“You’re really slow, did you do that thing early in the morning?”
Running into Male Character Nas downstairs, he glanced at John Brown and then quietly teased Sarah Utah.
Sarah Utah blushed and said playfully, “It’s your big day, how could I dare to ss around and delay your ti.”
Male Character Nas chuckled softly and said, “Co on, don’t cover it up. Look at you, with that radiant glow, obviously up to sothing after being emotional.”
Sarah Utah was even more embarrassed and replied, “Oh, have you learned to read people now?”
“Of course, I might not understand other things, but I can certainly see through this kind of thing.”
“Get lost.”
The two joked around for a bit. Although Sarah Utah was shy, she really enjoyed this kind of teasing, allowing others to misunderstand her relationship with Jas Brown seed to have beco a kind of enjoynt.
Jas Brown accompanied them with makeup, hair styling, and the welcoming ceremonies until finally arriving at the wedding hall at eight o’clock.
Jas Brown felt this was really troubleso, but that’s how weddings are. Although he and Gina Lopez were legally married, they hadn’t held a wedding ceremony yet, and sooner or later they would have to, otherwise, Gina Lopez’s parents wouldn’t be happy.
At the wedding site, Jas Brown had nothing else to do, watching Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog hosting on stage while the bride and groom stood happily with their bridesmaids and groomsn. It was quite interesting.
“Ladies and gentlen, to celebrate the newlyweds entering into marriage, the host has specially invited a famous superstar to bless the couple. Now let’s welco this celebrity to give a blessing to our newlyweds.”
As Alice Brown finished speaking, the lights on stage suddenly dimd, and music started playing.
Male Character Nas ntioned yesterday that there would be a celebrity present today, and all the classmates had been eagerly anticipating it. Now they finally got to see it, and they were all incredibly excited, craning their necks to see which big star it was.
“I know! It’s Emily Berns, it must be Emily Berns! This song is sung by her,” a girl suddenly shouted.
“Yeah, yeah, it’s definitely her, I know it too.”
With the prelude playing, many people started shouting excitedly. Emily Berns might not be a top-tier superstar, but her popularity has always been high, as every song she sings is well-loved. However, she doesn’t participate in many events, and she never engages in self-promotion, so her fa is a bit lower. Nevertheless, she still has quite a number of dedicated fans.
Upon hearing Emily Berns’ na, Jas Brown was quite taken aback. Emily Berns being here wasn’t too surprising, but her not reaching out to him or seeing their daughter was a bit unusual.
Emily Berns appeared in a simple long dress, her heavenly voice echoing a beautiful love song throughout the hotel hall as she stepped onto the stage.
Initially, the hall was abuzz at the news of Emily Berns’ arrival, but as soon as she began singing, everyone fell silent, lost in her heavenly harmonious voice, too respectful to disrupt the beautiful lody.
After singing, Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog went up, and Alice Brown said, “On behalf of the newlyweds, I thank Emily Berns for attending. Now, can Emily Berns say a few words of blessing to the couple?”
Emily Berns approached the newlyweds, smiled, and said a few words of blessing. Sarah Utah, standing by Male Character Nas’ side, recognized her but only nodded slightly without speaking.

Listening to these comnts, Jas Brown shook his head quietly. Since no one was paying attention to him, he returned to the room he and Sarah Utah were staying in, as it hadn’t reached noon yet, and the room wasn’t checked out yet. He sent Emily Berns a text ssage with the room number.
Twenty minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Jas Brown opened it to see Emily Berns. He stepped aside, letting her in, and casually locked the door behind her.
“Why lock the door? Planning on doing sothing bad?” Emily Berns sat on the sofa, crossing her legs, teasingly smiling at Jas Brown, a far cry from her earlier image of a pure beauty.
Jas Brown sat across from her and said, “You ca but didn’t call first?”
Emily Berns pouted, “I wanted to, but I was afraid your wife wouldn’t be happy.”
“It’s perfectly normal for you to see your daughter, Gina wouldn’t mind.”
“Seeing my daughter, sure—but it seems like your wife is worried about seeing you alone in a room. If she finds out, you’ll be in big trouble.”
Jas Brown knew Emily Berns’ personality well. She used to be wild, and although she had toned it down recently, old habits die hard. Plus, the two shared a daughter, making him feel less assertive in front of her.
Jas Brown had to change the subject and asked, “Let’s not talk about that. I haven’t heard from you in a while. How have you been?”
Emily Berns blinked and asked, “Are you concerned about ?”
Jas Brown didn’t deny it, “Of course, I’m concerned. After all, you’re Little Violet’s mother.”
“Hmph, I’m just riding on my daughter’s coattails,” Emily Berns shot Jas Brown an exasperated look.
Jas Brown smiled slightly, “I’ll take you to see our daughter in a while.”
Emily Berns was no longer agitating Jas Brown and quickly said, “Great, let’s go now.”
Jas Brown quickly said, “Don’t rush. There are still so things I need to discuss with you.”
“Go on, what is it?” Emily Berns sat back down, frowning at Jas Brown.
Jas Brown gathered his thoughts and slowly said, “Our daughter has already adapted to living with , seeing as her dad and Gina as her mom. When you see her later, how about assuming the role of Foster Mother, would that…be acceptable to you?”
Emily Berns’ eyes widened in anger, “No way! I’m Emily’s biological mom. Your wife is at most a stepmother. How can I end up as the Foster Mother while she becos the real mom? You can’t let our daughter grow up not knowing the truth about her biological mother.”
