Breathing heavily, I wiped the blood off my face and stretched my arms. Damn, that fight took longer than expected, but whatever—at least Ragnar was finally dead. And now, it was ti for the real challenge.
Cooking him.
Without wasting a second, I stepped forward and blasted the massive heavy iron throne door open with a single strike, the tal groaning under the force as it flew back. I didn’t pause for a mont, imdiately leaving the grand throne room, my steps echoing through the vast hallway as I moved on.
Initially, I had planned to eat him, but the thought of cannibalism made feel sick—it wasn’t sothing I was fond of. So, for now, I would try cooking him and see if that worked. I an, he was already dead anyway, so it wasn’t like he would feel any pain or suffering when I cooked him later.
Welp, anyway, now that I had left the grand throne room behind, I turned my attention to the next task—finding the grand kitchen. This royal castle was massive, its luxurious stone corridors winding through endless chambers and halls, and it wasn’t going to be an easy search. Still, I had to be quick before Ragnar recovered. I had to cook him as quickly as possible to delay his regenerating process.
WHOOSH! SPRINT!
I picked up the pace of my search, feeling the minutes slip by, and after what felt like an eternity, I finally found the grand kitchen. To my surprise, the vast castle was eerily quiet, almost deserted, with no one around except for and Ragnar’s body.
Holy shit! If there was one word that could describe the sheer scale of this kitchen, it would be massive. It wasn’t just big—it was overwhelming, stretching out in every direction, almost as if it could feed an army.
It seed like everything in this castle was on an entirely different scale. Even when I was running at full speed just now, it still took a while to find this kitchen. Honestly, I’ve never been in a place this massive before. Every hallway, every room—it felt like it stretched on forever, and the sheer size of it all was starting to get to . This place wasn’t just an ordinary castle; it was like a small city, stretching out in every direction.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized this damn castle was probably built for giants, not for a small human being like .
Even the ceiling here was ridiculously high, it felt like I was walking through an entirely different world. Every room seed to tower over , making feel like a tiny ant in comparison. It was overwhelming, like everything in here was designed to dwarf anything smaller than a giant or titan.
Furthermore, the throne room where I fought Ragnar earlier wasn’t the only throne room in this place. In fact, when I was running around earlier, I found a few more massive throne rooms—each one even bigger than the one I was in with Ragnar.
It seed Ragnar’s throne room was probably the only normal one. Don’t get wrong, it was still enormous, but definitely not as big as the others. It was also more suitable for a human size, like . anwhile, the other throne rooms I briefly spotted earlier looked like they were clearly made for giants or titans. They were at least five to ten tis larger than Ragnar’s throne room—there was no comparison at all.
Oh, crap! I got so srized by the sheer size of this castle that I completely forgot about cooking for Ragnar. Without wasting any more ti, I got to work. And you know what’s surprising? This damn kitchen had everything I needed. The tools, the pots—everything was here. Seriously, what the hell is up with this coincidence?
However, there was one problem: everything in this kitchen was way too big for to use. Even the cooking pots were massive—at least 10 feet tall and just as wide. They looked more like cauldrons fit for giants than anything I could actually cook with. As for starting the fire, I could just use firewood, and luckily, the kitchen storage room nearby had plenty of it to get it going.
Dammit, I don’t know why, but I had a bad feeling about this. It felt like the giants might actually be living here, and who knows—I might be using their kitchen without permission. The reason I suspected that was because I found at and vegetables stored in the kitchen storage room.
This storage room was cold, almost as if soone was using ice magic to keep it cool. Heck, maybe I was wrong all along, and this wasn’t just a storage room—it might actually be a refrigerator room. Who knows? Welp, anyway...
...
...
A few minutes later...
By now, I had everything prepared and had already started cooking Ragnar in the giant pot. Although the tools and equipnt here were massive, it didn’t bother much. With my current strength, lifting over 1000 kg was no challenge at all—those weights weren’t even close to being an issue.
I could see the hot steam coming out of the giant pot. Right now, I’m boiling Ragnar and looking at it. Yeah, I don’t think this would work. Although it would at least delay Ragnar from coming back to life though, so I guess that would spare so ti to think about what to do next.
Ugh, I feel like vomiting... I can’t believe I’m actually cooking soone who looks like . At this point, it really does feel like I’m literally cooking myself in a third person point of view.
After a short while, I realized boiling wasn’t going to cut it. Hmm, I started thinking—should I try burning it? Or maybe dissolve it in so powerful acid? Nevermind. If I were to use my common sense, I doubted any of those thods would be strong enough to kill soone like Ragnar anyway.
Ah, fuck it! I couldn’t help but feel frustrated.
Seriously, is there really no way to kill Ragnar? Wait, what if I ate him... would that even work? Is my stomach acid even strong enough to digest him? I couldn’t help but sigh deeply. The more I thought about it, the more I realized this was far more complicated than I had imagined.
I couldn’t help but sigh again. No matter how much I considered it, I just couldn’t seem to co up with an efficient way to get rid of Ragnar completely. I an, even I managed to survive the sea monsters’ stomach acid and ca out stronger.
Out of nowhere:
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
I heard the heavy thud of footsteps approaching, each one vibrating the ground beneath .
