Although the cultural developnt of this world hadn't reached the level of Earth before Alice transmigrated, the existence of magic allowed the inhabitants of this world to accomplish things that couldn't be accomplished with the technology available on Earth. Hence, the culture of this world could still be considered to be thriving. At the very least, the liveliness of the ani convention here was not the least bit inferior compared to the major ani conventions she had visited back on Earth.
As the event today was a convention hosted to promote both ani and gas, the convention center wasn't solely reserved for ani content. More specifically, the first floor of the convention center was reserved for the various bigshots involved in the gaming industry. These large companies set up grand and eye-catching booths to display various new products and gas. Alice even noticed so booths displaying imrsion-type ga consoles made using special magic stones. When it ca to the developnt of ga consoles, this world definitely had Earth beaten.
In reality, compared to ani-related content, Alice was more interested in the gaming peripherals displayed on the first floor. It couldn't be helped. Few ani and manga in this world had plots that could attract her interest. In contrast, gaming consoles that were leagues ahead of what was available on Earth were much more interesting to her.
Unfortunately, as Lilith's eldest brother Collins was currently on the second floor, Alice had no choice but to put her plans to look around on hold for now.
The convention's second floor housed booths of smaller companies. Unlike the booths on the first floor, the main focus of the second floor's booths wasn't technological products but rather gas instead. As a result, Alice's interest plumted significantly.
However, it was a different story for the natives of this world. The attraction these booths held was not the slightest bit inferior to the big companies showcasing ga consoles. At the very least, the crowd surrounding these booths was not the least bit smaller than the crowd on the first floor.
One thing worth ntioning was that Alice and Lilith had received many requests to take photos of them. So of these people were even Lilith's acquaintances, and they took advantage of this connection to ask Lilith and Alice to do a few poses for them. Although Alice felt a little discomforted by these requests, she still mimicked Lilith and did a few simple poses.
At this ti, Alice suddenly understood why Andusia would freak out whenever she saw Magical Girl Hikari posing. She might not feel anything when seeing others do such embarrassing poses, but she found it truly embarrassing when she had to do these poses herself. She would always get the urge to dig a hole to hide herself after she was done posing for photos.
Fortunately, Lilith had helped Alice put on so makeup before they left the dressing room. So, although others could still recognize Alice if they looked carefully, it should be a while before anyone actually recognized her. Most people would only think she looked similar to the Gryffin Kingdom's princess at first glance.
"Okay, okay, I get it. I'll take you to et my eldest brother now," Lilith said, raising her hands in surrender when she noticed that Alice's patience was running thin.
Despite Alice's cute appearance, Lilith couldn't help but feel an inexplicable sense of pressure when Alice glared at her. It felt as if a powerful creature was staring at her. This was the first ti she had experienced such a feeling.
It should be known that Lilith was not weak at all. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that she was invincible among those the sa age as her. Even her talented second elder brother Etoria wouldn't necessarily be her match.
After all, she was different from her second brother Etoria, who had his attention distracted by various governnt affairs, and her eldest brother Collins, who had focused his attention on gas and other things. She had plenty of ti on her hands, so she used that ti to train her strength. Because of this, she could proudly say that her strength was absolute among those of the sa age.
Although Lilith didn't understand why she would get goosebumps when receiving Alice's glare, she eventually caved to the pressure and stopped dragging Alice around to take photos. Afterward, even when she ca across so acquaintances asking for photographs, she would politely refuse them and promise to let them do so next ti. Then, she led Alice to a small booth on the second floor.
When Alice looked at this booth, she noted that it belonged to a small company that wasn't particularly well-known. The booth mainly displayed a new mobile ga and a few comics. In addition to a few staff dressed in uniform showcasing their ga to visitors, a receptionist was sitting on the booth's front desk playing with her phone.
"Yo, I ca to see you."
Lilith walked up to the receptionist and greeted the other party with a smile. However, her arrival didn't get a positive response from the receptionist. Instead, the receptionist, who wore a black and white gothic lolita dress, raised her eyelids and swept a glance at Lilith through her dark brown bangs. Then, she curled her lips and said in a disgusted tone:
"Why are you here? Weren't you uninterested in gas?"
"Am I not allowed to visit you just because I'm not interested in gas?" Lilith said, smiling. Then, she pointed at Alice, who was curiously looking at the promotional video displayed on the booth. "Let introduce a friend to you. You might not care about our family's affairs, but you should still socialize a little, right?"
"Socialize?" The receptionist frowned and looked at Alice, finding that Alice had also turned to look at him. "This isthe Gryffin Kingdom's princess?"
"You recognize her? Well, I guess that's not surprising. She might have put on so makeup, but anyone who knows her should be able to recognize her easily," Lilith said, chuckling. Then, under Alice's gaze, Lilith pointed at the "girl" sitting on the booth and continued, "So, Alice, this is my eldest brother, that is, the Rhine Kingdom's Eldest Prince, Collins Doyle."
"Hello, I'm Alice."
Alice's expression turned a little strange as she looked at the "girl" dressed in a gothic lolita dress. Although she already more or less knew what was going on when she saw Lilith striking up a conversation with the "girl," she didn't think that the Rhine Kingdom's Eldest Prince would be a crossdresser.
Moreover, Collins had done an incredible job crossdressing himself. Not only did he look nothing like a man, but even his voice sounded very feminine. If it weren't for Lilith's introduction, Alice would have never guessed that this "girl" was actually a man, much less the Rhine Kingdom's Eldest Prince.
"Hello. I've heard about you. You caused quite the commotion on the internet so ti ago," Collins said as he picked up a pair of glasses from the table and put them on. Then, he nodded indifferently and continued, "I didn't think you would also be interested in ani culture. That's good to hear."
Alice had trouble keeping up with Collins' words. Fortunately, Lilith quickly explained to her:
"Few nobles like this sort of thing. So, it's rare to find a kindred spirit among the nobility."
After hearing this, Alice finally understood why Lilith would react so excitedly when they first t. It was most likely because very few nobles were interested in the ani culture. So, Lilith must have felt like she had found a comrade when she t her.
