An intense, pure black radiance inexplicably appeared upon the blood-red gleam of the axe blade.
The two streams of light rged, instantly pierced through intervening space, and with a SWISH, streaked across the body of the Emissary of the Ten Thousand Gods, who was loudly chanting and forming arcane seals.
"Ugh..."
In an instant, the Emissary of the Ten Thousand Gods’ chanting ceased abruptly, and the movents of his hands froze.
He raised his head, staring fixedly at Lu Yuan. His strange, contorted face seed etched with utter shock and disbelief.

He looked up at the sound and saw a faint white light in his field of vision, heading his way. It was the Fly Shuttle arriving to retrieve him.
Seeing the silhouette of the Fly Shuttle, the Eleventh Throne’s gaze relaxed slightly.

"BOOM!"
A deafening roar erupted from beneath him. A terrifying aura, like a volcanic eruption, surged skyward. A vast shadow rapidly ascended, blotting out the daylight and instantly engulfing the Eleventh Throne’s figure...

The face beneath the Eleventh Throne’s platinum mask contorted.

The instant the shadow rose, an axe-light descended from above. Like a hot knife through butter, it effortlessly sliced through the layers of platinum light protecting the Eleventh Throne, then struck down...

The Eleventh Throne felt as if struck by lightning. His platinum mask clattered to the ground, and he coughed up a mouthful of blood.
Horrified, he tried to use the impact’s montum to flee, but several enormous palms were already closing in like dark clouds.
"CRACK! CRACK! CRACK—"
The massive hands shattered the Eleventh Throne’s final, thin layer of protective energy. The terrifying power imbued in them made his bones creak and groan under the crushing grip.
He felt like a balloon about to be burst. An irresistible, imnse force squeezed his chest, causing the turbid blood within to surge upwards, and he nearly fainted.
Soon, he felt an icy gaze upon his face.
Struggling to open his eyes, he t a pair of chilling orbs—blood-red pupils that spun like flowers.
The owner of those eyes stood with his back to the sun, looking down imperiously at the Eleventh Throne.
"I have long admired the Mosa Religion and am just looking for an introduction...
Why are you in such a hurry to leave?
Could it be..."
The man’s voice paused. He then grinned, revealing a row of perfectly white, sharp teeth, and said softly, "Are you afraid I might actually eat you?"
The Eleventh Throne was completely immobilized. The oppressive weight of that savage, domineering, and terrifying aura—like a tsunami crashing down from close range—suffocated him. His body tensed instantly, eyes wide, and when he tried to speak, only choked sounds, "Ugh... ugh... ugh..." escaped his lips.

The heavy chanical doors slowly parted.
Behind the doors stood three figures.
The foremost individual wore a military uniform; his temples were lightly streaked with grey. He exuded a natural authority, the very air of a high-ranking commander.
The other two, likely his personal bodyguards, followed closely behind him, their faces impassive.
As the man in the military uniform and his entourage walked in, soone imdiately hurried forward, bowing respectfully and murmuring, "General."
