Song Yue no longer pressed aggressively, "Perhaps, what would you like to drink? I’ll get it for you."
"No need." Fan Rou tily handed Ye Ranran a drink, "Your favorite pear juice."
Ye Ranran looked at Fan Rou appreciatively; the role of a good friend shines at this mont.
"So it’s the third young miss, I would have thought you were a waitress," Song Yue shook the juice in her glass.
A beauty indeed, every move she makes is graceful and pleasing to the eyes.
Yet, that remark was really unpleasant.
"Miss Song makes it sound funny. If getting a cup of juice makes one a waitress, then wouldn’t Miss Song be one too? Oh, and quite eagerly promoting it to as well."
Her slow and prolonged tone, like the gentle rain in March, silent and soft, yet carries the lingering chill of winter days.
"Look at what you’re saying. I just saw you sitting here alone and bored, and rembering that you liked this drink, I specially got it for you. Is that my fault now?" Song Yue skillfully deflected the sharp edge from Ye Ranran’s words.
"Does Miss Song have poor vision? Rourou has been by my side all along, she just went to get a drink just now, and I’m alone? Are the people beside not considered human?" Ye Ranran drew hate towards Song Yue.
Indeed, everyone looked at her with dissatisfaction; though she is Miss Song of the Song Family, she shouldn’t be so dismissive of others.
If everyone were to unite, Song Yue’s end would indeed be miserable.
"It was just a joke," Song Yue forced a smile, "How co Ranran is so thin? What have you been eating?"
Fan Rou was about to say sothing but was stopped by a glance from Ye Ranran, "I’ve been quite busy recently, taking care of the children has been tiring, so I’ve lost so weight. Miss Song seems quite concerned about ."
"Of course, you’re too thin, abnormally so. I’m worried soone might think the wrong thing, that you’ve touched sothing you shouldn’t have," Song Yue hinted deliberately.
Ye Ranran understood then; Song Yue was subtly setting a trap for her. Well, it was typical of her to set traps.
"Touched sothing I shouldn’t have? I don’t quite understand this statent, Miss Song, could you please explain it to ?"
Throughout, Ye Ranran addressed Song Yue as Miss Song to indicate their lack of closeness; everyone present, being astute, could also hear the sarcasm in her words.
The looks towards Song Yue beca rather enigmatic.
Though everyone masked their gaze well, it still made Song Yue extrely uncomfortable, like needles pricking her, making her entire body uneasy.
Her hatred towards Ye Ranran deepened; indeed, her presence alone spoiled her mood.
"Ranran is a sensible person; you should naturally understand what I an," Song Yue evaded.
She and her weren’t that close, so could she please not address so intimately? Ye Ranran almost couldn’t help but roll her eyes, "I really don’t understand, hence I’m specifically asking Miss Song for clarification."
Ye Ranran asked very seriously, her tone genuinely sincere.
Now Song Yue knew the aning of shooting herself in the foot. After so ti apart, Ye Ranran had beco even sharper.
Song Yue disliked her even more now; at this mont, she wished she could strangle Ye Ranran’s slender neck.
"The crowd watched with great interest, even hoping the verbal exchange would escalate further.
