So this crazy bastard is like John, huh...? The kind of person who actually takes pleasure in watching others suffer. It’s like a twisted ga for him, getting so sick satisfaction out of the pain of others. I thought John was the only one like that, but I guess there are more people out there like him than I realized.

As we watched other superhumans falling off from the other floating islands, I started thinking about how I could get out of this ss. Should I just jump off this island now and end it all? I had no clue what this Beastmaster guy was really planning. He said he was going to kill , but who knew if that ant a quick death or sothing worse? I really hoped he wasn’t planning to torture first before finishing off. That’d be a whole new level of ssed up.

If he really plans to give a quick death, I wouldn’t mind so much. It’d be over fast, no ss, no suffering. But if he plans to drag it out and torture first, that’s a whole different story. I’d rather just jump off this island now and take my chances with whatever cos next. I an, at least down there, it’d be over quickly. Dying without pain, no long drawn-out suffering, is still a lot better than facing whatever kind of tornt he might have in mind before ending my life.

It was at this mont that I turned around and, with all the strength I could muster, I sprinted toward the edge of the island. I was set on jumping off now, no hesitation. Whether this bastard planned to torture first and then kill after didn’t matter anymore. I just wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible by jumping off.

LEAP!

"Hahaha! See you later, you fucking bitch!" I shouted, leaping off the edge of this island. The wind roared in my ears, the world spinning as I descended. For a brief mont, I felt free—untouchable.

But that feeling didn’t last long.

Suddenly, sothing massive snatched midair, huge claws gripping like a vice. My montum halted so abruptly that it knocked the breath out of . I twisted, straining to see what had grabbed , and my heart sank. It was none other than the goddamn Sky Dragon boss!

In the blink of an eye, the Sky Dragon snatched up and flew straight back to the Beastmaster guy. It was at this mont that I knew, I fucked up!

Ah, fuck! I think I just made the situation even worse than before! Goddammit! I could already tell that this Beastmaster guy wasn’t happy with what I’d done. The look on his face made it clear—he was definitely pissed!

The Sky Dragon dropped to the ground, and in an instant, the Beastmaster guy grabbed by the neck, lifting up in the air and choking tightly. "Fucking bastard! How dare you try to run from ?! You’re nothing but an ant, so you don’t get to choose when you die! I decide, understand?!" he snapped, clearly furious.

"Y-Yes, sir!!!" I replied, the words coming out faster than I wanted. What other choice did I have? Pissing him off further would only make my situation even worse, and I wasn’t about to make things harder on myself. For now, the best I could do was comply, hoping that it might calm him down—at least that way he would go slightly easy on .

"Good! I like your response!" he said as he loosened his grip and released . "Now, let’s watch the other superhumans fall for a little longer before I kill you."

"Yes, sir!" I replied, keeping my tone respectful, though my mind raced with the fear of what was coming next.

With that, I stood beside him and the damn Sky Dragon, a mix of disbelief and resignation flooding over . Together, we watched as the other superhumans plumted from the other nearby floating islands, their desperate cries barely reaching our ears. It might seem childish to watch other people falling, but it is what it is. It’s not like I had a choice anyway, since this Beastmaster guy was a goddamn freak.

Ugh, I just want to die already and get this over with!

...

...

After a while, we stopped watching the other superhumans fall.

Soon after, the Beastmaster guy stretched leisurely, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Well, I’m satisfied now. Shall we end this?" His sinister grin hinted at sothing far darker. "So, how would you like to die?"

I froze, my mind racing for an answer that would lead to the quickest death possible. No pain, no suffering—just a fast death, so that I could get this over with quickly.

At this mont, every instinct scread at to choose my words carefully. This guy wasn’t just so overpowered psychopath—he might be the type of person who would twist any response into an excuse to make things worse. Either way, I’d have to be careful not to provoke his bad side.

"Uh... quick and painless?" I stamred, forcing a nervous grin. "But if you prefer, torture works too. It’s up to you—whatever makes you happy." I did my best to sound as polite as possible.

The Beastmaster tilted his head, considering my request for a mont. Then he threw back his head and laughed—a deep, echoing laugh that sent shivers down my spine. "Hahahahahaha!!!"

After a short while, as his laughter died down, the Sky Dragon shifted behind , letting out a low growl. It was a reminder that running away or escaping wasn’t an option.

"Quick and painless?!" he repeated, his voice dripping with mockery. "Where’s the fun in that?! You clearly don’t understand how this works, little ant. The whole point is to enjoy the process slowly! And that’s what you call having fun!"

You’ve got to be kidding ! Not this shit again! First, it was that vampire freak, John, and now this guy too! Ah, why! Just why do I have to keep eting these types of people?! Aaaghhh!! I can’t stand this anymore! Fuck it, you know what?! If I’m going to die anyway, then I’m just going to fight till the end!

Facing the Beastmaster guy, I lifted both my arms and showed him both of my middle fingers. "Fuck you!!! Do you understand?!! I’ll say it again, fuck you!!! That’s my answer, you piece of shit!!!"
