Chapter 239: Chapter 239
"Your smile is freaking
out. I feel like you are smiling wider at the thought of killing Cedric and it’s more than how you smile when you look at . So won have husbands who like to go out hunting animals or maybe write a book. On the other hand, my husband gets his fun out of killing others. Not that I mind when I benefit from your hobby," Alia said, looking at Cedric who had no idea he was being watched.
Killian’s love for killing benefitted her as she would not have to lift a finger or plot to kill her enemies. As long as he was not hurting anyone innocent, Killian could keep this hobby.
"If Cedric is afraid of a spider, will the demon create an illusion of a spider? Perhaps a giant one? How does this work?" Alia asked. She wanted to see what Cedric would see when the demon started to bring his fears to life.
Cedric was always so smug and took joy in the fact her father had preferred Fraser over her. Alia couldn’t wait to see Cedric lose his mind and then reach his end in the castle before knew it. Cedric should never get to rule behind Fraser.
"He could be surrounded by spiders or see a giant one as you said. Skies the limit. He will be the only person to see it. They won’t be any old spiders. They will look like the ones in the underworld. Those spiders are scarier than the ones you have here. Large eyes, hairy, giant legs, sharp teeth,-"
"Killian," Alia squeezed his arm. "I already dislike the normal ones I see in this world. Please don’t paint a picture of what the ones in the underworld look like. Then Agramon would have a fear he could use against ."
Life was all over for Alia if she were to co face to face with a spider from the underworld. She might faint if she ca across one in this room.
"What is your fear?" Killian asked, curious about what truly scared her aside from losing the people dear to her and not being a good Queen. "Losing
and being Queen doesn’t count."
"I don’t know. It was always just those two things. It might be best if I don’t acknowledge sothing I fear while living with demons. Killian, can this mirror look into the underworld or any other world?" Alia looked up at him, hoping he would say yes.
"It belongs to Lucifer so it can look into the underworld. I don’t know what other worlds you are thinking of."
"Then," Alia touched the mirror once more and thought of her father. She pulled her finger away and nervously awaited what torture her father was experiencing in the underworld. She hoped he was getting everything he deserved for the things he did when he was alive.
The mirror changed from Cedric to King Richard sitting in a chair with his head hung low and his arms and legs bound by light. It didn’t look like he was in the underworld at the mont. It looked like soone had kidnapped the forr king and tied him up.
Alia was surprised to see her father despite the fact the mirror had shown her others. She was confused by why her father was just sitting around instead of getting tortured. Was he sohow exempt from being tortured? Had the demons lost their minds?
"Why is he just sitting there?" Alia asked.
"It’s not what it looks like. Your father is getting tortured. You are looking at the room where he is being held. You just can’t see what his torture is. The underworld punishes souls first by ntally breaking them. Have them go back through their lives in a loop, but it is twisted to hurt the soul. Then they move on to being tortured physically. How ever the demon in charge sees fit. Then we toss them with all the other damned souls. Your father just died so he has a few hundred years before he moves to the next stage," Killian explained.
"A hundred years," Alia muttered. She couldn’t help but wonder what from her father’s life was torturing him now. She hoped that it was an image of her mother. For everything he did to hurt her mother, Alia hoped her mother was haunting him now.
"When you beco a demon and I take you for a trip to the underworld, I will give you a late wedding present to speak with your father. Tell him what’s beco of his throne. What’s beco of you after everything he has done to stop you from taking a throne," Killian said. It would count as another torture for Richard and might haunt him for his one hundred years of ntal torture.
"I want to visit him after I get the Blackwell throne for one of our children. That will make him lose his mind even in death. I’m curious if I would be able to see what my mother is doing in the afterlife. If her soul has already moved on. I don’t think she should be in the underworld, but you never know," Alia said, touching the mirror for the last ti as she thought of her mother.
The mirror started to change from the image of Richard, but for so reason, it didn’t show her mother.
Killian found it to be odd, but then again, he had never searched for soone who had died and believed to be not in the underworld receiving punishnt for the things they did when they were alive.
Alia was sad she could not see her mother, but thought this might be for the best. If she were to see her mother now, she might never want to leave the mirror. "That is all for . You can go back to Cedric," she said, trying to hide the fact she was no longer amused by the mirror since it did not show her mother.
"Alia-"
"Samuel has already accepted looking to find out what happened to my mother. We should focus on Cedric and everyone else in the Blackwell castle. How would you know that the demon has started to ss with Cedric? I want to get a glimpse of what is happening to him. I want to see him lose his mind," Alia said.
After Cedric was taken care of, she would start with the n in the court who exploited the people and gained wealth while leaving the poor to fend for themselves. The point of the court was to help the people and help the King when he was lost.
"Oh," Alia was reminded of soone she wanted to see. She touched the mirror and thought of Leonard.
"Well, this is a surprise," Killian folded his arms, looking at the man who could have made Alia not exist. "He is with my demons," Killiand said as he spotted the demons he left to search for the remaining demons turned into slaves.
