"Prove what you said. I also heard from Katherine that you are an amazing cook, so this is the perfect ti for to check." She said, putting him up to the challenge.

Amon stopped in his tracks, looking back at the stall and then at Alia.

He put on a thoughtful expression.

'Hmm..' After just a mont, he nodded with a smirk.

Since it was a challenge from the lady, it would be rude not to accept.

And he had nothing to do for now so why not?

He moved his eyes to the stall owner, who was still looking at the duo.

The owner looked at Amon as well, their gazes matching.

It was clear that Amon was asking for permission and…

Being a fan and wanting to see how Amon could make it better after giving it a low rating, the owner nodded happily.

"For sure sir! Of course." The owner smiled.

Amon nodded, his eyes turning back to Alia.

"Sure. Bet I can make that rating go up to a 10." He adjusted his clothes and rolled up his sleeves.

Alia returned his smile.

"If I don't, then you will do whatever I say for once."

Amon shrugged.

"Sure, but judge honestly."

"Of course."

Heading into the stall, Amon was given a small station at the side by the owner.

They couldn't provide him the main one as they still had custors to feed but it was enough for Amon.

It had everything he required anyways.

After being provided the at, the salt, and everything, Amon quickly got to work.

He cranked up the grill to max, turning it to hot as quickly as possible while replacing the new coals with slightly used ones.

Alia stood in front of him, watching him with the curiosity of a child.

Her amber eyes followed his every movent and technique with intrigue.

Amon didn't feel pressured by the gaze in any way, he was used to his sister watching him the sa way in his previous life.

It brought back so mories again for him, however, unlike the first ti in this world, he was able to control it pretty well.

Grilling the at perfectly, Amon chopped up several other ingredients such as veggies as well.

"You know that including other things would be cheating right?" Alia asked from the front.

Amon turned to her, cockily smiling.

"Nah, the base one will already be better than the previous one. I'm just doing this as an addition."

Alia raised her brows.

"You sound cocky."

Amon shrugged, flipping the at.

"It's gonna be all cockiness until you eat it."

After doing everything, Amon quickly put them all up into a stick and handed them over fresh and hot.

(Don't worry, I skipped the cooking process for yall this ti.)

As Alia took it from his hand, she observed it from every side.

Amon almost resisted a laugh at her expression. She looked like a food critic.

"The grill marks look better than the previous one but we'll only know when we eat it." She mumbled.

"Well..eat it." Amon eats one piece from his stick to start.

Imdiately, his eyes widened a little.

"Yeah, this is definitely much better."

He turned to the owner-chef, who was focused on the custors.

"Hey, pops." He called him out before quickly handing him one as well.

The chef looked at the product with intrigue as well, wondering how better it could be from his own.

But without wasting any second, he took one into his mouth.

And imdiately, his eyes widened from appreciation.

"This is so good!" He squealed like a child, eating another one.

Amon laughed seeing him.

While it was true that his experience was nowhere close to master chefs like this owner in front of him…

The problem with this world was that there was no creativity in the food or cooking process.

It was as if the author had never put that much common sense into mixing so things into their brain though Amon considered it to be a case of low depth during writing about such topics.

"Can you please share us the thod of how you cooked this?" The cook asked in excitent.

But it was only after a mont that he realized that it was basically stealing Amon's new idea.

And for that, he would require to give so money.

So he quickly changed his words a little.

"Or would you like to pick up our stall as an activity in this festival?" He smiled.

Amon raised his hand to indicate that it was fine.

"I'm already cooking sowhere later though I don't know which stall I was assigned to but no worries, I can give you the recipe."

It was pretty simple and he had no objections to it.

The cook's eyes widened.

"For free?"

Amon nodded.

"Sure."

The cook's eyes widened as if he had just struck upon a gold mine.

"Thank you so much!" He bowed.

Amon laughed, his eyes moving back to Alia.

He heard the cook say sothing about allowing them to eat for free here during the whole festival but he was too focused on her now.

She was also surprised to see the cook's reaction.

Because of that, she wasted no ti digging into her share as well.

Amon raised his brows in surprise.

"You want to cook for you?" He asked, his emotions evident.

Alia nodded with a confident smile on her face.

"Prove what you said. I also heard from Katherine that you are an amazing cook, so this is the perfect ti for to check." She said, putting him up to the challenge.

Amon stopped in his tracks, looking back at the stall and then at Alia. back you and

He put on a thoughtful expression.

'Hmm..' She wanna get my cook.
