Chapter 104: Chapter 104

Killian appeared deep inside the woods and glared at the two wolves lying around on a large boulder. "Well, you two have been having fun not listening to my calls. Going forward I won’t care about either of you."

The white wolf Asura jumped up to greet Killian as it missed his presence.

"Do not co kissing up to

when you have been following around Loki when you should have returned to . If you’re going to kill sothing either finish it or clean up," Killian comnted on the dead animal near the rock and Loki’s bloody paws.

Loki turned his head away from Killian.

"Keep up that attitude and I will send you to be with the rest of the hellhounds. I am aware of how much you prefer to be in this up top world, Loki. Don’t make

take you back because of your attitude. Co greet ," Killian held out his hand for the dark wolf to co to him.

Loki did not move until Asura growled at him.

"I can always count on you to be by my side," Killian petted the white wolf. If not for caring for Loki, he would truly send him back to the underworld.

Loki sat up from the rock to stretch his body and reveal his large teeth. He jumped off the rock and walked to where Killian stood with Asura and as Killian expected, Loki tried to bite his hand. This in turn caused Asura to attack Loki.

Killian rolled his eyes at their behavior. To pass ti, he went to the rock where Loki and Asura had been laying to take a seat. He snapped his fingers for the deer they killed to be set on fire. "I have soone the two of you need to et. She will be the queen of the north."

As if understanding Killian’s words, Loki and Asura stopped fighting to look at him.

"Even the two of you have found it unbelievable that I am getting married. She is human by the way but that may change in the future. I intend for her to live forever to amuse . Now that you know this, are you two ready to stop running around like the wild dogs you are and co to my side? I am returning to the castle right now, with or without either of you."

Asura was the first to rush to Killian’s side while Loki skeptically followed his brother.

"Good boys," Killian petted the two wolves then once again vanished into thin air. He smiled at the sight of Alia leaning back in her seat in shock. "Nice to see you again, princess."

"Killian," Alia remained frozen in place and kept her eyes on the two wolves she rembered had attacked Cyrus. Now Killian causally appeared with them in her bedroom. "Why are you in my bedroom with two large wolves? Please get out."

"I brought them here for you to et."

"I see. Well, hi. Now goodbye," Alia waved her hand.

Loki beca curious about Alia while Asura enjoyed resting his head on Killian’s lap.

"That one is moving," Alia’s hand trembled as she pointed at the dark wolf. She was certain it wanted to eat her.

"Loki," Killian called its na to warn it to stay still.

Loki disobeyed Killian’s call and ran to get a closer look at Alia.

"Dammit," Killian cursed. He pushed Asura’s head off of his lap to help but stopped when he witnessed sothing interesting. "What the..." he trailed off as he watched Loki sniff Alia’s hand before laying his head on the arm of her chair.

Alia looked back and forth between Killian and the large wolf. "Why are you just standing there surprised? Is this not normal? Was he ant to eat ?" She asked. The fact that Killian was just standing there scared her more than the wolf being so close to her.

"It seems like that brute has taken a liking to you for so reason. He tends to bite new people I introduce him to or gets rowdy but he is calm. Order him to do sothing for you," Killian instructed Alia so that he could see the extent of how much Loki liked her.

Alia would have preferred if the wolf was taken from her side but she did as Killian asked. "Sit," she ordered the wolf.

Loki stared at her but did not change his position and continued to stand with his head resting on the chair.

"Well, that was a letdown. Can you please remove your wolf now..." Alia’s voice died down as she watched the wolf sit down and stare at her as if waiting for the next instruction. To test this out she said, "Stand."

Her fear changed to amusent when the wolf did as she commanded it to do.

"You, you’re doing this because you know she will let you do as you please," Killian stated as he saw through what Loki was doing. "It is fine by . He will help protect you alongside the man outside. Be sure to feed him occasionally or he will start to bite at you."

"Wait wait wait. Wait a mont. You’re giving

a wolf?" Alia asked, finding it to be an unbelievable mont. "What on earth am I to do with a pet wolf?"

"Many things. For one, Loki will defend you and scare others. He has an attitude sotis but he is loyal. They are both hellhounds who have disguised themselves as wolves in this world. Loki will shield you from demons and whatever has co up from the underworld. I must ask that you hurry up and end what you have left to do here, princess. We have started to rescue slaves and it is nearing ti for

to return to the north."

Alia was saddened by this news but it was sothing she could not avoid. "How long before we have to depart for the north?"

"So of the n will start leaving from today to take the people who were captured back to the north. In two days, they will all leave. You should have your things packed by then for them to be taken back with the other load. I can leave the morning after if you desire-"

"No, I assu it would be dangerous for us to travel in a small group. I will leave with you and your n that day. I’ve sent out the invitations for the truce eting to happen tonight so it should work out well. The hardest thing to do would be to say goodbye to my grandmother. It’s sadder now that the ti is near," Alia whispered.

Her eyes widened when Loki licked her face.

"I will not stop you from visiting this castle. You can return as many tis as you desire."

"If I keep running from the north to here, the people will think I am running from being mistreated in the north. I hope we can create enough peace between the two kingdoms for my grandmother to be able to visit . I-"

A knock on the door interrupted Alia.

"Alia, you would not believe this but-Ah!" Gina scread at the top of her lungs as her eyes went straight to the two wolves.

"Oh no," Alia smacked her face. "Gina, please calm down. I understand your fear as my hand is still shaking from the first ti I saw the two wolves," Alia said as she stood up to calm down her friend.

"There are wolves in your room. Why?" Gina frantically asked. She had not even registered the fact that Killian was present in the room as her eyes were going straight to the wolves.

Cyrus entered the room and looked at the creatures who had pinned him down once before. He had listened to the conversation Alia was having with Killian and wasn’t thrilled to have the hellhound who attacked him so nearby. He would have to keep his distance as it would undoubtedly attack him again once it realized it had already attacked him once before.

"They are King Killian’s pet wolves and he is giving one to

because the wolf seems to like . Yet again, it’s hard for

to process and my hand is still shaking but I need you to calm down a little and not scream to bring attention to my room. I don’t want anyone to know that the king is here. Please," Alia pleaded with Gina.

No one saw Killian enter her room so Alia did not want to bring attention to him being here for anyone to question how he got inside.

"How about I leave instead?" Gina pointed at the door and imdiately left when Alia nodded her head. She preferred not to be inside a room with two wolves.

Cyrus closed the door behind Gina to offer Alia and Killian privacy.

"I will take my leave now, princess. I have to oversee how many slaves were rescued today. Do miss

while I am gone. Goodbye."

"Hey wait! Take the wolf with you," Alia muttered. She looked at the dark wolf who looked right back at her. "What now?"
