Chapter 134: Ch 134: To Hell’s Fire- Part 2

"Do you have anything to say to , Rhiner?"

I asked, and the alpha looked taken aback by my sudden question. He blinked before he shook his head.

"Ah, no... I just... you speak too firmly. I think that oga got a little startled by your words."

Rhiner told

as he looked at the crestfallen oga who went back to his seat after hearing what I had to say.

"Are you the type of alpha who sympathizes with ogas a lot? You should do it in moderation, or you would be taken advantage of by others."

I told Rhiner, and he stiffened. He had a harsh face but was actually a soft person on the inside. Not that he agreed.

"I don’t... particularly think of myself as compassionate. In fact, I often scare people away, and they get startled when they see my face. That is also the reason I was assigned to look after Kesha. She is sowhat afraid of

and my face as well."

Rhiner told , but to , he did not look that terrifying.

Maybe it was the fact that I had already seen a lot more than I expected in the human world, but Rhiner no longer scared

as he used to.

Not only that, but he also did not seem like soone who would harm others. He was as normal as a human being could be.

"You should not worry about it that much. You are not a bad person, and you just need to continue like that to be just fine."

I told Rhiner, and he chuckled.

"Ace, you are a good person. Personally, I think I deserve all the hate that I get, but I am thankful that you seem to think otherwise."

Rhiner told , and I felt like there was a story there that begged

to uncover it.

I ignored that feeling and decided that there was no point in asking Rhiner about this. If he wanted to tell , he would bring up that topic himself.

And if not, then I did not want to cause him unnecessary trouble by asking about it.

The jet finally took off, and I looked outside the window. We were not nearly as high of an altitude as I was expecting us to be.

Soon, the first pair stood up on the jet and wore a bag before they jumped out.

"Looks like it has started. People skydive out of here with a parachute to get to their destination. Don’t worry, it is completely safe and tested by experts before allowing hunters to get here."

Rhiner assured , taking my look for one of worry. But in reality, I was not really worried.

From what I could see, we were about the right height for

to jump out of the jet without anything and just get away with a few broken bones from the impact... not that I was going to try and do that.

But the main thing was, I was not going to die even if things went south here.

"Alright, I understand. Please inform

when we need to dive."

I told Rhiner before my attention went back outside. The world out there was beautiful, but not much could be seen from the height we were on at the mont.

I closed my eyes, and before I knew it, I had dozed off. I only ca around when Rhiner shook my shoulder, but he seed to be careful with .

"Excuse , but we are about to reach our spot. We should get ready to dive down."

He told , and I nodded before I quickly grabbed my own bag and was ready to jump down.

"Here, you can grab my hand since it is your first ti doing sothing like this. I am sure it will help you feel less nervous."

The alpha told

as he extended his hand toward . He looked a little shaken, but his eyes hardened as he thought of sothing.

I had no idea what Rhiner was going through, but I had a feeling he was not stable at the mont.

So I decided to extend my hand toward him and grab his hand.

"Just this one ti. I will hold your hand just this one ti, so stop looking so scared and intimidated by ."

I told the alpha, and he chuckled, realizing that he had been caught by . He just sighed to get his thoughts under control before his eyes hardened.

"You are right. I need to get myself under control. Now, let’s go."

I was ready to jump down, but Rhiner’s sudden tug still took

by surprise, and before I knew it, both Rhiner and I were free-falling.

My body turned around in the air, and I saw the sky getting further and further away from .

Rhiner, on the other hand, was facing the ground, and he gave

a startled look as he saw

turned around.

"P-Parachute... get ready... turn around."

He told , and I flipped myself so as not to worry him.

"Open it... now."

The alpha told , and I pulled the cord. Rhiner pulled his own at the sa ti, and the force tugged us back as our descent slowed down.

No accident had taken place this ti either, and our feet slowly touched the ground near where we needed to land.

Since the area was near an inactive volcano, it was barren of most soil, and that allowed us to have a clear landing.

"We are here. This is the place where the dungeon is. There is a barrier around here that stops local people from being able to enter this place."

Rhiner told

as I could feel the presence of the barrier all around us. It was not a strong barrier, but it was enough to keep the normal people out of here.

The dungeon was being managed well, so I doubted that the association was the one managing it.

Rhiner must have sohow known what I was thinking because he coughed in his hand before he gave

an answer.

"The one who is looking after this dungeon is our guild, so you don’t have to worry about it."
