93: Chapter 93 Essence 93: Chapter 93 Essence Emily Jenkins smashed the bottle with such force that the sound of the collision with the coffee table and the shattering glass instantly echoed through the private room.

In her hand remained only half a beer bottle.

The flying shards of glass cut her hands, and blood began to stream out imdiately.

But Emily didn’t seem to notice the pain.

She brandished the jagged half-bottle at Brian Johnson, ferociously shouting, “Co on then, if you have the guts, co at !”

No one in the hall had expected Emily to beco so terrifying when provoked.

Two flight attendants scread and quickly fled, while Brian Johnson and two other n, facing the dagger-like shards of glass in Emily’s hand, looked at each other, hesitating.

Even if they had twice the courage, they wouldn’t dare to confront Emily now.

Brian Johnson’s face turned extrely ugly.

Flirting with won was no big deal for him, but it seed if he continued, Emily was ready to fight to the death.

Up against soone as desperate as Emily, it seed they had no choice but to back down.

“What’s the matter, scared?

If you’re a man, co at !” Emily, waving the bottle, splattering blood everywhere, added a gruesoness to the already tense atmosphere.

“OK!

Don’t be rash, I’ll let you go!” Brian Johnson raised his hands and slowly backed towards the door.

He too was afraid that Emily, crazed, might charge at him.

He was not sure he could disarm her without getting hurt.

“Open the door!” Brian Johnson shouted loudly.

The door to the private room flew open, and two bodyguards swiftly entered, quickly positioning themselves in front of Brian Johnson.

“Catch her,” Brian Johnson commanded, directing the bodyguards to Emily as soon as they arrived.

The two bodyguards advanced on Emily.

Both were skilled, as their occupation demanded, and might have hesitated against a man with a dagger, but they didn’t consider a girl like Emily a threat at all.

Seeing the n approach, Emily panicked even more, wildly waving the bottle and screaming, “Don’t co any closer!

Don’t co near , or I swear I’ll fight you!”

Despite her threats, the bodyguards continued to approach.

Emily could only step back until she was cornered against the wall with nowhere to hide.

Gritting her teeth and eyes bloodshot, she lunged at one of the bodyguards.

Unfortunately, her hesitation was clear; her goal was to intimidate, not to attack.

So her movents were slow and lacked force.

The bodyguard easily grabbed Emily’s wrist and wrested away the half-bottle she held.

“Help!

Sobody help !” Without a weapon, Emily reverted to wailing desperately for help.

But by then, Brian Johnson had casually closed the door, which was soundproof.

Even if soone inside were singing at the top of their lungs, it would hardly affect the outside audience, let alone Emily’s screams.

“You really are sothing, the more I see you, the more I like you,” Brian Johnson laughed heartily, his sense of control returned as he approached Emily, reaching out toward her face.

“Aaah!” But before his hand could reach her face, Brian Johnson suddenly scread, bending over and clutching his groin, his face twisted in agony.

Emily seized the opportunity to sprint towards the door, having just unleashed an “Anti-Wolf Technique” kick between Brian Johnson’s legs in a mont of panic, offering her another chance to escape.

“Catch her!” Brian Johnson squeezed out the words through clenched teeth.

The bodyguards imdiately rushed to comply, and just as Emily pulled the door open, one of them grabbed her hair, eliciting a cry of pain from Emily as she stumbled backward, but she managed to open the door.

At that mont, a figure appeared in her sight, and she cried out, “Big Brother Brown!” Then she forcefully stepped on the foot of the bodyguard holding her.

Still in her high heels, the thin heel inflicted no small amount of pain, causing the man to instinctively let go of Emily’s hair.

Emily then lunged towards the door, but alas, the other bodyguard was already a step ahead, blocking her path.

That person was none other than Jas Brown.

Although he rushed over as quickly as possible, he had been delayed on the way, and by the ti he arrived, things had escalated to this point.

Jas had just seen the bodyguards grab Emily and charged at them.

With a shoulder barge, he knocked the bodyguard at the door aside and reached for Emily’s hand, only to feel a warm, sticky substance—he knew without looking that it was blood.

“Big Brother Brown, you finally made it,” Emily said, feeling weak all over as she leaned on Jas.

The events had drained nearly all her strength.

Jas Brown steadied Emily and surveyed the people in the room, speaking calmly, “Don’t be afraid.

Did they bully you?”

Leaning on Jas for support, Emily felt emboldened and turned angrily, “Yes, they bullied , especially that Mr.

Johnson.

He even tried to assault .”

Jas fixed a cold stare on Brian, who felt a chill run down his spine.

Brian was used to getting his way with won when they were alone with him, but this was like abducting them against their will.

No matter how tough he was, he wouldn’t dare do such a thing with family around.

With an annoyed snort, he said, “Look, I didn’t actually do anything to you, right?

You kicked , so let’s call it even.”

The two flight attendants quickly chid in, “Emily, let’s just go, quickly.”

Emily Jenkins had finally co to her senses at this point, and tugged at Jas Brown, saying, “Big Brother Brown, let’s go.”

“Are we just leaving like that?” Jas Brown turned his head to look at Emily Jenkins.

Although Emily Jenkins was not willing to back down inside, she knew that Brian Johnson was not soone to be trifled with, and Jas Brown wasn’t exactly a significant figure either.

She nodded slightly and whispered, “Big Brother Brown, let’s just drop it.

I’m not really hurt.”

Jas Brown took Emily Jenkins’s hand and said, “You call this ‘not really hurt’?”

It was only then that Emily Jenkins saw the blood all over her hands, and she cried out in alarm.

Her face went white, and she began to feel the pain.

Tears suddenly welled up in her eyes.

“Kid, who are you to her?” Brian Johnson, sensing that Jas Brown was unwilling to let things go, asked with a frown.

Jas Brown had not spoken yet when Lucy Campbell, who had followed behind, jumped in saying, “We’re her neighbors.”

Jas Brown was imdiately at a loss for words.

He had intended to say that he was Emily Jenkins’s brother, which would have given him a legitimate reason to step in, but Lucy Campbell had just blurted out the truth, effectively making his situation more troubleso.

He turned to look at Lucy Campbell, who winked at him.

This left Jas Brown speechless.

The girl was doing this on purpose, which ant she was deliberately causing trouble.

Could it be that beneath the glow of SSUP Country’s number one beauty, known for her beauty and intelligence, lurked the heart of a little witch?

However, no one in the room reacted to this at the mont.

Their gazes were fixed on Lucy Campbell.

The mont Lucy Campbell showed up, she was dazzling, and even though Brian Johnson and his few n had seen plenty of beauties, soone like Lucy Campbell still left them dumbstruck.

Lucy Campbell glared and shouted, “What are you looking at, you villains?

You’re way too arrogant.

Jas, we absolutely can’t let them off.

Give them a good lesson.”

Even though Lucy Campbell looked fierce, it didn’t affect her beauty in the slightest; if anything, it added to her allure.

Brian Johnson had been kicked by Emily Jenkins and was in a lot of pain, but upon seeing Lucy Campbell, he forgot all about it, almost drooling as his lecherous gaze fixed on her, “Beauty, my na is Brian Johnson.

I’m fortunate to et a beauty like you today—would you like to have a drink with ?”

Lucy Campbell snorted and pointed at Jas Brown, “If you can beat him, it’s not just a drink I’ll accompany you for, but otherwise too.”

Jas Brown felt even more exasperated, now convinced that Lucy Campbell was indeed a troublemaking witch.

Brian Johnson imdiately turned his attention to Jas Brown.

He felt that, although Jas Brown was tall, he didn’t appear very strong, especially compared to his two bodyguards, and he laughed heartily, “Is what the beauty said true?”

“Of course it’s true, but if you can’t beat him, then you can’t bla for not agreeing,” she responded.

“Alright!” Brian Johnson pointed at Jas Brown, “Then I’ll have my bodyguards entertain him.” He deliberately ntioned his bodyguards, evidently to raise his own status.

Lucy Campbell pouted, “One person isn’t enough.

I think all five of you should go at once.

I love watching group fights; it’s no fun when there aren’t enough people.”

“Ha ha… Since the beauty has such a request, how could I not satisfy it,” Brian Johnson laughed loudly, and he was already approaching Jas Brown, with his two companions eager to show off in front of Lucy Campbell, also stepping up to Jas Brown.

Jas Brown knew that a fight was unavoidable at this point, and seeing how these people had treated Emily Jenkins, he had the urge to teach them a lesson.

He patted Emily Jenkins on the shoulder.

Emily Jenkins was taken aback and quickly grabbed Jas Brown’s arm, urgently saying, “Big Brother Brown, don’t fight with them.

Let’s just leave.”

Jas Brown chuckled, “It’s fine, watch Big Brother Brown vent your anger.” Then he confidently walked into the middle of the five n.

“Jas Brown, go for it!” Lucy Campbell shouted loudly.

Jas Brown turned and glared at her.

Others may not know his capabilities, but she certainly did.

With people like these, let alone five, even fifty would be easy for Jas Brown to handle.

Yet, here she was, looking excited and thrilled, really making him wonder what she was thinking.

Brian Johnson and his n, however, couldn’t understand why Lucy Campbell was acting this way.

They thought Lucy Campbell held a grudge against Jas Brown and was using them to get even with him—now they were thinking about how to put on a good show by giving Jas Brown a sound thrashing.

As Emily Jenkins watched this unfold, her heart raced uncontrollably—she was truly worried.

She had only hoped that Jas Brown would co to help her out of a tough situation, not to fight with them, but now it was too late to stop things; there was no way the other party would let Jas Brown off the hook.

And all of this was evidently Lucy Campbell’s doing, making Emily Jenkins look at her with so annoyance.
