260 Her Loss [3]

****

Amon exited out of his classroom with a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, everything went well.

He had been able to gain his classmate's trust.

The only thing left for him now was to solidify it for the future as well by pulling it off in the best way possible.

Just like what everyone thought, Amon knew that Circus was a risky but a unique move.

It could only be held once throughout the entire festival.

This, though made it very unique and a one-ti event that would prompt everyone to not miss it, would also be a go big or go ho move.

If he couldn't make it known well enough or promote it well enough to rake in the sales that night…

Then it would all be for nothing.

Fortunately, Amon had planned everything before going ahead with this.

A smile appeared on his face.

He wasn't the only one in this large project after all.

Amon gazed at the ti.

It was going to be close to 11 soon.

Since it was the first day, the startup of the stalls would take quite a while so Amon was free to go wherever he wanted early today.

Afterwards, when he was done with Alia, he needed to take part in the activities that he had chosen.

Which were basically…

Indoor Activities.

And at last…

Music.

These were the three activities that he had participated in.

Coming back to the present situation, Amon headed outside his classroom corridor.

After everyone had left, he had purposefully chosen to stop the people that he had handpicked for the important positions in the circus.

People like the Ringmaster, Familiar Trainers and others.

Of course, nobody in them had experience in it but…

That was what Amon was here for.

The Circus Venue that he had contracted along with Alia already had all those perforrs, artists and those positions.

And that was why Amon intended to train his class to learn from them first before the event.

This was also why he had scheduled the event to the very last day, taking an even bigger risk.

Nevertheless, he was quite confident that the people he had chosen for those positions could pull it off.

Pushing those thoughts into the back of his mind, Amon focused his attention on Alia's office first.

It took him no ti to arrive there as he knocked on the door.

"There's no need to knock like I always say, just co in." He heard Alia from inside.

This was sothing that quite often surprised him.

How could she even know that it was him always?

Did she know his knocking pattern or sothing?

Regardless, he quickly opened the door and went inside in order to not keep Alia waiting.

Opening the door, he saw Alia right in front of him, sitting on a plush luxurious chair behind a large table.

Her golden amber eyes were currently focused on the papers sprawled on the surface of the desk, the black glasses on them giving her a formal look.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Amon said, also signaling that he was inside now.

"Why are you saying sorry when you are 30 minutes early?" Alia asked, her expression forming into a smile as she gazed up from the papers.

Amon gave her a shrug.

"I was trying to co here early before you."

Alia let out a small chuckle.

"It's nothing. I have been here since the morning so you don't have to worry about it."

Amon raised his brows at 'since the morning'.

"Since the morning?"

Alia nodded.

"Yeah, like from 8AM I guess. Too many stall reports and requests coming in that I have to manage." She said, adjusting her glasses slightly.

"This week is going to be a hectic one."

Amon remained silent for a mont before nodding.

"I see."

He then focused his gaze on her black glasses.

They were the more formal office-like glasses rather than the one she usually wore for her dresses and fashion.

"Hehe." Alia bobbed them up and down, showing them to Amon like a happy child.

With a curious gaze, Amon walked closer to the table, reaching its edge on the other side.

But that didn't stop him as he leaned closer to touch her glasses, grabbing its fra with two fingers.

Alia's eyes widened slightly at the sudden move but she made no attempt to lean back in her chair.

Amon inspected them for a mont, his fingers running through the fra of those glasses as he leaned even closer.

"Hmmm." His fingers montarily brushed against Alia's hair and skin, making her feel warm.

It reddened her cheeks.

"Good. They look perfect on you." Amon said, completely oblivious of Alia in front of him.

"T-too.." Alia said.

"Hmm?" Amon turned his gaze to her eyes now, realizing now how red she was.

"Too close." Alia finally said.

At the sa ti, Amon finally saw that he was basically half on the table now, his face inches apart from Alia.

He had suddenly gotten too curious.

So of the papers had even fallen down from his intrusion on the table space.

Moving his eyes to Alia though, Amon saw that despite her words, she was still seated straight, not leaning back in her chair to make so difference between them.

And this made a smirk appear on his face.

Rather than backing off at her words, Amon chose to inch even closer, his lips coming near to her ears.

"But you make no attempt to back off or resist though."

In tandem, he lowered his fingers down from her glasses to her cheek, tracing his fingertips over the right one.

Imdiately, Alia's face turned to a shade brighter than her hair color.

She quickly pushed her hands on his chest, pushing him away.

"Noooo. Stoppp." She said, her voice weak as she lightly pushed him away.

Amon let out a laugh as he got off the table, straightening his clothes.

The annoyed pout on Alia's face made it all worth it.

She flicked her face to the side in an angry fashion, making Amon laugh even more.

"Anyways, let's just get this work done quickly so we can go then." He extended his hand.

Alia was suddenly surprised, her eyes moving to Amon.

"Huh?"

"The papers milady. Hand them over so I can quickly help you then we can leave for the stalls."

"Oh." She understood finally what he ant.

Amon smirked at her response.

"I know you want to check them out as well. It's your favorite work to do after all so let's just finish that work quickly."

Alia was surprised slightly by his spot-on deducent.

But then, a smile appeared on her face as she gave him an appreciating nod.

She handed him a stash of papers before explaining what to do.

And together, the two spent 30 minutes in the office, arranging and signing those papers as they talked to each other occasionally.

At the sa ti, Amon also told Alia about the eting, which she wanted to ask about the mont he entered.

But his antics had made it slip from her mind.

Fortunately, the good news made Alia sigh from relief before giving a happy smile.

She told him that this was perfect.

One of the most important main steps had finally been done.

Gaining the classmate's trust.

Now they just needed to work further on it.

At the sa ti, Alia also told her about the recent news she had gotten from Akane a day ago.

It was quite surprising news for Amon, since this decision had never taken place in the novel.

And it was to execute the last event of the midterms right in the week after the festival, also called Catacomb Exploration.

It had been cancelled earlier because of the incident last month but..

For so reason, Akane had just decided to hold it.

Amon couldn't understand her motive behind it.

Did she want to complete the midterm events or sothing else?

Amon was sure that it was far more from just a simple reason.

Fortunately, he might be able to get an insight now because of his calling in her office.

That little mont proved to be a good event for them after all.

For now, Amon could just ignore it and wait for when he would et her alone.

Right now, he had so other exploration to do with Alia.

Finally done, they both stood up, taking on their coats and dressing up the finest that they could.

After so minutes when they were done, they finally headed outside into the streets where so of the stalls had been finally set up.

As soon as they entered the bustling streets, the two imdiately caught the attention of the other people there.

And so of them, who were also present at the mall, started to call them a couple even more.

Fortunately for the two, both were two occupied with each other to hear those whispers.

Otherwise, Alia would have completely turned red again…
