Cheng Zhiwei did not want Cheng Zhiyin to get involved in her situation with Zhou Lin. She wanted Cheng Zhiyin to take their parents back to their hotown to avoid so harm, and Cheng Zhiyin had agreed.

Yet she did not expect Cheng Zhiyin to co back.

"Sis?" Cheng Zhiwei did not understand.

Cheng Zhiyin frowned and said, "You are so injured, I can’t be at peace, I must take care of you until you get better."

"Aunt Wang is taking care of , I am fine. I’ll be at ease if you accompany mom and dad back to the hotown; otherwise, with just the two of them there, I can’t be at peace." Cheng Zhiwei tried to make Cheng Zhiyin change her mind.

But no matter what Cheng Zhiwei said, Cheng Zhiyin just shook her head.

"Sis, the situation at the Zhou Family is very complicated right now; it’s dangerous for you to stay here." Cheng Zhiwei could only be frank, "I’m overwheld myself; I’m afraid I might implicate you."

"I will just stay with you in the hospital to recuperate, I won’t go anywhere else. Zhou Lin wouldn’t dare to let get captured in the hospital, would he?"

Cheng Zhiwei was out of options. Cheng Zhiyin was firm in her decision to stay, and she could not persuade her, leaving her so frustrated that she did not want to talk.

When Zhou Lin heard that Cheng Zhiyin was going ho to fetch so things, he suggested, "Isn’t it good that sister stays?"

He spoke softly, his gaze falling on Cheng Zhiwei’s completely pale cheeks,

Cheng Zhiwei’s expression was extrely cold; when alone, she never paid attention to Zhou Lin.

Zhou Lin was not annoyed. When Wang i brought dinner, he personally picked up the bowl of porridge to feed Cheng Zhiwei.

Cheng Zhiwei turned her head away with a disgusted and indifferent look, still refusing to eat.

Aunt Wang persuaded, "Young Madam, just try one bite. I didn’t put anything in this plain porridge, it’s tasteless."

Cheng Zhiwei indifferently said, "I can’t eat."

"You’ll eat even if you don’t want to." Zhou Lin put down the bowl, undid his sleeve, and rolled it up, "Do you want to starve to death with how you are now?"

Cheng Zhiwei kept her mouth shut and still did not eat.

She thought it would be better to starve to death than to be tornted by Zhou Lin like this.

"Guess why I kept Cheng Zhiyin here?" Zhou Lin scoffed contemptuously, "Cheng Zhiwei, take advantage of the fact that I am still willing to speak kindly to you, and be sensible."

Cheng Zhiwei suddenly looked up, staring at Zhou Lin; his head was slightly bowed, and his brow was filled with cold indifference.

Cheng Zhiwei’s lips trembled, her eyes bursting with hatred, "It was you, you threatened her."

It was indeed him.

"Without soone by your side, how could you obey?"

Cheng Zhiwei’s fingers clenched the blanket, and she even felt that at this mont, Zhou Lin’s breathing was laced with malice, oppressively suffocating.

"You don’t deserve to be sentintal," Zhou Lin said lightly, bringing a spoonful of porridge to Cheng Zhiwei’s lips.

Cheng Zhiwei’s eyes reddened, her pale lips quivered a few tis before she finally opened them and ate the spoonful of porridge.

But before she could swallow it, the feeling of nausea surged up, and Cheng Zhiwei could not control herself and vomited it out.

Luckily, Aunt Wang was by her side, quickly patting her back, "It’s okay, it’s okay."

"Are you done vomiting? If so, continue eating." Zhou Lin’s cold deanor was simply devilish.

"Young Master." Wang i shook her head in disapproval at Zhou Lin.

But Zhou Lin was just staring at Cheng Zhiwei, "Is that all you’ve got? It seems your care for Cheng Zhiyin is just so-so. Aren’t your parents taking the flight tomorrow? Why don’t I reunite your family right away?"

As his words fell, the bowl was taken by Cheng Zhiwei, who spooned the contents into her mouth, rapidly swallowing three spoonsful, covering her mouth to force it down. After struggling for about half a minute, she still vomited it out.

Cheng Zhiwei vomited ssily, tears of reflex streaming down her cheeks, eyes swollen, hair disheveled, in total disarray.

Yet Zhou Lin remained expressionless, saying, "Continue."

Cheng Zhiwei clenched her teeth, forcing herself to gulp down the remaining half-bowl of porridge, still ending up vomiting terribly.

"There’s still a lot in the thermos." Zhou Lin poured out more.

Already frail, Cheng Zhiwei’s hands trembled as she held the bowl, no longer having the strength to feed herself, yet she didn’t beg for rcy, but forced herself to keep trying.

Because she knew, begging for rcy was futile; if Zhou Lin wanted to tornt soone, he would do so thoroughly.

"Think about your family." Zhou Lin calmly took the bowl, not even using a spoon anymore, instead supporting Cheng Zhiwei’s head with his other hand, pressing the bowl to her lips, forcing her to eat.

By the end, a thermos of porridge scattered everywhere—on the bed, on the floor, a complete ss.

Cheng Zhiwei was even more exhausted, leaning against the headboard, panting heavily. Luckily, she managed to swallow a few mouthfuls, yet she was tortured beyond recognition.

Zhou Lin’s gaze was indifferent, his sneer mocking, "That’s all the capability you have."

After saying that, he turned and left.

Wang i hurriedly followed, whispering, "Young Master, I know you want what’s best for the Young Madam, wanting her to eat more. But isn’t this too harsh? The Young Madam might feel uncomfortable."

Zhou Lin walked away without turning, "Haven’t you tried every possible thod? Did she eat?"

Wang i fell silent, "But..."

Before she could finish, she suddenly saw Cheng Zhiyin, pale-faced, nearby.

Wang i felt a pang of guilt as she realized that Cheng Zhiyin had witnessed the scene in the room.

No longer trying to speak with Zhou Lin, Wang i rushed to explain to Cheng Zhiyin, "Miss Zhiyin, don’t misunderstand; the Young Master did this for the Young Madam’s sake."’

Cheng Zhiyin, lost in thought, didn’t speak but brushed past into the sickroom.

Her step faltered upon seeing the ss, then quickly lowered her head, grabbing a hot towel to wipe Cheng Zhiwei’s face.

Wang i knew the misunderstanding was serious; she slapped her thigh and rushed in to take the towel from Cheng Zhiyin’s hands, "Miss Zhiyin, let do it."

"Get out." Cheng Zhiyin’s voice was heavy and low, trembling with anger.

Wang i, embarrassed, paused, then not leaving, cleaned up the floor and called a nurse to change Cheng Zhiwei’s bedsheets.

Cheng Zhiwei was indeed too weak and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Cheng Zhiyin turned away, the tears she had been holding back finally falling. If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, she never would have known Zhou Lin could treat Cheng Zhiwei this way, thinking he and Gao Wei were not alike, that he wouldn’t do what Gao Wei did, that he would always treat Cheng Zhiwei well.

Only now did she realize how horribly wrong she was.

"Miss Zhiyin." Wang i approached cautiously, defending Zhou Lin, "The Young Madam hasn’t eaten for days, surviving on nutritional injections, getting weaker by the day. The Young Master has tried everything. When the Young Madam wouldn’t eat a single bite, there was no other choice but for the Young Master to resort to these harsh thods. Please don’t overthink it; the Young Master really had the Young Madam’s best interest at heart."

Cheng Zhiyin wiped her tears and turned around to ask coldly, "Why can’t Zhiwei eat?"
