255 Akane Blackheart [1]

***

Clank. Click. Clank.

The sound of heels clicking against the floor hard was heard from the side as everyone's head turned.

And for a mont, everyone thought that the shadows inside the hall moved montarily.

As if they had suddenly sprung to life.

At the sa ti, a presence finally entered the stage from the side, all the light and attention focusing on her.

Imdiately, everyone was left speechless, a wave of silence descending among the audience and staff.

The chatter and whispers died down and everyone's mouth was left open.

It was to be expected.

The rumors of the most beautiful woman in the whole kingdom were true after all.

With her long black neatly flowed down her back in loose waves, with so strands cleanly framing her voice from the side.

Her black jewel-like eyes shone under the suffused golden light, reflecting utter coldness and indifference.

The shadows around her moved with each graceful step, as if flowing beside her to keep her voice.

Wearing a sleeveless black dress that fell just above her thighs, it tightly pressed against her body, exposing every curve to the eyes.

Sleek see-through black stockings frad her long legs that gave way to obsidian-golden high heels below.

Golden intricate earrings hung from her ear, amplifying her clean and sharp facial features.

Every inch of her creamy white tantalizing seed perfect. As if it couldn't be made better in any way.

She was truly what the people–who had seen her–called her.

The Flawless Goddess.

Every part of her skin seed to look as it was exclusively crafted by the hands of god himself.

For a whole minute, the audience stared at her noble and graceful form in utter silence, the males and females both, left srized by her beauty.

Even Amon, who thought he was immune to every charm in the world now because of Alia, was left montarily speechless and dazzled at her beauty.

But what baffled him even more was when, for just a simple mont, her obsidian black eyes that were focused on the front moved.

And directly t his eyes in the distance.

Not only that but Amon could swear, for the faintest of monts, her glossy lips that were pressed into a thin emotionless line, bent upwards forming a slight smile.

But in the very next mont, it disappeared, leaving Amon in a trance as to what just happened.

It all seed like an illusion, as if it never happened.

But Amon knew it did, he could swear in the back of his mind that it did.

Suddenly, he felt a tug on his sleeve.

Turning, he saw Alia staring at him with a little concern on her face.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Huh?"

"Your cheeks are red as if soone just caught you by surprise." Alia pointed.

'Oh.' Amon felt a hot rush of heat swell up in his chest from embarrassnt.

But he shook his head quickly.

'Nah, Alia is much more beautiful.' It was true.

Maybe from a majority point of view, Akane was beautiful. Her title as the most beautiful held out but…

For Amon, Alia in his eyes was much more beautiful.

And he only cared about his own opinion in his eyes.

But what worried him more was the concerned look on Alia's face.

"Did sothing happen to you?" He asked.

Alia hesitated for a second but then caved in under his gaze and nodded.

"For just a mont, that weird feeling I had multiplied tenfold." She said.

Amon's eyes widened montarily as his eyes shot back to Akane, who had just reached the podium.

Reverting his eyes back to Alia, he asked her.

"Did you feel her eyes move or anything when she was talking towards you?" He asked.

But to his disappointnt, Alia shook her head.

'Fuck.'

"No, I'm very sure she didn't."

Turning back to Akane, Amon turned silent, trying to concentrate on his thoughts.

But just as he was about to move his gaze from Akane, he saw her eyes move again, eting with him.

A slight smile on her face.

But then…

Blink.

She was back in her usual position, adjusting the sound magic tool given to her to speak.

Amon's eyes widened.

'The hell?'

Was this an illusion as well?

He truly didn't know this ti.

Was his mind from all those visions from the past month playing tricks on him?

Or did she genuinely do that?

Amon felt like he was going insane again.

Biting his lip, he tried to keep himself calm and compose his thumping heart that seed as if it would burst out his chest.

From around him, Amon saw people snap out of their daze as well.

Finally prepared, Akane opened her mouth to speak, her face still cold and expressionless despite the silence in the room.

"Greetings, everyone." She said, her voice coming out for the first ti.

And instantly, the people were left in a daze for a split second before they cald herself.

It wasn't just her physical beauty.

It was her voice as well. Hearing it for the first ti, it sounded so lodic and charming that people were left utterly speechless.

Fortunately, Amon was prepared this ti because of his caution against Akane.

He squinted his eyes, trying to observe every piece of her this ti.

Despite it srizing the audience, Amon saw that to Akane, it was nothing but just her simple voice.

In fact, it lacked emotion and any kind of empathy or compassion, which was to be expected from her.

Heck, even Amon expected it.

Because after such a brilliant move, the speech would seal the deal as well.

This party from Akane wasn't just a celebration but also to make the people forget about the incident last month.

So it would be natural to include kindness and compassion in her tone.

But this was nowhere to be found in her.

Yet, Amon knew her voice already did the tone for her.

Despite being cold and monotonous, it was pleasant and pleasing for the ear.

Amon was certainly intrigued by her.

"As you all know, I'm sure that I was replaced here as the Acting Principal of Eldergrove Academy last month." Akane spoke further, giving no mind to the audience's reaction.

"This was done so after a terrible act that had been committed by the previous–currently under investigation–Principal, Arthur Milize. I'm sure everyone is very much aware of him." She said,

From the corner of his vision, Amon saw Alia's grip tighten around her armrest in frustration at the ntion of Arthur.

Amon swiftly moved, not wanting to cause even the subtlest amount of commotion here.

He placed his hand on top of her, manipulating the blood inside her to make her calm down.

His eyes turned to her face, only to be surprised for a mont.

Her face…

It was utterly cold, without any emotion or smile that she usually had around him.

Fortunately, with Amon's interference, it swiftly disappeared as her face cald down.

She closed her eyes and did a tight exhale, before her lips spread into a gentle smile and she let go of the armrest.

She turned to look at Amon, who was still focused on her.

"I'm fine now, thanks."

Amon said nothing for a second before nodding and giving her a smile.

He let go of her hand and turned back to look at Akane when…

His eyes went wide open with shock as he saw two abyssal black eyes re inches away from him, locking with his gaze.

Amon's heartbeat instantly shot up as he felt his heart hamr against his chest.

Akane's blemishless face leaned closer, a seductive smile playing on her lips.

At the sa ti, Amon leaned back further into his chair, his eyes still wide.

He couldn't make any sense of what was happening as his mind was too overloaded with panic.

But Akane's smile only spread further, her face a re inch away from her face now.

Her slender pale fingers reached up to the side off his face, before making contact with his jawline, her heat seeping into his cold skin.

Amon's face turned red as his heartbeat rose and rose, with no control being left in his body.

Her fingers traced gracefully along her jawline, every second of touch making Amon lose himself more and more without a semblance of control over himself.

Before suddenly, her hand fully ca to rest on his cheek, caressing it, the heat fully passing through his face now.

Akane's face turned to the side and leaned more closer, her mouth coming to his ear now, the hot breath tingling against his skin.

The lavender sll of her hair invaded straight into his brain, plunging him into a state of dazeness.

Before Akane, finally opened her mouth, her lips brushing against his ear.

And then her voice ca, in a sultry and conspiratorial whisper.

"You are mine."
