Chapter 200: Chapter 200

"You know, a heads up about you leaving your own wedding would have been nice. Though I must say watching the guest from the Blackwell kingdom hurry to get off the north’s land in an hour was funny," Gina chuckled as she fixed Alia’s hair. For the first day walking around as Queen, Gina wanted Alia to look just like her title. "Did you enjoy yourself when you returned? The flowers are pretty."

Alia looked at the flowers she placed in a vase with water to keep them alive longer. "They are. It was really nice of him to do this. Gina, am I an?" She looked to the side to see Gina’s reaction.

"Did you have a fight with him already?" Gina asked, worried the marriage was off to a bad start.

"No. I ruined a mont between us," Alia replied.

"I don’t think you are an. You have a problem opening your heart and not being suspicious of the people around you. It wasn’t exactly easy for us to get close at first because you kept questioning if your father would pay

to spy on you. I didn’t mind it because I learned how much you have been hurt and did not want to be hurt again," Gina honestly answered. "You and the King seem quite close."

"We need to be closer. He is more carefree and trusting than I am. What would be a good gift to let him know that I appreciate him? I want to make up for last night. Any ideas? Both of you?" Alia looked at Edith who sat in a chair.

"Well normally I just have sex," Edith said as it would cheer her up. "Judging from your frown, that was not the answer you were looking for. How certain are you that doing sothing he likes in bed won’t make up for it?"

"Sex is not the answer," Gina argued.

"Must you always expose how much of a virgin you are? Sex is always the answer and I am sure the Queen would have no issue using sex as an apology. You reek of his scent," Edith said, going back to looking around Killian’s room.

"I reek of Killian’s scent?" Alia asked in disbelief.

"Yes. I slled him on you more than usual when I walked into your bedroom. It must have been a fun wedding night. Since the two of you had sex already, I doubt it would be a good gift now but it depends on who took the lead. How about you be the one to take the lead?" Edith suggested.

"I would prefer if it is sothing more than sex to be more aningful and show that I put a lot of thought into it," said Alia.

"Why don’t you get him flowers as he did for you? It is not every day you see a man being given flowers so he might appreciate it," Gina said so Alia wouldn’t use sex as a way to show Killian she cared for him.

"Then it would make

feel like I am just stealing a gesture he did. I’ve spent a lot of ti with Killian but all I know is that he likes humans and he drinks frequently but he must already have tons of wine and alcohol here in the castle. I don’t know what else to give him. So far Edith is winning with sex," Alia said, glancing at Edith who gave Gina a triumphant look.

"How about you ask the person who has been by his side for years? You will have to do it because I cannot stomach being around that insufferable man," Gina muttered, shaking her head to get rid of the mory of her encounters with him once Alia left the wedding.

"I sense so sexual tension," Edith said to irritate Gina and it worked.

"Must sothing sexual always be on your mind? Your excuse cannot always be that you are a demon and it cos naturally to you," Gina said, glaring at Edith.

"Can we please focus on my predicant and worry about Gina’s built-up frustration for a man she actually likes later? I rather not go to Alastor because Killian has him preparing for my actual coronation here which Killian pushed back. He said the newlyweds should not have another busy day right after the wedding so the coronation should be tomorrow. I think he just wants to lay around so he pushed it back," Alia said, knowing for a fact this was the reason.

"Well, the two of you should be out of the castle to enjoy your bliss as newlyweds. You were crowned Queen at your wedding so I don’t see the rush for a ceremony to happen right after. You need a day or two to rest and be with your husband."

"Maybe that is what I should do for Killian? The one other thing I know about him is how much he loves to get away from his duties as King and stick them on Alastor. The coronation which is honestly more like an announcent since I was already crowned Queen pushed back. I don’t have anything important today. Edith is there sowhere protected but out of sight from anyone that I can take Killian to until tomorrow morning?" Alia asked, holding her breath as she anticipated hearing a yes.

"Of course there are. Everyone has soone or sothing they want to get away from so there are secret spots all over the mountain. I can take you to a place further up the mountain which has a little house. It is where I first wanted to live to be away from everyone but then I decided to live in a village. It is not exactly a castle," Edith gave a warning in advance to remind Alia she wasn’t exactly rich enough to build a big house.

"I don’t mind what it is like as long as Killian and I will be alone. Now I need to find him before sothing cos up and one of us will beco busy. Edith, I need you to check no one is around there before Killian and I think of leaving. Gina, please pack a bag for

and I give you permission to pack so of Killian’s clothes. I will have Cyrus take

to find where Killian is right. You’ve done well once more," Alia complinted Gina’s work on her appearance then she walked to the door.

"Cyrus," she said the mont she opened the door but only her two other guards were present. "Where is Cyrus?" She asked and looked in the direction she was pointed to. Curiosity filled every fiber of Alia as she wondered what was so important for Cyrus to leave her door.

Alia closed the bedroom door behind her and began her search for where Cyrus had gone off to. She walked down the wide hallways and just as she was about to turn the corner, she heard a voice she never thought she would hear anyti soon.

"You wanted

to live a better life in the castle and now that I am, you are angry with . I don’t know what you want Cyrus," Jahi said, smiling while Cyrus paced back and forth angrily. "I have co back so we will not be separated. All we have is each other and I took the job to be near you."

"Do not lie to ," Cyrus sneered, stopping to look at Jahi. "You took that job because you are still angry with the Blackwells. You are blinded by anger so much that you do not realize what you are getting yourself into. Alia," Cyrus sighed, acknowledging her presence. Her scent filled his nose when the wind blew.

Jahi noticed how irritated Cyrus had beco and at first, she thought he was displeased by Alia eavesdropping on them until Alia stepped out from behind the wall and her scent filled the air. Jahi picked up on her normal scent and the hint of roses she must have used in her water but there was sothing lingering on her. The unforgettable scent of Killian Bune.

Jahi rolled her eyes, finding it hard to not believe there was once sothing between Cyrus and Alia. Why else would he get upset? Jahi gave Alia a look over and hid her hands behind her back as she settled her urge to rip out Alia’s throat. Not for her family taking her as a slave but to end this hold Alia had over Cyrus.

Alia had a hold on Cyrus so much that when Cyrus spotted Jahi in the castle again, he was angry instead of happy to see her. Jahi would never let go of Cyrus staying in the castle while she was sent away. So when an opportunity ca up for her to get rid of Alia, she took it and now here she was back in the castle.

"I didn’t an to eavesdrop on your conversation. I was looking for you to help

find Killian. Why is Jahi back in the castle?" Alia asked Cyrus, ignoring the smile Jahi wore.

"Agramon brought her back."
