls so good! But despite how tempting it all looked, I knew I couldn’t let my guard down. Not knowing Sona’s true intentions was enough to make uneasy. I had to be careful and stay alert.
"Yeah, I believe this is more than enough to satisfy !" I said, trying to sound genuine while keeping my caution in check. "Thank you very much for all of this! It really ans a lot!"
Yeah, right, considering how weak I am compared to her, it’s not like I could do anything to go against her anyway. Haha. You know what? Fuck it, let’s just eat!
However, just as I was drooling and rushing toward the food, Sona grabbed a handful of my hair, pulling back aggressively. "Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop right there! Who the hell said you could eat yet?! Don’t even think about touching it until I say so, you understand?!" Her tone was sharp, and I froze, a little caught off guard by how intense she was.
"Y-Yes, I understand!" I replied politely and respectfully, trying to keep my composure despite the growing unease in my chest. She didn’t seem to loosen her grip, and her gaze was as sharp as ever, scanning with an intensity that felt like it could pierce right through .
Sona’s red eyes narrowed further, her lips curling into a small, dangerous smile. "Good. You’re learning. But before you eat, you need to understand sothing first." She released my hair, but only to step around , her steps light but purposeful. "This food is indeed for you, mortal. But as you know, nothing in this world is free, so you’re gonna have to pay for it if you want to eat."
"P-Pay for it? What do you an?" I asked, my voice shaky with confusion.
"Shut the hell up! I’m not done talking yet! Also, from now on, I’m your master! In other words, your master eats first, only then you can eat after, got it?!" she said in a commanding voice that reeked of authority. "And so how do you pay for it? Well, it’s very simple, you simply pay with your blood and that’s it! Hahaha! Very easy, right?!"
Noooooooooooooo!!! I scread inwardly.
This can’t be real! Agh, I can’t believe I’m eting another psycho! Ugh, this bitch is basically John 2.0! Aaaaaaaaghhhhh! Noooooooo! I can’t accept this! Fuck! I’m not willing to go through this shit again! Never!
Goddammit! I knew it! I fucking knew it! I should’ve known that all vampires are evil, selfish creatures who only care about their own gains and nothing else! It’s the sa damn pattern every ti!
I know I shouldn’t stereotype vampires like that, but what Sona is doing right now confirms everything I’ve been thinking. This isn’t just a one-ti thing—this is who they are, all of them!
Yeah, I’m outta here! Fear hit like a ton of bricks, and without thinking, I spun around and tried to make a run for it. Fuck this shit! Fuck this Hidden Quest! I don’t care anymore! Just get out! Get away from this crazy fucking vampire bitch!
SPRINT!
WHOOSH!
