John Brown looked around the company this afternoon. He hasn’t spent much ti in the company lately, so he needed to understand the security situation here. “Secretary Smith, why are you here?”
“It’s been so long! I heard from Manager Johnson that you went off to pursue bigger opportunities. You must be developing quite well.”
Hearing this, John Brown knew Lucy Campbell had arrived. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be such a lively reaction. Thinking of Lucy Campbell, John Brown suddenly understood why he had beco so serious about the company’s security. This company belonged to Lucy Campbell, and after developing such a close relationship with her, he unconsciously started to think of her as his own, naturally treating her company as his own and becoming more earnest about it.
At this mont, the door opened. Lucy Campbell ca to his office led by two security guards, dressed casually in autumn attire, her hands behind her back. She smiled at John Brown and said, “Cousin, I’m here to see you.”
John Brown smiled and said, “Why aren’t you at work? What are you doing here?”
“Just taking a couple of days off, so I naturally wanted to see you. What are you doing, so serious?” Lucy Campbell ca up behind John Brown and casually placed her right hand on his shoulder, peeking at what he was working on.
John Brown lightly patted the back of Lucy Campbell’s hand and said, “I’m enhancing the company’s security.”
Lucy Campbell responded with excitent, “Really, cousin, you’re quite serious about work now.”
John Brown turned to look at Lucy Campbell and laughed, “I’m earning a salary and occupying a position. I have to work seriously.”
“Haha… If my cousin does sothing, he will certainly do it best. I believe this the most.” Saying that, she reached both arms over, rested her elbows on John Brown’s shoulders, and leaned on his back.

John Brown laughed, “Trying to snack again?”

John Brown cleared his throat, “Of course.”

“No need to be formal with ; we know what kind of relationship we have. Now that Jas is alright, I’ll be at your place this evening to indulge a bit.”
“That won’t be a problem,” Gina Lopez eagerly agreed.
Lucy Campbell then smiled and asked, “Did you co to see Jas, or do you have business to discuss?”
Gina Lopez blushed but didn’t deny it, “I’m just here to check on him. I heard he inspected the floors earlier, and I’m worried his leg wound might reopen.”
Lucy Campbell chuckled softly, saying, “You’re his wife, of course, you should care more about him. Otherwise, this guy will easily attract attention from others.”
Gina Lopez glanced at John Brown and said, “Yes, this guy is quite a worry, always flirting with so vixens.”
Gina Lopez felt at ease speaking in this manner as she already had a close relationship with Lucy Campbell, so she wasn’t cautious with her words.
