"Hmm, and what about the bait for the hook, what’s best to use?"
Lin Yang casually pointed to the selected black, large dicinal-looking sturgeon pellets: "Use these. Later, I’ll modify them with red worms, I’ll handle it."
Xia Xiaoxue had been fishing for almost a year now, and she had t quite a few fishing masters, but it was her first ti seeing soone prepare bait and groundbait like this.
She instinctively remained skeptical, but the skills Lin Yang displayed during his fishing live streams forced her to believe.
In Lin Yang’s hands, two large bags of Tongwei Pellets were enhanced with so ’little dicine,’ then put into a large plastic bag to stew, and set aside.
Then he found another two-pound bag of sturgeon pellets.
"Master Lin, what did you add to those red ’little dicines’ earlier? Why do they sll so good?" Xia Xiaoxue asked in a roundabout way.
Lin Yang shook his head: "I can’t be certain about the specific components, it’s a kind of core attractant substance added into the ’little dicine.’ It wasn’t easy for to develop, and don’t worry, these dicated pellets are definitely more effective than those comrcial ones."
"Oh, so that ans the rice wine sold in your live-stream is also mixed with it, huh?"
"Right, where is the red worm clip? I’m going to improve a bit and make an enhanced version of the rubber pellet."
Soon, Xia Xiaoxue brought the red worm clip, and the two of them clumsily made so rubber pellets with the sturgeon pellets as a base.
"We’ll use this for the hook tomorrow?" Xia Xiaoxue continued to ask.
"One hook with this, and the other with the comrcial bait. I’ll prepare it when the ti cos, rest assured," he assured her.
"Alright, I’ll listen to you." Xia Xiaoxue naturally accepted Lin Yang’s arrangent.
As they prepared all the bait, groundbait, and material for tomorrow’s competition, the sky gradually darkened.
A while later, Xia Xiaoxue’s best friend also returned. She was about the sa age as Xia Xiaoxue, wearing glasses, and looked like a relatively quiet girl.
After being introduced by Xia Xiaoxue, her best friend’s na was revealed to be Li Kangshu, working at an administrative unit in the city area.
Once Lin Yang’s visit was explained, her friend didn’t seem to mind, since the apartnt was initially rented by Xia Xiaoxue alone, who only found it boring living by herself, thus she invited a friend to live for free.
By around six in the evening, the take-out dinner Xia Xiaoxue ordered arrived.
She had originally wanted to invite Lin Yang out for dinner, but he declined. There was a fishing competition to wake up early for the following day, so he wanted to rest early tonight and have a simple al.
...
The next morning at half-past five, Lin Yang was woken up by the alarm clock.
He had slept very well the previous night and felt completely refreshed upon opening his eyes.
Having brought his toiletries with him this trip, he quickly freshened up. By the ti he finished, it was already five o’clock in the morning, and Xia Xiaoxue was also up.
True to the nature of a fisher, even a girl could wake up this early.
Once everything was packed and they took their fishing gear, they left the house around six o’clock.
With two people, one car, the trunk, and a back seat loaded with fishing equipnt, they headed straight for Dragon Ascension Big Fish Pond.
Half an hour later, they arrived at the fishing site. By now, it was slightly bright outside, and the outside of the venue was already filled with dense crowds and packed vehicles.
The schedule for today’s BMW Grand Prix had it starting at eight in the morning and lasting until two in the afternoon, making it a six-hour event.
With over an hour to go before the start of the competition, they had plentiful ti to prepare.
Xia Xiaoxue found a spot to park the car, then she and Lin Yang unloaded their extensive fishing equipnt and headed to the waiting area.
As this fishing grand prix in Suzhou was rather influential, quite a few fishing masters and live-strears had arrived, with many holding up phones and broadcasting live, making the scene noisy.
Even though Lin Yang was sowhat famous in Jiangdong City, in Suzhou, besides Xia Xiaoxue, hardly anyone recognized him.
The two of them made their way through the crowd until they found a relatively quiet place.
After setting down their things, Lin Yang got busy with the groundbait preparation work for before the competition, while Xia Xiaoxue went to buy so breakfast since they hadn’t eaten since getting up.
Since they had pre-stewed a pack of pellets each yesterday, Lin Yang now had to prepare hand-throwing groundbait and kneading bait to eat.
The hand-throwing groundbait remained primarily Tongwei Pellets, water-soaked, then sprinkled with so dry, strongly scented pellets, adding about 10 milliliters of the little dicine Lin Yang had exchanged from the compendium, and stirred evenly to absorb the water thoroughly.
As for the hand food, it was quite simple; he opened a pack of Champion Carp Cannon, added so corn adhesive powder to increase adhesion and reduce atomization, again with 10 milliliters of little dicine, allowing it to absorb the water and then kneading it slightly to make it ready for use.
After the kneaded bait and groundbait were prepared, Xia Xiaoxue ca back with breakfast.
The two ate breakfast quickly and then Lin Yang divided the freshly prepared groundbait and hand food between them.
"Use the hand food for the hook; these are for throwing by hand at the start," Lin Yang instructed.
"Is this good to use?"
Xia Xiaoxue glanced at the hand food which seed fine. At least the materials used looked very good, and she could faintly see specks from the Marukyu Kiyoshi in the mix.
However, the groundbait seed much less impressive. Although it included the red ’little dicine,’ it looked rely like soaked Tongwei Pellets, finally sprinkled with so sturgeon pellets, very simple indeed.
"It’s enough, rember, one hook with kneaded bait and one with the rubber pellets. I’ve already added stuff to the pellets, use them with confidence," he assured her.
