Chapter 186: Chapter 186

Unfortunately, Alia could not spend a lot of ti away from the guests and had to go back to greet everyone. She was able to skip her first dance with Killian and many others after she claid it wasn’t a tradition in the north for couples to dance on their wedding night so they should skip past it.

"You aren’t enjoying your wedding day but don’t ruin it for everyone else," Margaret whispered to Alia.

The royals all sat at a long table as the food was served.

"Ruin it for who? You can look at their faces and tell none of them want to be here. I am just speeding this up for the sake of all of us. I’ll enjoy my wedding more when Killian and I return ho. We can celebrate it our way," Alia replied, not noticing the smile on the lips of the man beside her.

Margaret stared at her granddaughter, wondering when she should pull Alia to the side and tell her what was to co soon. If Alia was being honest she had only slept in bed with Killian then she did not learn more about what the two couples did. She would rather Alia hear about it from her than from anyone else who would scare her.

She didn’t want Alia to hear the ridiculous advice to just lie there and let her husband do as he wanted. Alia deserved a better wedding night than the one Margaret had.

"Why are you smiling so much? Is there sothing that entertains you? Please tell

it is not ," Alia said after she finally noticed Killian’s large smile. She preferred when he wasn’t smiling because his smile ant he was up to no good or sothing she did unintentionally was entertaining him. It wasn’t fair for her to be annoyed while he was having fun.

"Who else would be entertaining

other than my wife?" Killian asked.

Alia beca suspicious because she had done nothing special since they sat down at the table. "What is it?"

"I am not telling," he stuck out his tongue to annoy her.

"Where is Alastor when you need him to strangle you? At least one of us is enjoying this. I swear if one more person looks at

with a look of pity or a smug look like they think sothing bad is about to happen to , I am going to call Loki to eat all of them."

"I am starting to realize it was a bad idea to give you a hellhound when you are so violent. I quite like this side of you but I think we should calm down. I am almost tempted not to train you to fight because it will make it easier for you to kill anyone who annoys you," Killian whispered in Alia’s ears. "You need to get rid of your stress and I just might have the perfect redy for it."

Not catching onto what he was trying to say Alia asked, "What redy?"

Killian licked his lips. She was smart but sotis she failed to catch on to his traps. "You and I-"

"What are the two of you whispering about? Care to share, cousin?" Fraser’s questions interrupted Killian.

"Fraser," Beth touched his hand. "Leave them be. They are married and have things they want to talk about on their own."

’Why is she always on Alia’s side?’ Fraser angrily thought. He was starting to dislike his mother, who constantly wanted him to shut up. It wasn’t like he asked anything wrong. He was bored of the dull celebration and wanted to know what Killian was telling Alia.

Their relationship was another thing he disliked but at least Alia would keep Killian distracted while he built up an army to take the north.

"Relax mother. It is a simple question I am sure Alia wouldn’t mind asking," Fraser replied.

"It is fine, aunt Beth. We were talking about how wonderful the border looks. Killian has seen it far more than I have. It is a historical mont for the north and the Blackwells to be sitting at this table. Fraser, have you picked out which family you would like a young lady to beco your wife?" Alia flipped the topic to Fraser so it wasn’t her life and marriage discussed.

"I’ll worry about a wife after I beco king. It is good that I don’t have to wait for marriage to take the throne," Fraser said, taking a jab at Alia.

"And how is preparing to beco king going for you?" Alia retorted. Fraser should have learned by now that she was always going to win the battle of insults.

Fraser looked at Margaret knowing she had to be the one to tell Alia of his struggles. "It is going well. Luckily, my uncle was preparing

to be his successor so I am not far behind. I suppose you had a lot to learn about becoming queen. It was always far out of your reach. I’m happy Killian’s offer helped you to reach your lifelong dream."

"It took my father dying for you to achieve yours. I hope you end up like my father. A morable king I an," Alia corrected her words when all eyes at the table looked at her. She truly ant she wanted Fraser to end up like her father, dying at her hands. "To your reign as king. May it be one for the books," she raised her cup.

Fraser was surprised it didn’t sound like she was taunting him with her words. Well, at so point she had to realize she lost the Blackwell castle and had to be sowhat happy for him. Her celebrations were late but he would take it. "To my future reign," he raised his cup. "I am going to miss bickering with you, Alia."

"I won’t," Alia honestly replied. She couldn’t wait to be far away from Fraser. "It is ti we stop driving our parents crazy."

"You an my parents now. You don’t-"

Beth stepped on Fraser’s foot to shut him up before he would ntion Alia’s having no living parents.

Alia wasn’t affected by Fraser almost bringing up that she had no parents alive. She dealt with her mother’s death long ago and she didn’t care whether her father was alive or dead. Instead, she wondered what type of strength Beth had to keep silencing Fraser.

’Would I have the patience to deal with a child who says foolish things?’ She wondered.

Alia turned to look at Killian. Between the two of them, he was not the serious one which ant she would have to take the lead in scolding their child. Killian was already like a giant child so it would be two people she needed to scold.

’I haven’t thought all of this through,’ Alia thought, as she realized she had to not only deal with Killian but quite possibly tiny versions of him. Hopefully, their children would be more like her or if a mixture, they knew not to annoy their mother.

"Fraser," one of the n from the court approached the table. "It is ti for the truce to be dealt with before we depart back to the Blackwell kingdom."
